It was in its original configuration for filming of The Doctors Wife. When it was sent to the Doctor Who Experience it had the roof lowered it and was shrunk considerably with a whole ring of the grated platforms seemingly being removed. It was like this for Day of The Doctor.

Presumably because those modifications were permanent? I guess they literally CUT it to bits.

What's left of it now? I assume it's not assembled anywhere. But have more pieces been destroyed since?

Jodie Whitaker was arguably screwed over by weak writing and far too many companions. Though, many people like her era, I'm not one of them.

However, I like Jodie herself for several reasons.

You?

For those of you that have engaged in all three, are there any differences in characterization between The 8th Doctor in the comic, novels, and audios?

An ace adventure the official magazine comes put tommrow with a 240 page book at childhoods's end

I liked the idea of a monster made by a fan or a kid, but you can obviously tell it was.. still, I think it's pretty good :) even if it is obviously silly and you can't really take it seriously. I love it when he's like "You'll get absorbed!" Or "He'll die, doctor"

Now a few obvious questions:

1. If the Abzorbaloff's whole purpose is to .. absorb, then why do we only see the faces of those in the episode? Are we meant to believe this was his first time doing this?

2. .. Why is he Scottish? So silly

3. So, in the episode all of the absorbed people defeat him by basically concentrating really hard. There's a few problems with this

Wouldn't that mean that the more people he eats he gets weaker, not stronger?

Also: His whole motive is to find the Doctor, so he can absorb him. But if just some normal ass people can beat him by thinking.. imagine what would h happen if it was the Doctor Who is so old, and so smart.

Doesn't make a lot of sense.

Discuss :)

In Day of the Doctor the war Doctor choose to try saving Gallifrey instead of destroying it using the moment but do we know what happened to the device after it? Like did the doctor kept it? I’m very unsure about that or did he let in his childhood barn?

When I was a kid, I thought that the eighth doctor or the ninth doctor fought in the time war, but obviously the war doctor came along and we now know it was none of them. But is there any expanded media that goes into which doctor fought in the time war before the war doctor was introduced???

Edit: I forgot to say “War Doctor” in the title

I'm currently researching alternate versions of the Doctor - can anyone clarify whether the following versions of the 8th Doctor are temporary changes, parallel-timeline versions of the Doctor, duplicates, or something else?

• The 'Axon Doctor' from 'Master!': "Planet Doom"): McGann in his new series costume, with gold skin and pin-pong-ball eyes
• A partially Krynoidised 8th Doctor in 'Planet Krynoid': "Nightfall").

Thank you!

The sonic screwdriver is basically the 11th screwdriver turned upside down and modified. The bit he holds is fully flat and the lever is printing but idk if that would work bc obv there would be a lot of friction in that area when you put it in the ninifigs hand. Either way it was a fun concept but idt I’ll ever draw that mold again.

To me this looks like it would have fit right in alongside his Series 9 ensembles.

What episodes do you think are the lowest of every era? Like obviously i’m gonna see ‘Orphan 55’ and ‘Reality War’ and ‘Timelash’. I’m looking to watch through each of these episodes to see if I agree with these takes. (I probably will, given when Doctor Who has a low its REALLY low)

I'm currently doing a watch-through of Season 22, and it seems like almost every episode ties back to something from the past. Like, heavily. Attack of the Cybermen is a sequel to Tomb of the Cybermen; Mark of the Rani brings back the Master; The Two Doctors returns the 2nd Doctor, Jamie, and the Sontarans; Timelash reveals that the Third Doctor and Jo had a previous adventure on Karfel; and Revelations brings back Davros. Besides Vengeance on Varos, every single story in this season has either a returning foe or doctor-- or both!

And then Series 15 had all that stuff with the Rani, bigeneration, Omega, and Poppy, and all those cameos.

Starting next month Britbox Australia will be streaming Classic Who, Nu-Who, Christmas specials, Anniversary specials, and all spin-offs. Only Disney Who will not be on Britbox.

Can anyone make out all the mouthing between the Doctor and Donna when they first discover each other gazing through windows, and provide a clear transcript?
