How quiet is it really? Is the Chilipad loud? (asking for light sleepers and partners)

My partner is a pretty light sleeper- can’t fall asleep with much of any noise. We can never sleep with the windows open because of the noise. I was worried, but it’s so quiet it doesn’t bother him at all.
