My childhood dog passed away today

Ive had her since i was 8. Got her as a chirstmas gift from my parents to teach me responsibility. Unfortunately we had to put her down today after she survived 16 years, after a few hours i decided to listen to some music to clear my mind after crying so much. The first song that played was Pets and i immediately started bawling my eyes out. I will now always think of my pup bailey whenever this track plays 💓

making it for Halloween. Me and someone else are making one from scratch from what little info we got from the internet. so far we do go got the head shape (kinda) and the smile. Pretty proud of it. let you know if we finish it

And of course we’re listening to deadmau5 while we’re working

Wasn’t expecting this surprise at all. Along with some computer and car parts, I got a couple of Joel’s records and some deadmau5 merch as well! 🙌🏼

I know lurking horders are sometimes looking for mau5heads around Halloween, so I thought I'd post these here first and see if there's any interest before posting them on >untitled arts and crafts website with high fees<

Additional Info: The left one is the classic blue/black/yellow color from the Rat era/Rukes photos. The right one is just the classic red/white RAThead. Both are clear coated with 1K gloss. You can choose whether you want the Xes on the eyes or not. They're both 3D printed on a large bed printer so each piece (ear/ear/head) is one solid piece - no plastic welding or anything. The eyes are RGB, with WLED controllers mounted inside the helmet so you can change colors with your phone. The power comes from a 20,000 mah powerbank, and connects to the eyes with standard usb-c pd cables (you can see the power bank and cables on images 2 and 3.) It re-charges with a usb-c cable and easily fits in a pocket.

The mouth grill is 3D printed as well and is fixed in place with adhesive - no sliding visor action on these. The ears pressure fit into the mounts, but you can permanently fix them in place with e6000 if you want (it's cheap and available at any hardware store.) It probably goes without saying, but these are baseball-helmet-mounted and can be worn. See last photo for what it looks like on-head (ignore my gross painting clothes)

Send me a DM if you're interested and I'll give you shipping/price info! (I'm located in the states.)

Also, if you're interested in 3D printing your own and have any questions - feel free to post here and I'll do my best to point you in the right direction/let you know what techniques and materials I prefer to use... no gatekeeping! but get started now - lot of people wait too long and end up missing Halloween or whatever mau5 show they're planning on attending. Don't forget, there are unskippable cure times when it comes to paints and adhesives.

Mods, i feel like this doesn't break sidebar rules? But if so, I apologize and feel free to delete.

I won’t be able to attend the concert this Saturday, I got 2 general admission tickets for 76.33$ each but because of the urgency I am selling them for 50$ each, 100$ total for both!

Please reach out to me if you want them! We can ask for a mod to be an intermediary .

POSTED ON FB AS WELL

i wasn’t able to get the Bounce Empire Tickets in time, so i paid the deposit for 3 tix for the POSSIBLE 2nd show. if ANYONE isn’t able to go, please let me know! our 7 yr old is excited at the possibility of attending a deadmau5 event.

pic so we don’t get lost, he was 4 here 🥹

I met my best friend u/CHAYsounds in line at a deadmau5 meet & greet.
Now we’re releasing official remixes on his label.

Here's a video about our story and journey together

had this thing sitting in my attic for the past 15 or so years. it’s based on the mau5head from deadmau5’s 2009 bbc radio 1 set. figured with the recent resurgence of interest in deadmau5, i’d see if there’s still a market for these.

anyone know if people still buy these, or what something like this might be worth?

Anyone have the mp3 for this? tried downloading on their soundcloud, but the link doesn't work :/ (Kx5 is Deadmau5 for the ai moderator)

donde puedo descargar o escuchar el album completo?

The last DOTD I went to was in 2021. Joel was at the pop-up so we were able to meet him, which was awesome! Does anyone know if that happens at all of the popups still? I keep seeing the VIP tickets get a meet & greet included, just wondering if he will still do a picture/signing thing at the merch popup. Thank youuuu!

What song is being used on this ad for his upcoming concert? https://www.instagram.com/p/DeQIgvEMCNz/?psln=cTdqZ3h4dXNicnhk

My gf said strobe sounds awful and weird what do I respond

For example here are some of the things I always do, that give me that “omg it’s really here!” feeling….

- I always listen to Jaded with ambient start as the plane takes off

- we always go to Brass Armadillo on the first day and I buy something bizarre. Last year I bought a collage made from a Victorian lady’s teeth. If you’ve not been to Brass Armadillo before then WHY NOT???!!

- We always get donuts from Voodoo Donuts on the way to the pop up.

- We always eat at that McDonalds in Denver airport departures, and it’s the most depressing moment of the year lol.

- I always watch the Shawn Ryan interview in its entirety on the plane back, as it takes me halfway home (I’m from the UK) This is fairly new as the interview was only a couple of years ago.

What are some of yours?

When I am working (and my Alexa isn't), I pull up youtube on my computer and just put it on the bo55's channel and let it play through everything uploaded. I have heard numerous shows and tonight I listened to the one from VELD Music Festival 2025 and I loved every minute of it and the mixes he did. Is there somewhere to download/purchase/obtain that EXACT show so I can listen to it when I am in my car, without having to pull up youtube?

I checked Spotify and the playlist is there, but it's just the songs and not the actual audio from the show. Could it be uploaded somewhere else?

Pearl Jam would release CD's for every show they did... I need mau5 to do the same!

I bought this pin from the SF pop up store 3 years ago, opened the pack, put it on my hat and didn’t think much of it. The pin got dirty and rusty over time. Today I took off the pin and didn’t know the back of it had text. 250/250, huh, never knew

What are the chances of deadmau5 doing the Sphere before I die?

What people think of new release of the song? - I thought it was awesome 😎 I liked it much more the latest Reward is Cheese remix.

I actually enjoyed the music livestream. I used it at work and at home as background music.
