Ngl I was skeptical and really didn't think we were gonna get the 4 sub lords.

Adding them made sense and I was hoping for it, but the fact they mentioned they were outright cut from the base game in the dev interview made me think they were trying to keep expectations in check. Very, Very happy to be wrong though. Even if they're not full routes, anything will be nice, and considering they're adding full on cg cutscenes, it seems like it'll be somewhat substantial.

Also playable gods were not anything I would have guessed but are very much welcome. Idk if I'll go back to Part 3 when they drop but once the 4 sub lords content releases, maybe I'll do another run through and use them

I put this in another comment, but I think the difference between 3-6 maps and 4 full routes is pretty minimal. The story for them looks like its already written. Gimmicks need to be made, but that should be pretty simple since they can just say "bertrand in jail, therefore traditional fire emblem with no fluff" for one of them at minimum.

Then on the maps, you have the 3 qualifiers and 3 main tournament matches basically already set in stone. The first 4 chapters are kind of tutorial maps in each route so those should be simple. Then another 2 fleshed out maps per character and thats your part 1. So 6 maps all said and done, but those first 4 are probably only about the complexity of 1 overall.

Aurora was blatantly the most obvious one. Once her storyline is resolved through Cai's route, she's by far the most proactive in Part 3, immediately coming back to her temple at the start and also actively fighting to defend Ribeira Village.

Yeah, part of me is glad it's coming next year.

I'm very excited to play it, but I also just finished the game yesterday with 120 hours of playtime, for all 4 routes, plus part 2 and 3, and it's the only game I've played the last 4 weeks. I wouldn't mind a break for a few months.

I wouldn't even be opposed to like summer or fall 2027 for this dropping. More time to develop it, and more of a time gap to dodge burnout. It's a win-win scenario lol

It also shows things a bit more clearer. The game didn't spell out exactly how the execution happened. Early on it could have been interpreted as a more spur of the moment thing, but this is pretty blatantly a planned event with people gathered to witness it, which does leave open the possibility that the pantheon could have stood up to Dagda instead of allowing it to go through but all of them were too afraid to do so.

Smyrnos and Jurah are the least story relevant, Kalla doesn't really like fighting, and Credna is more of a support character. Its just Mars being absent who is weird.

Smyrnos is all about studying magic, so he makes sense as a mage. However, I do wonder if perhaps Jurah could be a Pegasus class. She has a Pegasus in her chambers and the Silver Knights of Tellus fight for Jurah's temple.

The sub lords stories does say there's new allies and classes as well.

you can see them doing things on the map on certain days which would likely involve their story quests that aren't the games. then you add in that they already have matches and only need to keep going until the end of the tournament and it isn't much needed to give the 4 of them full part 1 routes.

Yeah, I wouldn’t get people’s hopes up, but you can already see the paths for most of the lords already. For example, in Theodora’s route, Anatolia asks to borrow your ship. If you say yes, you can’t travel the sea until you return to Dagsion on a weirdly specific day.

I’m not saying to expect a ton, as I’m sure we’ll see map re-use even outside of the tournament matches. However, the routes will probably be at least close to the length of the other part 1s.

I feel like there's no chance we're getting the full 12 chapter routes for the rival lords, but even just 3-5 chapters of "Here's what we did that impacts the plot" would be great. Ending, of course, with them being recruitable in the main game, as is tradition.

I should've guessed we had more weapons coming. The ones we already got seemed really underpowered.

The footage we saw of the 4 sublords shows Orchel with animals (implying the part where she saves Seteth from animals), Bertrand standing over the POV character (in what I assume is a significant moment), and Talimun with fire in the background (fire in the background is usually something significant in a story). And the big ass soup kitchen. So I think we'll get something substantial.

I mean the free time and qualifiers as well as presumably you win the games with each lord is already 6 chapters. 3 qualifiers and then 3 main matches. I think full routes aren't out of the question.

Bertrand is the real question mark as he has now qualifiers but I guess there is Cruadin and the Reaper.

(Full game spoilers) Anatolia’s seems to be set on the right side of the map across the ocean when you lend her your boat as Theodora so that could be the case or it could be part 1s + part 2s considering that Anatolia’s scene happens during the games and Orchel’s could easily be a flashback of her as Yu Phas
