So this starts off as a request to Bungie. Please if or when Shadow Price is reprised, please swap it to the kinetic slot like you did with True Prophecy, changing it from kinetic to arc. I personally, and I know it’s nostalgia based, but in D1, the vanguard weapons; Shadow Price, The Comedian, and The S.W.A.R.M. was my favorite weapons to run cause i liked the feeling of em. Were they the greatest? No! But it was fun. So it’s just a basic request to bring it back to the kinetic slot so that you can use it all mg side Comedian and Plug 1! I know Origin Story exists as a kinetic precision rifle already so I’d be fine it being stasis/strand but I enjoy kinetic perks a bunch. And since they’re Nightfall weapons, having them in the pinnacle pool with the unique origin trait being possible would also really be cool! I like hunting for those with the Accelerated Assault origin cause they feel like the holofoils or uniques worth going for!

But I wanna ask if there’s anything like that other people kinda want? I hope we get everything in the pools reprised/earnable so we have a plethora and giant variety for all people to find the weapons that speak to them! But please let me know! I’d also just be happy to hear about what others want! Single handed guns or sets of em, I also would love to see changeable scopes again one day maybe in the next destiny or something!
Also thoughts on what will happen with the weapon pools when reprised raids come back too? Like Scourge since their entire weapon set is in the 6 man activities!

I recently started playing Hunter and found a sick cloak from ada, unfortunately u cant color it.

And i can really find any alternatives that are similar to it, besides the Lustrous cloak u can get from the tenet of bravery. Sadly this one has golden a golden designed woven in and that cant be shaded either lol.

Unfortunatly i have found no real alternatives from googling that someone like me, who started with MoT, could get.

I kinda doubt there is a alternative atp but thought it cant hurt asking one of the vets on here

Hello. I have a question regarding mementos from Vault of Glass, because I could not find any up to date information. How exactly do these mementos drop? I got two after I returned from a long break and kind of wasted them and now have yet to see another one. Could anyone please help me and explain how they work?

Somehow the game gave me a pvp weekly order for the first time ever since i came back to d2.

12 times c or higher in pvp or gambit.

Managed to get so bad at pvp in shooter games over the years so the question is: whats the fastest mode so i can finish it fast/finish it while also not disturbing the usual pvp players doing their pvp stuff? xD

Apparently Shieldcrush gives 25% grenade damage boost when Radiant or Amplified (which is simple to maintain) and when you add the 65% damage increase to grenades that 200 grenade stat gives you, you're looking at 90% increased grenade damage. Anyone turned this into a build?

I want hierarchy of needs, yes I know its rng, yes I understand I might be unlucky....BUT I have farmed for hours and nearly got 30 clears.

I play with 2 friends, one of which got it first try and the second got it within a few after. Is rng giving me the middle finger or has there ever been a bug where a dungeon exotic just doesnt drop because at this point it feels just wrong it hasn't dropped for me.

I’ve never played Titan class and need a few pointers, I wanted to do a pure arc path as well, as I have a tendency to lean towards solar. I’d also like to branch out from using side arms and automatic weapons. Suggestions and pointers would be greatly appreciated :3

On the moon, if you OOB out of the area where you get the divinity quest by sparrow flying to the very back of the cave, and you can look outside the map to see this interesting looking area that I've been trying to get to. I've tried a few different OOB's like the one you can get to by sword flying/skating to the scarlet keep and glitching out from the left wall, but they all box me into areas full of death barriers. Does anyone know of a way to get here or an OOB with no barriers?

Can't seem to find any real hard numbers on them.

His might sound dumb but I have zero clue where I left off and how to find missions or new story lines is not very user friendly…

How do I know what stories I have completed or haven’t and how do I replay them if I want to play them again.

It's really annoying. I appear offline for a reason on steam, why does Destiny simply bypass that and show everyone who's online.

I add back one random blueberry from a VOG run and now every time I come online he's inviting me to run his blueberry content. Like don't get me wrong I love helping out new or inexperienced players, but brother, I can't run through entire multiple campaigns with you to help you out.

And then he wants me to carry him through the raids over and over without learning anything. He just sits there and lets me struggle with everything asking other people if they know what to do, because its "too complicated" for him.

I mostly play solo, because I don't like talking to people. I guess I brought this upon myself, but still, I like adding people, so we can raid from time to time. But I don't like being forced to alert everyone to when I'm online.

I know it'll probably never happen but it's just a shot in the dark. I wish they would just add this one feature with the content unvaulting lmao.

Played the first destiny and just bought all the content a couple days ago for the 2nd. Heard all the old content was going to be un vaulted. I'm glad bungie has decided to stick with destiny, I always enjoyed the first one.

Just curious as to any tips or tricks you wish you'd known when you started, coming back into this game so late I really don't know much.

TL;DR - it’s literally impossible to make Destiny operate like MCC because the latter is a bundle of games rather than one game with multiple dlcs which have intertwined assets and a shared player base.

I see people often point to the Master Chief collection as if that’s a simple and elegant solution to the file size issue of D2, if it were to continue receiving new content.

But they miss the fact that the MCC is a series of separate (key word there) games in a bundle. It makes zero sense to compare it to Destiny or to say that expansions could be treated similarly.

Online “forever” games and MMOs do not work like that because they are singular games, you are sharing the space with other players who are using that content - so in order for you to actually be able to play the same game that requires you to be playing the same version.

A dlc becomes intertwined with everything.

Even if you don’t have access to the latest expansion, it is still downloaded onto your device so you can still play with those who do have access and its associated loot & assets.

the only reason a game like Monster Hunter can separate players based on access to dlc is because those games only get One massive expansion (+ post launch support updates), and you have to complete the base game to access the dlc, which is a lot of content.

so the player populations in those games are just Base game vs Base game + 1 DLC, which works just fine for that game.

It would not work for something like Destiny 2 or any mmo.

Is there a way to speed up getting exotic orders? I feel like I’m clearing orders like crazy but not getting any. I’m trying to get Truth catalyst so if there are better ways to farm that I’ll do that instead

are these just a random drop from pinnacles, or do i have to wait until it's the reward before i get a chance? is that the only place to get one with aa?
