I got fed up of reaching for the keyboard, so I made my PC work like a console from the sofa
Couch PC gamers will know the pain: something pops up, a game opens on the wrong screen, Discord needs a mouse, and suddenly you're digging the keyboard out from under a cushion.
I made CouchKit so I'd never have to. Double-tap the Xbox button and you get a proper console-style guide over the game. You can answer Discord calls, check achievements, turn the game down so you can hear your mates, switch games, take screenshots and see your PC's temps, all with the D-pad. Pop-ups are big enough to actually read from across the room.
It's free and open source (a Playnite add-on): https://dancharlton9.github.io/CouchKit/
There's a 50-second video on the site if you want to see it in action. Let me know what you'd want it to do next!
