in search of🔎 Corn mazes/fall fests
My friends and I (all 25) are looking for a fun corn maze this weekend. I’ve been researching a lot of them but it’s hard to tell how good they are from online. We want one that is open late and feels challenging, not one aimed at littles. Any suggestions? It would also be nice if it was on a farm that had other things like food/drinks/pumpkins/animals/etc, not just the maze. Thanks! Also preferably one that is open late!

Irons fruit farm is pretty much this! It’s not just for kids, although obviously there are a decent amount of them bc of the nature of the event. And the maze is pretty big and elaborate. Pumpkin patch. And u-pick days too bc they are an actual orchard. They have cider, cider donuts, pies/baked goods, and jams, food for purchase, usually some mediocre-ish (but not unenjoyable) live music on weekends. It’s in Lebanon.

I have done their corn maze several times & it can be very challenging.

I think Tom’s Maze in Germantown is the most challenging maze I’ve done as an adult. It’s also open until 10 on Friday and Saturday. It is a bit farther away.
Niederman Farm is open til 9pm most nights. I don’t recall it being the most challenging corn maze (there is also an optional kid-oriented scavenger hunt in the maze, in case you would want to avoid something like that), but you can do it after it gets pretty dark. There are some farm animals, a hayride, and yard games.
Hidden Valley Orchard is fun, with live music and lots of places to get food or drinks across the grounds. While they certainly have a lot of kid attractions, they might have the most activities oriented towards adults on this list. They’re open to 9pm on Thurs-Sat. I actually haven’t done their maze, so I can’t speak to that, but it’s fun to hang out there in the evenings. They have cute farm animals and other activities/events, like apple picking, hayrides, movie nights, and music bingo. HVO is also very close to Grandma’s Gardens (fun to look around) and Windmill Farm Market (a little pricey but bumpy/muddy hayride, if that’s of interest).
Waynesville Fall Fest is also great, although not open late. One year, I got through the maze in about 5 minutes. One year, it took about half an hour — so ymmv. The mini golf and foot golf/disc golf are fun! Instead of a hayride, they have a large jeep that goes through the woods.

As someone who just went to blooms and berries please listen to me: if I was with my friends with kids or had younger siblings or kids of my own I would think it’s great. Their market is great. They take good care of their animals. But it is kid city. And there’s no u-pick pumpkins. And there’s very very limited food to eat. And I like children so please no one come after me lol but it’s just so family-oriented I don’t think a group of 25 yr olds would have the best time.

Waynesville fall fest is a little out of the way but it’s a ton of fun. Difficult corn maze, putt putt, pedal cars, plenty of stuff for adults

Our favorite is Neiderman farm. Ton of fun activities, large corn maze, food, drinks, all stuff. You can even rent a bonfire pit there.

Hidden Valley orchard is my pick for adults, haven’t been this year to know about the corn maze. However, they have food and several bars. Usually a great time on weekends. These places are all weather dependent though
