galleryI was rolling in my car and saw a house that was selling stuff, and That Beauty came into view. Don't know if it's rare but I'm so happy !

Hello, I made a reddit account just for this so hopefully someone can help me
I recently found a ct f2120s Panasonic on the streets, it looks in very good condition and I was able to talk to the ones who threw it out, they said it still worked, they just didn't need it anymore, so I took it with me on the bus to my house
Someone ripped the power cord off, most likely for the copper, I thought I could just use another cable but when they ripped it off they took the entire thing, only leaving the PCB pin that connected to it, so I was wondering if anyone could help me find a replacement for it so I can give this CRT a new life

Gave this tv a second chance at life, it was thrown into a big giant recycling bin and the worker let me take it for free. Made my day.

I’m going to pickup this Sony rear projection crt on Sunday but the seller says that it has a faint rainbow streak on top of the screen just looking if anyone might know what could be causing it and how to fix it

Earlier today, I went to a locally owned thrift store where I found this 1987 Sony PVM-1271Q for a total of $33. It does work, but I had to adjust the settings a little bit to correct the picture, and there was a tiny bit of burn-in on the tube itself. However, the burn-in is so faint that it's only really visible on blank black screens.

Hi! I’m trying to connect my nintendo switch to my sony trinitron crt and it seems like i just keep getting pulled back and forth. every listing i come up on says RCA to HDMI, even when i search the opposite. I have all the cords, i only need the adapter. I’ve attached my exact crt model number as well. Can anybody point me in the right direction? I’m hoping to spend around $20. thanks!!!

First time ever posting on Reddit, be gentle on me.
So I’m a dumb dumb just doin my best to bring the magic of my childhood into my kids childhood and I’m out of my element here. Can someone help me trouble shoot? One channel plays sound with severely broken and distorted picture (kinda cool), the other channel plays a better picture but still a little broken, b&w, and no sound.
What am I doing wrong here? Is it a problem with the tv? The coax cable? The modulator? The RCA cords?
help please 🙏🏻

I was just watching The Urge's music video of Jump right in, and I noticed this crt in the corner of the music video. I think it's one of those JVC ball crts.
Anyways I think it's cool that an odd shaped crt is in a music video.

Google tells me the G2 needs a fine adjustment down for the retrace lines. As a novice, how spooky/dangerous is this?

I’ve had this Lightning McQueen TV for a while now but since I brought it in from my shed it hasn’t worked and I’ve tried using a different VCR and different cables and I still can’t get it to work everything works on it but when I try to change the channels there is only one per reception does anyone know what could be wrong with it or if I could take it anywhere to get it fixed

Today, I got a free Toshiba 32A35 from a customer (older lady) while at work. She lives in an old house built in 1920 and the TV was on the second floor, all the way at the end of the hall. If anyone is familiar with older homes, everything is smaller and narrower. Bringing the TV down the stairs alone in the narrowest curved staircase was a struggle but I got it down. Then fitting it into my garbage truck was tricky. Had to lift it over my head to get it in and I wiggle it around to get the passenger door to close. Sorry, no pictures on any of that, I don’t use my phone while I work to stay vigilant as I drive. I do have pictures of loading it up onto my Goldwing. Had videos of my ride home but I don’t know how to upload them. I have a 30 minute commute one way but I decided to take a longer, less traversed route (50 minute ride home) to avoid semi trucks so that they wouldn’t push me while passing on the opposite side of the road. With all my typical work bags and then with the tv in the pillion seat, the rear weighed more than I do and would lift the front wheel just enough to cause death wobbles at higher speeds. Had to stand a good amount to get as much weight as possible to the footpegs. TV also acted like a wind sail. Today was raining all day and quite windy so I would slide here and there. Made it home, opened it up, cleaned it, and now brought it downstairs to my basement. Trick now is figuring out where I’m going to put it. Doesn’t fit in entertainment center.

I scored this at an estate sale for near nothing (unfortunately the disc tray doesn’t eject/work) and would like a remote to go with it. I bought an original DC-FN20S off eBay which I believe went with it, however I think the seller lied about the controllers condition as only the power, eject, and channel buttons work, no volume unfortunately.

Hello everyone, does anyone has any ideas on where to get either just the shell or a non-functional CRT TV? In the bar area preferably?
We need one for a theatre production that we can retrofit with lighting, etc. They are so popular right now, but I know there must be broken ones somewhere online.
Thanks!
Hi everyone,
I have three Sony KV-20WS1x TVs, and when I'm using an HDMI-to-Composite converter, I can only get a black and white image.
With the same adapters, I can get color with my KV-16WT1x and my other TV sets.
I'm in EU and my TVs are all PAL. But I don't understand why only the KV-20WS1x can't display colors.
Do you have a reference of a good HDMI to PAL adapter available in europe? I assume mines are very low quality.
Thank you much :)

I have an unmodded Xbox 360 S connected to my Sony PVM-20M4U with a component cable and use it with the official remote control. Plex stopped working for me this year, but the 360 still supports:
Do any of you guys have both a PS3 and an Xbox 360? If so, how do they compare?
