This is my 1953 3100 Ice Cream Truck. It has been selling Ice Cream since being purchased new in 1953 by my Grandfather. It is still a work truck and stills has kids chasing it.

Taking Guesses on what the appraisal comes back at (Insurance reasons) due to the historical significance / prominence. It's an original Amerio built truck (have the receipt) and has local area prominence as there's a monument with my Grandfather and the truck when he hit the 50 year mark at the state perk selling Ice Cream.

Y’all convinced me to bump the timeline up, so the old 2-speed Powerglide is getting its retirement papers this winter. We’ll be swapping her over to a manual — something my grandpa always wanted to do but never got around to. Feels pretty fitting that we get to finish that one for him.

Looking for my first “classic” car. Which of these 2 would YOU prefer? Which is more “reliable? Or sought after. Any opinions would be awesome

I recently sold my ’67 Eldorado and am looking for my next classic. I’ve always had a soft spot for the ’77–78 Eldorados, but I know they have a bit of an “old guy in a cowboy hat driving a massive land yacht” image. I’m 45, and as much as I hate to admit it, that stereotype is making me hesitate.

I feel the same way about the Lincoln Mark IV and V. They’re distinctive cars with loads of character, and to me, they represent the last of the old-school American land yachts. Still, they don’t seem to get the same love as cars from the ’60s and early ’70s.

Here in Norway, there’s currently a ’77 for sale for around $7,600 and a ’78 for about $7,500, so they’re tempting.

What do you think of this generation of Eldorado? Have they grown on you over the years, or do you still see them as oversized cars from an era when things were heading downhill?

My grandfather unfortunately passed away yesterday and my brother and I decided we wanted to try and track down his pride and joy. Unfortunately these are the only 2 photos we could find right now and the only info we have on it is that it had a Ford IFS conversion and he sold it near Brighton MI in the early to mid 90’s.

can anyone identify this roadster? The blurry-ass photo was taken around 1936 or 1937. I'm trying to find another, better shot. Don't look too close, all you'll see are pixels. TIA

Saw this clean one northbound i5 in Carlsbad. Someone told me long ago this was supposed to be the new Mustang but when word got out it was FWD current Mustang owners and fans wrote so many letters to Ford saying they would never buy another Ford product they called it the Probe and went to work on the SN95.

I got to see this car a few days ago and went back to see it again today while it’s still on display. It’s a 1960 Impala Sport Coupe in Cascade Green with Ermine White accents. Under the hood lurks a 340 HP 348 that’s mated to a four on the floor Chevy T-10 transmission. This classic was restored to near-perfect factory specs and has won the top AACA and VCCA awards. Pictures don’t do justice to the Cascade Green finish. It’s a breathtaking vehicle to see in person.
