in search of🔎 Any family friendly pumpkin patches?

Hey neighbors!
My family and I are looking for a pumpkin patch to visit this weekend. More adults and kids ranging from 2-9 years old. Are there any pumpkin patches that have activities, hay rides, and pumpkins for us to carve without breaking the bank?

I know of no adult only pumpkin patches 🫤 I guess I was insinuating friendly for adults to partake in fun activities 😂

Jobs/Career Where do you go to network professionally around Cincinnati?

I’m currently a Product Manager and looking to expand my professional network, meet people in the local tech/business community, and be learn about opportunities for career growth.

I’m curious what groups, meetups, events, or organizations people have had good experiences with. I’m open to tech-focused networking, general business groups, or anything that brings together people who enjoy talking about what they do and sharing ideas.

I’d also be interested in hearing how people have successfully used networking to find their next role or take the next step in their career.

Any recommendations or personal experiences would be appreciated!

my grandmother is 70 and worked for cps as security guard since she was a teenager. it’s her only experience and she’s looking for a job. she does want to be on her feet in her role. because of her age she’s having trouble finding work! anything will help. she likes early shifts, she says all of the jobs she’s seeing are late shifts. she’s located near downtown cincinnati

in search of🔎 physician recc at St Elizabeth?

Can anyone recommend a specific (preferably female) physician at st Elizabeth? I’ve been going to the bellevue location and have not been impressed with the treatment I’ve been getting, but now I’m struggling with a resistant yeast infection after taking antibiotics (I’m talking months at this point) and I am looking for a competent Dr that can help. Gyno recommendations helpful too but i still need a good primary care dr.

Editing to say I’m self employed and don’t have insurance. I’ve used st E bc they’ve always given me assistance but I’m open to trying other hospitals that do a self pay discount/financial aid

Politics ✔ I'm so sick of this pos (Eric Deters) using the pain & suffering of Atiq Durrani patients for his gain.

Deters uses our pain for his gain. Last time, he was at Children's protesting "for Durrani victims" when it was his attention seeking bs for political office run. Now he is trying to get help on his tax issues. Deters uses us as pawns once again by acting like he's trying to help us. He wasn't paying for access about the case. He was paying to get help with his tax & legal issues. Again. Again. Again. Let us move on without your ptsd triggering tactics for your own personal gain. Deters, everyday most of us live in debilitating pain, our lives destroyed. stop retraumatizing us every time you want attention, need a payday, or help with your tax/ legal issues. Just stop.

in search of🔎 Where do you go to get your Chevrolet serviced?

I'm in the Sharonville area, but don't mind to take it wherever. It is in warranty. My dad used to take care of this stuff and I get that I can just Google the questions but prefer to ask the general public. Also, will pricing be the same at each dealership?

Food 🍕🌮 Thanksgiving carry out advice

I’m traveling in from out of town to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday. Our local hosts will already be overwhelmed with their guests. I’m thinking carry out might be the best solution to still have a nice thanksgiving dinner.

I see carry out bundles available from:
Seasons52
Eat well (Newport)
Greyhound Tavern (Fort Mitchell)

We’d be looking to feed 6 adults and 2 kids. Does anyone have experience ordering ahead from these places/carrying out, and can speak to the quality of the meal and if it was enough for you or if you had enough for leftovers.

Thank you!

Community 🏙 Looking for a fraternal organization with an active, middle-aged membership

I’m taking the male loneliness epidemic seriously, yall

I’m interested in joining a fraternal organization: Elks, Moose, Eagles, Odd Fellows, Masons, whatever. I’m open to pretty much anything.

The biggest factor for me is the membership. I’m 50, and I’d like to find a group with an active contingent of guys in the 45–55 age range. Not looking for a lodge where I’m the youngest guy by 20 years.

Ideally, somewhere on the east side of Cincinnati.

Anyone belong to one of these organizations or know of a lodge with a good community? Particularly interested in places where members actually get together regularly and build friendships, rather than just paying dues and attending occasional meetings.

in search of🔎 Corn mazes/fall fests

My friends and I (all 25) are looking for a fun corn maze this weekend. I’ve been researching a lot of them but it’s hard to tell how good they are from online. We want one that is open late and feels challenging, not one aimed at littles. Any suggestions? It would also be nice if it was on a farm that had other things like food/drinks/pumpkins/animals/etc, not just the maze. Thanks! Also preferably one that is open late!

Travel/Visiting Question about bridges

I am flying into the Cincinnati airport on Thursday evening around 6pm. I’m renting a car and have to drive to the Mason area. My problem: I’m afraid of driving over bridges (this is a true fear, please don’t make fun of me). I can see from the maps that I can’t avoid a bridge, but it looks like I have several options. Can any (kind, caring soul) recommend the best route for the shortest, lowest bridge? The higher off the water and the longer the bridge, the scarier it is for me. I don’t mind adding time to my trip. Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

**Edit to add a huge thank you for the prompt, very helpful responses. And especially for not making fun of me. Sincerely. Thank you.
