Found this in Kroger’s parking lot today face down it’s my first 2/50 dime I don’t carry cash on me very often so I don’t get these. I just happen to look down and there is staring at me yelling at me to pick me up.

I especially love the edges, a key feature impossible to appreciate on slabbed coins.

Somebody is going to make bank after these auctions end.

This is just the beginning of the collection inherited from grandpa. many of the gold pieces 2.5, 5, 10, and 20 dollar are made into jewelry. We plan on keeping pieces for sentimental value, but does mounting coins like this completely sack any collectible value?
Thanks!
Buddy is asking 200. I said I'll think about it. It'll be my earliest American coin. Ty!

So I had a type set that I sold to pay for my daughter’s college education. In that collection I had a 20 cent piece. I’m now working on a new type set that I’m starting for our grandchild who is a newborn. I just replaced that 20 cent piece. By the time they go to college I’ll be at Gabriel’s Gate but it’s fun putting a new type set together.

Asked if they had any old coins at my bank they said someone came in with a jug full the other day. I got 4 Morgan's 6 silver quarters including a barber amd standing liberty and 2 bucks of Roosevelt and mercury dimes. The carson city is my gem from it

Let's see where everyone lands on this one.
Take a look at both sides of this 1885 Morgan. What grade would you give it, and what's the first thing you're looking at to make that call?
We'll share the certified grade later in the comments.

Not sure if sellers are keeping up with the trend but saw Lenin 50 Korun going for 500 cad, any website where someone could get it cheaper, I look on eBay but very expensive for only 7 grams of silver.

Not sure exactly how to tell. If anyone has tips on how to tell or what to look for that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I purchased this 1893cc for a good price, It’s going to be a gift for a friend so I just wanted to see if it looks good. I’m sure that it’s silver but I was wondering if the mint mark or date had maybe been altered, I can take more photos if necessary. Thanks

I’ve seen NGC First Releases on Silver Eagles, and since my earlier collections have that designation, I’m now thinking about whether to keep the same designation going with my next coin. At the same time, I’m not sure if it’s worth making that part of what I look for when I preorder, especially when the issue and grade are already the same.
How do you guys feel about this when choosing a presale? Does consistency across the set matter enough to decide ahead of release, or is it something you'd sort out later?

I can't decide whether to submit this to PCGS for grading. I am guessing it's MS64-MS65, and has iridescent toning on both sides. 1936 is a common date, which is why it's been sitting in a Dansco album for 25 years. Any suggestions?
