This is what I desperately want to believe. But I knew a girl, many years ago, who considered herself an artist. She essentially made underwear out of dead fish. She wore this at a small exhibit and said it was a statement on female empowerment. Totally serious too. When a review came out that called out this 'art,' she took so much LSD she checked herself into the local mental hospital.
