Meridian: feature list

• Spaces. Set up a separate home screen for each part of your day, each with its own pages, dock, folders, grid and icon style. They can switch on a schedule or when something happens, like connecting to Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, turning on Do Not Disturb or plugging in to charge. They also switch with the launcher closed.
• AI assistant. Ask in plain words ("4x6 grid", "hide these apps", "set up a Bedtime space") and it makes the change. It shows each change old-to-new with an Undo button. You use your own key from OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek, Groq, Mistral, OpenRouter or Perplexity, any OpenAI-compatible endpoint, or a local Ollama server. It's off by default.
• Gestures. There are 16 triggers you can assign, including swipes, pinches, double-taps, rotations and edge swipes. There's also a gesture pad: draw any shape and it runs an action.
• Layout. Grids go up to 16x16, and you can place items on half cells.
• -Icons. Icon packs work and come with a built-in browser. There are 7 icon shapes plus themed and dynamic calendar icons, and you can set a custom image, label or launch target for any single icon.
• App drawer. Choose from 4 layouts and add your own tabs. Hidden apps are locked behind your fingerprint. Search handles initials ("gm" finds Gmail), typos and T9.
• Widgets. You can make swipeable widget stacks. Meridian also has its own widgets: a smart shelf of apps you're likely to open next, quick actions, a Space switcher and an ask-anything bar.
• Privacy. There are no analytics, trackers, crash reporting or accounts, and no Meridian server. Only web search and the assistant can use the network, and both are off by default.

The reminder went off. You swiped it away. The pill is still sitting there.

Persistent Pill Reminder is for that gap between “I saw the notification” and actually taking the pill. If you haven’t marked the dose as taken, it reminds you again at the interval you choose. I’m a DevOps engineer, and Fly Ready is a small Android travel app I’ve been building for low-cost flights.

The idea is pretty simple: I wanted one place for the things you normally have spread between the airline app, booking PDF, screenshots, and phone reminders.

Right now Fly Ready is mainly designed around Ryanair and Wizz Air.

It can:

• import flight details from supported PDF tickets and let you review them before saving;
• show when online check-in opens and closes;
• schedule local check-in and flight reminders;
• keep boarding passes and travel documents available offline;
• show airline-specific preparation checklists;
• open the official airline app/site when you need to check in.

There’s no Fly Ready account; it doesn’t store airline passwords, and it doesn’t upload your trips or imported documents to a Fly Ready backend.

It also deliberately does not try to auto-check you in. I’d rather keep the actual airline interaction in the official airline flow.

I don't really have much to say about it...I got sick of apps that were too complicated for the easy task they were supposed to do. I also hate ads all over the place, even annoying pop-up ads and even such details like the bottom bar wasn't visible when doing something in app, so I had to move around to see it and then just accidentally clicked things I didn't want to click. So I made an app that is just clean and easy to use. I hope someone else will enjoy it, too.
