Arts/Crafts PSA: give your Lego Twelfth Doctor a proper head of hair!
The hair Lego chose for Twelve does not do him justice! The great Peter Capaldi has luxuriant silver curls, not this dreadful widow’s peak!
So I swapped mine out for piece 23186, which I purchased on Lego’s website. Looks much more accurate, in my humble opinion. If only they made a Lego figure of him in his burgundy coat!

Discussion Ok, last week did companions, so this week who do you think would win a game of The Traitors played by Doctor Who Villains?
And the rules are that they have to play it properly, so the Daleks can't just win by exterminating everyone else in the first five minutes

Arts/Crafts Look what just landed in my window. Magical. I absolutely love this thing.
This is the old Toys R Us exclusive that was released back in... I want to say 2016? I've wanted it ever since, but didn't get my hands on it till last year. I painted up the whole box, tried to make it look a little closer to the screen. It was worth it, I think it looks quite magical now😊

Discussion I believe that Gary Oldman would make a good War Doctor if he were to return.
John Hurt obviously can’t be replaced, no denying that.
But if the War Doctor were to ever appear on our screens again (and if the budget allowed it), I genuinely think that Gary Oldman would do well to keep the spirit of the character alive.

Discussion Villains/Monsters I'd Match Different Doctors With
Another fun little thought I had: I've had my go at pairing up different doctors with baddies I think would make interesting opponents for them, ones they haven't faced on TV before.
DISCLAIMER: I know Big Finish, books, and other extended media have definitely done some of these before. In fact, if they have, let me know the examples!
1st Doctor - The Monks
2nd Doctor - Vashta Nerada
3rd Doctor - The Ood
4th Doctor - Weeping Angels
5th Doctor - The Dream Lord
6th Doctor - Cassandra
7th Doctor - Swarm and Azure
8th Doctor - Fenric & The Haemovores
War Doctor - Ice Warriors
9th Doctor - Sontarans
10th Doctor - The Silurians
11th Doctor - The Mara
12th Doctor - Sutekh
13th Doctor - Davros
Fugitive Doctor - The Sycorax
14th Doctor - House
15th Doctor - Carrionites

Discussion How much of the 9th/10th Doctors TARDIS set is left today?
It was in its original configuration for filming of The Doctors Wife. When it was sent to the Doctor Who Experience it had the roof lowered it and was shrunk considerably with a whole ring of the grated platforms seemingly being removed. It was like this for Day of The Doctor.
Presumably because those modifications were permanent? I guess they literally CUT it to bits.
What's left of it now? I assume it's not assembled anywhere. But have more pieces been destroyed since?

Discussion The Three Eighth Doctors?
For those of you that have engaged in all three, are there any differences in characterization between The 8th Doctor in the comic, novels, and audios?

Discussion Thoughts on the Abzorbaloff?
I liked the idea of a monster made by a fan or a kid, but you can obviously tell it was.. still, I think it's pretty good :) even if it is obviously silly and you can't really take it seriously. I love it when he's like "You'll get absorbed!" Or "He'll die, doctor"
Now a few obvious questions:
If the Abzorbaloff's whole purpose is to .. absorb, then why do we only see the faces of those in the episode? Are we meant to believe this was his first time doing this?
.. Why is he Scottish? So silly
So, in the episode all of the absorbed people defeat him by basically concentrating really hard. There's a few problems with this
Wouldn't that mean that the more people he eats he gets weaker, not stronger?
Also: His whole motive is to find the Doctor, so he can absorb him. But if just some normal ass people can beat him by thinking.. imagine what would h happen if it was the Doctor Who is so old, and so smart.
Doesn't make a lot of sense.
Discuss :)

Discussion Which Doctor was assumed to have fought in the time war before the war was introduced???
When I was a kid, I thought that the eighth doctor or the ninth doctor fought in the time war, but obviously the war doctor came along and we now know it was none of them. But is there any expanded media that goes into which doctor fought in the time war before the war doctor was introduced???
Edit: I forgot to say “War Doctor” in the title

Arts/Crafts Lego Doctor Who 12th Doctor season 10
The sonic screwdriver is basically the 11th screwdriver turned upside down and modified. The bit he holds is fully flat and the lever is printing but idk if that would work bc obv there would be a lot of friction in that area when you put it in the ninifigs hand. Either way it was a fun concept but idt I’ll ever draw that mold again.

Discussion what if the doctor has actually seen himself millions of times but he couldn't know that because of his biology
it might sound crazy, but imagine how long a life he must've lived in the moment he dies, so what if in all of that life he met his past reincarnations 100000000 of times and he actually lived a life way longer than he thought after he became stranding in nuwho but doesn't remember it because of his own biology
and yes you can say about companions and the other people he's sometimes with but as far as i know when somebody calculated his years with companions it came out that most of his life he was lonely soooo... and yeahhh i know that he's avoiding to be in times and places he has already been to but it doesn't always work as we can see in the day of the doctor and twice upon a time

Question Alt 8th Doctors query! (Big Finish)
I'm currently researching alternate versions of the Doctor - can anyone clarify whether the following versions of the 8th Doctor are temporary changes, parallel-timeline versions of the Doctor, duplicates, or something else?
- The 'Axon Doctor' from 'Master!': "Planet Doom"): McGann in his new series costume, with gold skin and pin-pong-ball eyes
- A partially Krynoidised 8th Doctor in 'Planet Krynoid': "Nightfall").
Thank you!

Discussion My biggest hopes for the next Eras
- NO MORE FOURTH WALL BREAKS
- Scale down the season finales.
- Now that RTD is gone, bring back Christopher Eccleston
- At least 10 regular episodes per season. For all the faults of the Chibnell era, it had some of the best protection quality of Dr who ever up until that fine and still managed to produce at least 10 regular episodes for their first two seasons.
- Bring back the pure historicals of classic Who.
- Find a way to organically (I.e. Without making it nostalgia bait) bring back Martha Jones and Gwen Cooper
- More variety in companions than contemporary human.
- More spooky episodes
- No more story teases past what the Showrunner can be reasonably be confident will get green lit.
- Now that RTD teased Shalka Doctor as part of the Main Doctor‘s timeline, actually do something with him (this one is mostly me being a fan of Richard E. Grant)
- Do more with the Fugitive Doctor than relegating her to random cameos and confusing multimedia things.
EDIT: next era of Doctor Who as a franchise, NOT the immediate one or two next seasons of the main show.
