Hand on heart, I would not mind watching ads if they were genuinely entertaining. But right now it is a toss up between some abstract art horseshit where you have no idea what is being advertised until the very last seconds. Or obnoxious crap where the product or service is borderline crammed down your throat.

I keep seeing sports betting ads even though I neither gamble nor watch sports.

Oh sports, gambling, meds and divorce/injury adds can just fuck right off. I don't think there is redemption there.

I deeply wish they would outlaw those. Hell I’d even approve of politicians trotting out their “think of the children!” excuse to do so. We all know that’s not gonna happen though. Too much money being extracted from the poor to glut the wealthy is involved.
