Discussion 💭🗯️ Musicians whose careers stalled after Covid

Post image

Camila Cabello was huge 2017-2019, but her popularity really dwindled post Covid. What other musicians were popular in the 2010s but fizzled after 2020s?

It's really a shame how the up-and-comers of the late 2010s had their careers stall out because of covid killing their momentum.

Which has also led to an odd side effect of late 2000s/early 2010s musicians still being relevant, long after the next wave should have pushed them out of the limelight.

I’d argue is more that the decade ended than Covid. Because we were all home, we were consuming content like crazy. It was, arguably, the best time for artists to release new music and sing live on socials

It was. Bad Bunny was really building momentum and then Covid happened. YHLQMDLG was made for parties and clubs but we were all stuck inside. He did have a ton of success though and kept it going.
