October Image Requests, AI RPG Tools, Spooky Images, and Discussion!
đ Welcome to October, adventurers! Pull up a chair at the haunted tavern, keep an eye on that suspicious pumpkin, and share what youâre creating.
This monthâs thread is for image requests, AI RPG tools, prompts, troubleshooting, and discussion along with a little Halloween magic.
Preparing a spooky one-shot? Need a ghostly NPC, a cursed item, or a vampire castle? Bring your ideas here. Halloween themes are encouraged, but all campaign styles are welcome.
đ» Image and Creative Requests
Ask for help with character portraits, monsters, locations, battlemaps, tokens, items, handouts, or campaign ideas.
Include:
- What you want: an image, prompt, feedback, or workflow advice.
- Style and mood: gothic horror, eerie fairy tale, cosy autumn fantasy, old-school dungeon art, or something else.
- Key details: appearance, equipment, setting, colours, and composition.
- Intended use: portrait, token, campaign banner, VTT background, or printable handout.
Example: âIâd like a wide, painterly scene of a haunted roadside tavern, with ghostly patrons, pumpkin lanterns, and an adventuring party arriving through autumn mist. Spooky but welcoming, with no text.â
đŻïž Prompts and Workflow Help
Is your terrifying lich looking unusually friendly? Does your haunted castle keep acquiring modern windows?
Share your prompt, tool or model, relevant settings, what you wanted, what you got, and what youâve already tried. Examples make it easier for others to help.
đ§ AI RPG Tools and Recommendations
Built a tool for tabletop games, campaign preparation, worldbuilding, solo play, maps, or character creation? Tell us about it.
Explain what it does, who it helps, whether itâs free or paid, where people can try it, and any limitations. Screenshots and practical examples are welcome.
Clearly disclose if youâre the creator, an employee, an affiliate, or otherwise connected to the project.
Using a tool you love? Share how it fits into your games, what it does well, and where it struggles.
đŠ October Discussion
A few ideas to get things rolling:
- Whatâs the creepiest creature youâve generated?
- Which prompts give you atmospheric horror without relying on gore?
- How do you keep recurring villains consistent across images?
- What AI tools have helped you prepare a Halloween one-shot?
- Can you make a mimic disguised as a pumpkin that your players would actually trust?
đ Keep It Helpful
Be specific, constructive, and transparent about the tools you use. Credit other peopleâs prompts, references, and workflows. Label promotions, avoid repetitive advertising, and follow subreddit rules.
Drop your October requests, creations, tools, and questions below. May your lanterns stay litâand may that chest really be a chest. đČđ

Maeve Tallow, the Candle Broker - NPC, tokens and encounter map
Krea 2 Monster - Black Dragon
Lording over the darkest swamps and marshes, black dragons are the undisputed masters of their domain, ruling through cruelty and intimidation. Those who dwell within a black dragonâs reach live in fear. Black dragons tend to make their lairs in remote parts of the swamp, preferably in caves at the bottom of dark and fetid pools. Inside, they pile up their filthy treasure and sleep amid the roots and muck. Black dragons prefer their food a bit rotten and will often allow a meal to sit in a pool for days before consuming it. Black dragons prefer treasures that do not rot or decay, making their hoard, full of coins, gemstones, jewelry, and other objects made from stone or metal.
