This is my 1953 3100 Ice Cream Truck. It has been selling Ice Cream since being purchased new in 1953 by my Grandfather. It is still a work truck and stills has kids chasing it.
Taking Guesses on what the appraisal comes back at (Insurance reasons) due to the historical significance / prominence. It's an original Amerio built truck (have the receipt) and has local area prominence as there's a monument with my Grandfather and the truck when he hit the 50 year mark at the state perk selling Ice Cream.

My father is looking to sell his GMC C2500, I don't really know anything about classic trucks so I'm helping him do some research so he give an accurate sale price to potential buyers. We're not selling yet, I'm just helping lay the groundwork.
I start it once a week just to make sure it's still running. I have more pictures of it from different angles and inside the cab and engine, and I can provide those if needed. I tried to attach two more photos of the cab and engine but Reddit wouldn't let me for some reason.
Here is a feature list:
Based on the description, images, and features, can anyone help me estimate what it might be worth?

My cousin bought a 1972 Ford F-100 and noticed fluid coming out of the rear driver side axle. We both have limited knowledge working on vehicles but this is a project for him and he wants to learn some things for himself. We pulled out the axle shaft and removed the axle seal. To my untrained eye it looks like that wheel bearing is shot and needs to be replaced. My question is, what is the best way to find the correct part number, and what is the best way to replace that bearing. He mentioned cutting the old one off and buying a press to put the new one on. The rear axle is the ford 9 inch if we are not mistaken. Thanks for the help in advance, I know I might sound stupid asking this

I recently picked up this 1979 GMC Sierra Grande 2500 long bed, and I’m pretty excited to get home and start working on it. I’m currently deployed overseas, so I’ve got plenty of time to plan out what I want to do with it before I can get my hands on it.
It currently has a running small-block 350 SBC paired with an SM465 manual transmission. My original thought was to rebuild the 350 and swap in a different transmission, but I recently came across a pretty good deal on a big-block 454 BBC paired with a TH400, including the headers, exhaust, and other drivetrain components.
Now I’m seriously considering going the 454 route instead. 😂 There’s just something about having a big ol’ 454 under the hood of a square-body C2500 that I love.
The plan is to eventually do a full restoration, including media blasting, cleaning up the frame, and repainting it in its original factory color. I want to keep the truck looking mostly OEM while building a solid drivetrain that I can enjoy for years.
For those of you who have done a 454 swap into a 1973–1987 C2500, is it worth going with the big-block and TH400? Anything I should look out for before pulling the trigger? I’d love to hear your experiences and recommendations!
Can’t wait to get back home and start this project. 🤙

I’ve had this truck since April now, trying to figure out if this sound system works lol and I bought a classic cassette tape to try, I bought an 8 Track to try, and none of those fit into this dashboard media area lol, anyone have any ideas? A-Venture 100.. smaller than a cassette size?

Not sure if she was born a ranger but she is badged as one, has the ranger interior and the square headlights, but doesn’t have the body trim.
Also running a rebuilt 460

I have a 1988 ford ranger and yesterday I tried to change my oil for the first time since the last time a mechanic had it they put conventional in and I want my synthetic back. I know I’m weak but no matter what I tried I couldn’t get my drain plug out, and yes the ratchet was set to left. There also wasn’t enough room under the truck to use my breaker bar, and I can’t afford ramps. Does someone have a miracle tip/trick or am I out of luck?
