i don't know if this is the right place for this question and frankly it might be a stupid question but im wondering if i can legally use lingo from the cyberpunk IP and cyberpunk in general in my own game that im making.

the game is heavily inspired by cyberpunk in terms of world and premise and has things like "ripperdocs" "netrunning" "smart weapons", "chrome" "soul chips" and probably some distinct pieces of cyberware like sandivestans and so on.

im not worried about it being called a cyberpunk 2077 clone since the two games are completely different (mine is a 2d pixel art rougelike), but i also don't want my game to be taken down from platforms and then having to rework everything which will take ages on top of the already long development process.

And cant they soulkill his corpse and revive him ? Hell i mean that seems like a better option as they dont lose the years of experience and they could just edit out anything they deem wrong with his personality making him even more of a lap dog AND THEY COULD STRAIGHT UP MAKE A SMASHER ARMY I MEAN THEY HAVE THE BUDGET AND AN EDITED BRAINSCAN .

Hey everyone, after the latest Edgerunners 2 trailer, I was wondering why there aren't any cool designs of Maelstrom girls that look like Maelstrom members. It's like people are afraid to draw a girl with scars. All the designs I've seen have no scars or cheap, junk implants. Why is that? They're my favorite gang in the game, and I'd like to see cool designs for more than just the men.

Just heard about the film being in development but the guy who is making it made madame web.

The first Edgerunners didn't look like it belonged in the game either but the designers constrained themselves stylistically to match the game. With the new series, they've given themselves more freedom and I don't like it.

I'm sure the series will be just as great as the previous one but this time I don't think my brain will be able to treat it as something happening in the same Night City I roamed around in the game.

I'm only a few hours in the game and I'm trying to find out how the heck I'm supposed to survive when every single side quest I try to do gets me killed in less than 30 seconds!

I get loaded with all kinds of stuff to do but none of it is possible.

I try to go and neutralize a Cyberpsycho, she goes invisible and hands my ass to me on a silver platter in 3 seconds flat.

I try to do a Gig, and then after doing it, the moment I get into my car, I get ambushed by an army of goons with skulls on their healthbars. Probably means they're leagues above my level.

I try to do a fight club thing in Kabuki, they charge a ridiculously high fee just to start it. Way more than what I have. What the heck???

I love it. Johnny’s “Oh, Fuck.” Is just so good. Legit made me laugh.

There's still some artifacting here and there but overall its a 8/10 for me now. Skin structure at 0.5, putting at 1 just makes the npcs look glossy. Also ghosting is not noticeable at all.

Gotta get a new monitor tho.. The 59hz refresh rate ain't doing this justice

So one of my friends wants to do a cyberpunk campaign but he wants to do it for d&d 5th edition which I think is a bad idea cuz he's already tried to do the some monster Hunter and it failed spectacularly with the monsters. Never feeling like a truly fun fight because d&d relies on action economy and wow monster Hunter. One big monster kind of makes the fight easy

But besides that, I remember that I back in the day played a little bit of the cyberpunk red system, but I need help finding resources. Is there any place where I could read over the material and have my friend set up their character sheets? Or some videos to help me understand the system so I can have my friends play it. Cuz I really do not want to turn this into another 5th edition campaign of something that already has a tabletop role-playing game

Just recently started listening to a podcast which started before the games release and this guys saying it's going to be the start of a new era. This really puts in to perspective why everyone was so mad when it first came out. (For context I didn't even know of Cyberpunk 2077 till 2.0)

I cannot find a single person that would also want to romance a maelstrom member, and there are no mods on it either, cyberpunk vanilla romance options for male v already suck enough, but not even a mod to get some chromed poon? Really breaking my balls, someone needs to make this, cause I have zero modding experience
