I think it’s just gonna taste like straight cherry and not even come close to tasting like an actual Shirley Temple. I honestly don’t think it’s gonna be that good because there are already a bunch of cherry-flavored energy drinks out there.

The thing is, a Shirley Temple is usually made with ginger ale or lemon-lime soda like Sprite or 7UP, so it’s not just about the cherry flavor. If anything, I think Ghost has a chance of doing it better, especially considering they already have a 7UP collab. What do you guys think?

I'm curious if it's just me or not. Every sip has an aftertaste that reminds me of the can. I straight up licked the can and thought they tasted similar. 😭

It's not that I hate the classic Redbull, it's just that this is one of the reasons I'd pick so many other drinks over it.

You can use the store locator on their site to see which stores are participating and which are franchises. Franchises do participate, but fewer than corporate stores. If you want to get the Baja Skatt flavor from Bum, corporate locations won't sell it for $1. Participating franchises will though.

First time trying and I’m not the most impressed with it. It’s a less sharp OG monster with the faintest vanilla touch. Not bad, not wowed. 7/10

I assumed this was another white monster dupe, but its identical to Ghost Electric Limeade, my all time favorite. The fact that its half the price makes it even better. So now I have two 10/10s

Ladies and gentlemen and attack helicopters, this is why we read the labels on the back of cans. 40g of sugar is A LOT of sugar. You can taste it in every sip.

When I grabbed this can from a brand I've never head of before, I expected something similar to El Jefe's Diablo Punch, which is basically just fruit/tropical punch as well. I was wrong.

This tastes like a Kool-aid. Don't get me wrong, Kool-aid is good, but 16 ounces worth of caffienated Kool-aid is a lot. This liquid in the can is literally a dark red too. Ts is straight up caffeinated Kool-aid.

I know a part of my disliking towards it is because I generally don't like many sweet energy drinks such as Alani Nu Cotton Candy (and is the reason I'm scared to try Ghost Root Beer lol), but I feel others may agree on my take, especially since it isn't a 0 sugar drink that tastes sweet. It has lots of sugar, and every sip feels like a reminder of how much sugar you're consuming in that tiny can. I personally couldn't bring myself to finish the can.

160mg of caffeine. I'll never buy one again. This is my first and probably last Venom Energy drink I'll ever try. 😭

Old ass can from the back of a friend's fridge, it's aight. I usually don't drink full sugar energy drinks, but it was free. Tastes like a cherry strawberry banana smoothie that someone dropped a flower in. Kinda mid.

i've been on a 2 a day monster ultra habit for like 3 years and lately the aftertaste from the sweetener is getting to me, plus my stomach is not loving it. not trying to go full coffee person, i just want something that doesn't use sucralose or aspartame and doesn't taste like sweet water.

been reading labels at the store and online and this is what i've got so far, correct me if i'm wrong on any of it:

- Zevia Energy: 120mg caffeine from tea, stevia only, zero sugar zero cal. super short ingredient list which i like

- GURU Lite: 100mg, organic, little bit of cane sugar plus monk fruit and stevia, around 25 cal

- Jocko GO: 95mg from green coffee beans, allulose + monk fruit + reb m, zero sugar. has l-theanine in it too

- F3 Pure: 120mg from green tea, 5g cane sugar + monk fruit + stevia, 20 cal, no artificial sweeteners

so they're all kind of in the same lane on paper lol. my main worry is stevia aftertaste, i've had some stevia sodas that were rough. does the bit of real sugar in a couple of these actually cover that up, or is it just marketing?

also is 95-120mg gonna feel like nothing coming off 2 monsters a day, or is that a decent place to land?

what are you all drinking that doesn't use the artificial stuff? open to brands i didn't list too
