🚨BREAKING DCU NEWS🚨
James Gunn has confirmed that father-son duo Louis Sammartino Sr. & Louis Sammartino have been officially cast as Cundiff Cood and Galius Zed in the potential second season of Lanterns. If season two of Lanterns isn’t green-lit by HBO they could also appear in other DCU projects and possibly a hinted-at Lanterns spin-off comedy series titled “Fatties.”

What should be the first DCU game?
James Gunn announced years ago that he had a plan not just to include TV shows, movies and animated projects in the DCU, but also video games. This is something not even Marvel has done.
What do you think should be the first DCU game? Personally, I think they should do a Superman game after Man of Tomorrow comes out.
I also think that if Clayface does well at the box office, a video game might be preferable to a sequel, especially with the horror aspects.

After all of the recent developments, I think it is an inevitability that Robert Pattinson will be the DCU Batman.
galleryMatt Reeves getting replaced by Steven Soderbergh for the rest of shooting of The Batman: Part II, which is reportedly still over 6 weeks of shooting, and Gunn’s unusual support for Matt Reeves’ vision amidst the latter’s pressing family emergency, even at the cost of indefinitely withholding production on The Brave and the Bold.
What Gunn and Safran are doing here is building trustful professional relationships with top visionary talents like Matt Reeves. After all of this troubles and hassles, when The Batman: Part II finally arrives, Matt Reeves would be so incredibly grateful to Gunn and Safran for standing behind him like a rock in his times of professional and personal problems, that he wouldn’t have problems with letting Gunn and Safran use Pattinson’s Batman into the DCU after all they’ve done for him, and hopefully they would’ve earned Reeves’ confidence that his vision for Batman and Gotham would safe and thriving within the wider DCU umbrella.

To be honest, making a Green Lantern series is a really bad idea, even with Guy already being in the DCU. We could've used the show to introduce a new character, like Martian Manhunter, with a True Detective-style approach

It’s supposed to be horrifying, but I just can’t take it seriously how he’s just pushing him into his abs.

Hot take. Did not care for lanterns. Still like DC though
Honestly this felt like the captin marvelifcation for DC. I geunily dont see how one could like hal in this show unless its their introduction of him. Like he feels so different from any adaptation
Also hardly any green lantern suits.

The Brave and the Bold This is what I want Batman to look like in the DCU
Like the title says, if DCU Batman looked exactly like this I'd be the happiest man alive, no tweaks necessary. Well maybe you could remove the cock protection but even that is something I wouldn't mind if it made over to the movies. I mean it makes sense that Batman would want to protect that are and it feels like a modern take on the trunks

If The Flash (2023) had been the final DCEU movie.
f Aquaman 2 had come out first, Flash could have ended with Barry waking up in a new timeline (the DCU), with a new actor playing him (maybe it could have been Grant Gustin, but with Blonde hair to infer a different/new/distinct version from the Arrowverse) showing perhaps a news report of Gorilla Grodd or another flash villain (with more comic accurate designs) attacking Central City. The film would end with him in an accurate flash costume, running through central city, mirroring the end of the flashpoint animated movie.
I feel this would have given the DCEU a conclusive ending, telling the general audience this is a new universe.
(Blue Beetle could have still released afterward with only minor changes as the only characters referenced in that movie are Batman and Flash (which both can have been operating for a few years and at least be somewhat known by the public, but doesn’t set up anything major)
Maybe James Gunn could have written a post credit scene teasing Superman 2025 (maybe a lighthearted daytime news report about superman, doing something like taking sick children on a tour around the world, like in all star superman as by this point they were already at the very least planning it, and as an indication of the tone of the new universe.
