Hey everyone!

I’m from Cologne, I’m a startup founder myself, and on October 22nd I’m organizing my very first event (it is free of course) together with STARTPLATZ at Mediapark. Thought I’d share it here in case some of you are interested!

The idea is pretty simple: Up to six startups will bring their products or apps, and anyone can come by, try them out for free, and give some feedback.

I’ve been to quite a few startup events myself, and honestly, I feel like there are already enough events where you just sit around listening to pitches and presentations. So I wanted to organize something a bit different, where people can actually try things out and talk directly to the people who built them.

And you definitely don’t need to be a developer or have anything to do with startups to join. Actually, feedback from

people outside the tech bubble is often the most valuable!
There will also be free pizza and drinks, so at least you won’t leave hungry :)

The event takes place on Thursday, October 22nd, from 6 to 9 PM at STARTPLATZ Cologne (Mediapark 5). It’s completely free to attend.

And if you’re currently working on an app or some other digital product yourself, you can still apply until Friday, October 16th at noon to showcase it. Just send me a message!

Since this is my first time organizing an event like this, I’m honestly pretty curious to see how it goes. Would be really cool to meet some people from this subreddit there! :)

This is my first time in Germany and I just came from the Techno party at Odonien. Felt super energetic with music and dance. Great people and great place.

Thanks cologne

Hallo,

Hi r/cologne!

My girlfriend is the biggest J. Cole fan I know, and there's an exclusive Germany-jersey-style shirt being sold at tonight's Cologne show. I'm in Munich and can't make it, but I'd love to surprise her with it.

If you're going tonight and could pick one up for me.I’ll of course cover the shirt and shipping, plus a little thank-you for your trouble.

Just send me a DM. Thanks a lot and enjoy the show!

Hey people,

I have seen a lot of people posting here about meeting cool people or meeting people over coffee or just meeting to have fun time. I would like to introduce you to socyl. We are working with a goal to bring back the IRL hangouts & to get rid of the social media bubble. I am really passionate about it and want to solve this problem of social isolation taking over people(not everyone but yes).

This is completely free to join. I just request you to bring some positive vibes. Just to let you know, this is something I am really working on passionately and even putting in some money being a student as I think it should be easier to socialize and meet new people. I don’t want it to die. In future, even if I gotta put some charge on it, I will try to keep it minimal and take out the required fees for organization, booking or maintenance. Please feel free to check it out and also leave your feedback.

Your feedback is very important so please leave your ideas/suggestions via the support button on the website or down in the comments. And check out the post below for the actual information.

Hallo zusammen

Danke euch! 😊

Does anybody know when one can but peyote cactus in Cologne?
