1) Dead Money ā the atmosphere, the characters, the lessons about letting go and moving on in life⦠the villas are so fun to explore and lurk around in⦠obviously the huge, game breaking bonuses via the vending machine you get at the end, basically an infinite supply of Buffout, Med X, and Stimpacks, what else do you need ?? Not to mention Weapon Packs as well you can buy from there with endless Sierra Madre chips from the vouchers⦠Sierra Madre Cocktail is a really great consumable to unlock⦠doing this after completing Veronicaās storyline with the BOS and hearing about Elijah from her, then dealing with Elijah all DLC, is really something special⦠I actually like uncovering all 15 of Deanās secret stashes⦠oh yeah, I almost forgot⦠The fully upgraded Holorifle ;-)
2) Honest Hearts ā very cool setting with Zion NP, Joshua Graham is the coolest character in the entire game, and the consumables you can craft from this are top tier⦠Light Shining In The Darkness is the best gun in video game history IMO and the Survivalist Rifle is also S Tier, along with Randall Clarkās story pieced together from all the caves he lived in⦠the actual main quest line is pretty short and needs to be fleshed out more tho, more tribal warfare IMO to really set the mood⦠I like having the White Legs taken out and the tribes staying put, to open up trading routes throughout Utah with Happy Trails and also because Daniel is a sanctimonious little twat who shouldnāt get his way
3) Lonesome Road ā very cool atmosphere kicking ass along the highway, but itās an extremely straight forward DLC⦠if youāre doing an explosion/gun character, Red Glare is pretty badass with all the rockets it can shoot⦠the legendary Deathclaw you can kill is a fun battle and gives a nice unarmed weapon⦠Ed E here is the best part of the DLC, it was really cool to experience its journey of going to Chicago and trying to find Navarro, and ultimately its sacrifice to stop the missile launch⦠Blade of The West is a GOAT tier melee weapon if youāre doing that sorta build⦠Ulysses was a bit of a letdown for me, personally⦠thought heād end up being a more badass character, instead heās pretty fucking lame and a petty asshole
4) Old World Blues ā very cheesy and campy sorta DLC, the old school Sci Fi movies schtick gets old quick⦠the Sink is nice to use as a base cause it has a hot plate to craft consumables, all the other player bases in the game donāt have a fire/hot plate⦠I found it very tedious uncovering all the personality mods for the Sink appliances⦠the Think Tank doctors are all a bunch of lames still stuck in High School mentality and obviously they are mass murderers via all the lobotomies theyāve performed⦠Mƶbius is pretty cool and I really like his glove as an Unarmed weapon⦠boring map to explore as well, the whole DLC is just a giant chore

Thanks for my friend for modelling for me.

Following up from my take on the average NCR Infantry Squad in the Fallout universe, this is my concept for a Squad part of the NCR Armyās Strategic Reserves (a term I am choosing to apply to the Mechanized Division referenced in the 2002 Fallout Bible). Basically, I am picturing a company to battalion sized force being trucked in from the NCR during the lead up to the Second Battle of Hoover Dam, explaining the increase in the number of Heavy Troopers towards the end of the game and the larger presence of assault/marksman carbines at the battle than is normally seen in the Mojave. The primary real-world precedent for squad organization that is being referenced is the Australian Infantry Section during the Cold War, which is one of my favorites.
āMechanizedā is a bit of a misnomer as itād most likely be just more motorized than anyone else, although Iām choosing to believe with only enough trucks to lift a portion of the division. The presence of salvaged/captured power armor that is actually unpowered in this formation would make motor transport critical for strategic deployments. If they're stationed in Shady Sands that'd be a like 365 mile+ walk to New Vegas.
Iāve created my own rendition of the Assault and Marksman Carbines from the game for this. I dislike their aesthetic in Fallout because the marksman carbine in particular is essentially a late-2000s GWOT M4 Carbine. The Marksman Carbine has an ACOG, quad rail hand guard, flattop, and a fancy DMR stock which doesn't really fit in with much else in FNV aesthetically. So I took the receiver from my Service Rifle concept, gave it the original Colt Model 607 sliding stock (but in wood), shortened it to a 10ā barrel, and gave it the moderator of the XM177E1. The Marksman Carbine version just has the ability to mount an optical sight on the carry handle.
Iāve also incorporated the salvaged power armor guys into this squad as a Light Machine Gun Team (theyāre the only units in the game that are seen with the LMG, which is an FN Minimi backend and M60 frontend). I imagine they probably captured a limited number of sets from the Brotherhood of Steel, probably like a couple companies worth if weāre being generous (I am making this up). One companyās worth Iād distribute to the otherwise foot Rifle Companies of the strategic reserve to form light support weapons teams like this, while retaining the other companyās worth as a divisional unit to main much heavier weapons like miniguns and heavy incinerators. Kind of like how tanks would be distributed.
For high priority units that lack salvaged power armor, the Gun Team's LMG could be substituted for an "Automatic Rifle", which is essentially just an M1918A2 BAR. Despite the fact the Automatic Rifle would have been out of US service for decades (perhaps well over a century before 2077), not kept alive by the CMP like the M1 Garand was, and as a result pretty limited in all likelihood (you'd probably have like a couple in a museum here or there), the fans want it so I'll give it to them.
The Flare Gun would be to allow the squad to communicate with their platoon leader without a radio. For example, if the squad is ready to initiate an assault or has seized an objective that the rest of the platoon is waiting on to be captured. Use cases would be illumination at night, or perhaps scaring deathclaws and other scary wildlife.

I finally decided to play FNV after years of fighting it. It was on sale along with all of the DLCs. My god is this incredible. Iām only 10 hours in and I cannot stop. I felt like I had to push through for the first 2 hours and Iām glad I did. Hopefully they do a remake in the future to bring more players into this world.
Side note: Iām new to the Steam world and donāt understand mods much. HELP ME SPRINT PLEASE!!

It's been a while since I've drawn NCR's most enthusiastic soldier, Lieutenant Killermann.
A 1st Recon sniper with a barely contained distain for anyone outside of the Republic. And the poors.
[Also, trying out my old purple line art again, seeing how that looks.]

I don't know if it is but the though occurred to me while watching the old Lucky Luke cartoon and movie. If it is that's cool if not then oh well no harm done.

Found these guys at Walmart today and just had to get them. Mcfarlane hasnāt always impressed me, but these two are really quite exceptional. Randall is named āNCR Veteran Rangerā, but we all know itās him. The power armor came with the FO3 shotgun, but he canāt hold it worth a damn so I just gave him a Star Wars blaster lol

How old do you think Boone was when he lost his wife? Quick reminder that his age is listed as 26.

I wish there was a mod that had different sub-task quest markers. I find some of the buildings on the strip (and other various vaults) really confusing to navigate--especially when I'm going after a specific task within a quest. Having multiple identical markers for each sub-task is unhelpful if you're wanting to do one specific part of the quest.

Donāt have many hours in the game and am looking to do a long play through. Been waiting for the remaster to play it, but Iāve seen some gameplay where mods completely transform the game and was amazed. Mainly looking for QOL and updated graphics, wondering what other peopleās experiences with these mods are or if anyoneās doing the same.

I presented the rangefinder to the elder (didn't change the guy) and when walking out she started to talk to me but all she said was "what's up?" And didn't finish the quest, what's the console commands to force her to talk to me to have her make her decision
I've tried googling it but I guess I'm stupid because I can't figure it out
