Hairstyle Advice Wanna try curls or waves on my too silky straight hair

Hair is too straight and not in a good way.

I've never been a big fan of heat so I've used curler and stuff like total of 3 times in my entire life.

Tried sock curls recently but nothing worked.

Any suggestion? How to do blowdry or even curl my hair without damaging my hair?

Doing hair from home. I hate my current hair.šŸ“ blonde?

I know it doesn’t show up in pictures so well but it’s so brown looking on the bottom. Seeing my boyfriend for the first time in months and I desperately want strawberry blonde hair but idk what to do to this to make that happen, and I don’t want to go to a hairstylist. The places around here are like $500 an appointment

I have always had hair on the thin side, but my hair loss postpartum and after weaning has been awful and I’m so self conscious. It’s the worst at the front - looking for any advice to help, whether it be products, supplements, or haircuts or styles

Help with frizzy/flat hair? Maybe wavy hair?

I am really struggling with frizzy / flat hair. I believe I may have wavy hair and have been following a wavy hair routine for the past couple of weeks. I live in FL and it's SUPER humid almost every day. So far nothing I've done has really helped enhance my wavy hair or stop the frizziness. The third picture is an example of how flat/frizzy it gets sometimes.

My current products are:

Suave Clarifying Shampoo (1x a week)

Aussi Deep Conditioner (1x a week)

Elvive Shampoo and Conditioner (other shower times when I don't use the clarifying shampoo/deep conditioner)

Blueberry Bliss Leave-In Conditioner

Aussi Instant Freeze Gel

I scrunch my hair too! And I let it air dry. I currently have a satin pillowcase as well.

I was using cantu curl cream but decided to try and use leave-in + gel since I heard that can help more with frizziness, but so far it's not going super great. When my hair is drying out, I can definitely see the more pronounced waves better, so I'm not sure why it turns into this once dry.

Any advice/suggestions are welcome! Thank you so much!!!

I have a hair appointment this Saturday and was thinking on getting bangs, but I’m not sure if they suit me or which style looks best on me. I always loved how some girls look with micro bangs, but I know is a big commitment and obviously the end result might not end up looking like these edited pictures… also suggestions on hair color as well. I love copper/ginger hair but also like black.

Last 4 pictures are hair inspo when it comes to bangs and color.

TLDR: do bangs look good on me? Which style? And what color suits me the most?

My bf says I look like the girl from stranger things (11) šŸ˜‚ on the first collage..

Hairstyle Advice Baby bangs, no bangs or bangs?

Sooo, tomorrow I'm getting a haircut!

My hair is really long right now, and my curls are starting to lose their shape. Honestly, I really like the length, so I don't want to cut too much,I just want to add a few more layers. On the other hand maybe i should try going shorter agaiin...

I used to have bangs, and I really liked them. They're completely grown out now, and I'm trying to decide whether to get regular bangs again or go all in with baby bangs. I think they're sooo cute, but I'm worried they might be a little too wild with my curls

1–4: My hair now

5–7: Me with bangs

8–12: Inspo

Sides don’t blend

Looking for recommendations for postpartum hair thinning around sides/face. Sides aren’t blending with the rest of my hair and it looks stringy. Considering extensions but don’t want to further mess up my hair. Maybe clip ins?

Hairstyle Advice Can't tell if I made the wrong decision.

This is the shortest I've gotten it cut after having my hair at my shoulders for 2 years, and i really don't know what to think. I was going for more of an alternative style however i feel this looks very Karen-esque? I know it's normal to dislike a new haircut and it takes some getting used to, but I'm seriously dreading having to leave the house. Haven't gotten any second opinions yet, as I just got back from the hairdresser so I guess we'll see!šŸ˜‚

If anyone has any simple styling tips, it would be greatly appreciatedā¤ļø ABSOLUTELY ANY feedback is welcome!

Protein Overload??

I need help with my routine :( I have chest length 2c fine hair. Not colored or anything. My goal is to have extremely long hair and I cannot seem to achieve that goal no matter how hard I try.
I currently use Pureology Hydrate Sheer shampoo and conditioner every two days or sometimes every other day. Most of the time I don’t do anything besides wash and let air dry. Sometimes I use their leave in conditioner spray.
I hardly ever use heat tools, maybe 3-4x a year, and use heat protectant when I do.
I don’t sleep with a bonnet because it bothers me, but I sleep on a silk pillowcase. I usually either sleep with braids or in a bun.
My problem consists of two things: first, my ends break off, split, and are so brittle and idk what to do. Second, I keep getting little pimples on my scalp even though I wash every other day or every two days. I hardly ever use dry shampoo either. I just want long healthy hair. 😭😭😭😭

Hair Color Advice Does my hair need to be clean to dye it?

I got my hair cut today and my hairdresser put a lot of hairspray in it. I plan on dying it at home and I wondered if i can do it now or if i should wash it first?

I was always told it's better to dye your hair the day after you've washed it but I don't know if this is a myth?

Are these hairstyles something I can pull off?

First two are me now, next two are what I'm thinking. Just needing a bit change, but not sure if I can pull it off.

I don't want shoulder length or a bob or something.

My hair is pretty naturally curly/wavy. Moreso when short.

Thoughts?

Hair Health Tangled hair

Is there a reason my hair gets tangled so easily?

I wake up, brush it. Got to work for 6-8 hours and it’s tangled to where it looks like there’s a giant knot. And then I wear it down the rest of the night. And it also gets tangled when I sleep, which I feel like that’s normal. I also have it in a neat bun at work or a high ponytail.

I use a brush and then I use a comb to make sure I get all the knots out.

I’m just confused on how it gets so tangled.

What do I do?

I have always had such straight hair that it could never hold a curl or a braid. I shaved my hair off a few years ago it is growing back and now it is this curly wavy frizzy situation I have the Eco gel that works when I go to put my hair up but no matter whether I use leaving conditioner dry shampoo moose anything it freezes right back up I don't know what to do. I never really had a female role model that was able to teach me what to do I wash my hair a towel dry it I let it air dry because that's just how I've always done it unless I really need my hair to be dry and then I'll spend like 5 minutes blow drying it I try not to put heat to my hair because as I said I have shaved it all off and started over and after it grew out this is the first time it has had any type of color in it in 3 years of new growth I color my hair blonde. However I don't know what to do about the fridge my mom is of no help she says she doesn't know what to do because she I didn't get this hair from her or anybody in her family and she has no idea where the curls are coming from or whatever my sister is no help she just got out of jail she's really just not helpful right now but I am in need of help because I would love to wear my hair down more often and not just always be putting it up

HELP. PLEAAAASE.

I made a bad choice like a year ago. I wanted to thin my hair and I fucking took a razor (like the straight ones, not the ones you shave with), took a clump of my hair thats on the top of my head, and i sliced it. i didnt slice it fully off, but id say theres like 4 inches of it. ive been hiding it by putting it on a hair clip even though it looks weird cuz.... who puts hair clips on the top of their hair. i also hide it with hats, but does anyone have ideas to hide it while i wait for it to grow?

(pls take in mind that i was DUUUMBBB. like, bad decision, shave off your eyebrow by accident dumb. dont criticize please and just give me ideas to hide it. im in desperate need.

Bangs How do I protect bangs from the wind?

Hi all!
Every morning I style my curtain bangs and they look good.
Then I leave the house and gusts of winds make them completely flat and lifeless.
Any suggestions?
Today I restyled them and wore a hat, which worked well but left a small kink in them and I also hate wearing hats and exposing my forehead

Bangs My bangs won’t stop splitting.

I blow dry them from side to side, but they immediately begin splitting. It is only on one side of my bangs.

Some hair seems to curl away from the rest and causes the gap. It is very noticeable.

What should I do? Should I grow them out? This has been an issue for almost a year now.

Hair Health Cry for Help: Hair Thinning and Premature Greying at 21

This is genuinely a cry for help because I don't know what to do with my hair anymore. 😭

I've always had pretty good hair genetics and naturally thick hair, but things went downhill in my late teens. I had typhoid, experienced a LOT of hair fall around that time, and honestly, my hair was never the same afterward. My hair density has decreased so much, and now I'm also dealing with a concerning amount of white hair at just 21.

I'm willing to get blood work done and consult a dermatologist, but before going down the route of more medicines and treatments, I really want to focus on my diet and see if improving my nutrition can make a difference.

So, I want to hear your personal experiences! 🄹

- What foods did you add to your diet that genuinely helped improve your hair health and thickness?

- Did you notice any difference in hair fall or density after increasing your protein intake?

- Has anyone managed to slow down premature greying or noticed their white hair situation improve after correcting a deficiency or changing their diet?

- What are your everyday foods, seeds, supplements (if prescribed), or dietary habits that made a noticeable difference?

I'm thinking of starting with eggs for protein, but I'd love to hear what actually worked for you, especially if you've dealt with hair thinning and premature greying at a young age.

Please share your experiences, what you ate, and how long it took to notice a difference. I'm not expecting a miracle overnight, just really hoping to bring some life back to my hair. šŸ˜šŸ«¶šŸ»

Please be kind. I'm genuinely worried about this and would appreciate any helpful advice!

Hair Color Advice what can i do with my hair?

i'm going to the hairdresser soon and i'm not really sure what to do with my hair. i love my long hair so i don't really wanna change the length of it other than get a small trim to maintain their health but for the past few years i've been getting long face framing layers and a straight blunt cut on the ends and sometimes i also get it toned into a dark brown color. i just wanna know what colors would go well with my skin color/undertone and which hairstyle is most suitable for my face shape and features. people tell me to get bangs a lot but i just know i would instantly regret getting them, maybe i should try some curtain bangs instead? i'm just very lazy when it comes to my hair, i take good care of it but i can't bother styling it at this length..
