Is it still worth going?
I was really looking forward to my first Navy Pier Open Air show but am not nearly as interested in Aragon Ballroom. Should I just request a refund for now and wait for another opportunity?

Whether you're ISO tickets or selling, post here or risk having your post locked and removed for breaking subreddit rules.
We are getting way too many BST posts in the main sub and we need to keep them contained here.
Please share the price you're selling for in your post and mark your post sold.
Buyers, sort the thread by New Posts to see the most recent comments and filter older, sold comments to the bottom.
Edit: so it seems that people are illiterate and continue posting outside of this post for tickets. Enjoy your ban.

If you live in Chicago and are a registered voter, you will have this question on your ballot in the upcoming midterm election. "Should Chicago develop a permanent festival and outdoor event space for large-scale events?" This is a non-binding resolution, so its outcome doesn't directly change anything. However, the more support this resolution gets, the more likely it is that the city takes action in making the festival space a reality.
The end goal of this resolution is to have a permanent festival area that can be used year round with permanent stages, buildings, food courts, bathrooms, and more. Lots of cities have spaces like this, a great example being Henry Maier Festival Park, the home of Summerfest in Milwaukee. Their event space brings in over $200 million a year directly to the city of Milwaukee. Given Chicago is a much bigger and more popular city, the amount of revenue it will bring in will be way more. Festivals will also be cheaper to throw since there will be way less setup per event.
In addition, this will protect our other city parks. Chicago hosts more than a dozen large festivals every year, and each festival takes at least a couple weeks for setup and recovery. The end result is often the parks being absolutely destroyed afterwards. With a dedicated event space, we can keep most of these parks clear all summer long for locals to enjoy.
Finally, a dedicated festival space like this will just elevate the Chicago festival experience for everybody. Permanent stages will ensure the most optimal setup for every fest, and dedicated bathrooms, as opposed to porta pottys, will make the events that much nicer for us. In addition, the permanent space will allow corporate sponsors, which will allow the city to have more cheap and free events.
This potential space will be great for Chicago, its economy, and all its citizens. I encourage everyone on this sub to vote for it if eligible, and to spread the word.

Goin up there in November for Sullivan King. I've been to the Aragon Ballroom, Wintrust Arena, and Cobra Lounge for other shows....but this is the first time going to both Radius and an EDM show. Not new to concerts by any means, just the first at this location and of this style/genre so a lil nervous. Anything I need to know?
First off, the location. Is it safe enough in that area to walk/bike in that area? Does anyone know if there's a safe spot to chain a bike to? I plan on staying nearbyish and didn't know if it would be ok to walk or bike back along Cermak after the show. I was gonna pack along my lil BMX bike to get around the area while exploring.
Secondly, the show itself. At risk of sounding stupid and uncultured, but what can I expect? I'm used to shows with a lot of moshing, walls of death, and crowd surfing...does that happen at these? Or
Thanks for any input!

I am curious how folks are paying for shows that average $100 nowadays. A full 2 day festival is $300 a lot times. Half of these shows are about half price of a full festival.
Are people not complaining?

Hi all, help a dummy out please.
I moved from out of state where I had a home venue I went to all the time. This was in a state that required a car to go literally anywhere.
I was hoping that Bass Station would be my new haunt. However, I just got rid of my car as I live downtown and basically was paying $300 a month to use it once or maybe twice.
However, now I'm in a pickle re Waukegan. How exactly do you get there without a car? I saw there's the UP-N train but 2.5 hours seems kind of insane for one way. I also feel like a 1 hour Uber would be cost prohibitive especially for the round trip.
Any tips/tricks? I don't know anyone here (who would be interested in going) unfortunately so no one to split rideshares with ☹️ Thank you!!

Hello!
Free vip ticket to her Friday show! I’m just gonna give it away for free because I can’t go due to being sick. I would rather have somebody take it and enjoy it instead of going to waste.

I’m seeing subtronics on the 17th (yay!!) but I’m also Im currently in a walking boot and need to use a knee scooter when standing/walking for extended periods of time (boo!!). Have any of you had experience and/or difficulties getting in with your mobility aids and accessing to ADA viewing areas at packed shows? I’ve been to Radius more times than I can count but have never had to deal with the logistics of limited mobility. Any and all info is welcomed and appreciated :)

I'm cool with a cover charge, just don't want to pay close to $100 just for entry.

I’m going to my first show at navy pier on Saturday- Deadmau5 open air. I’m coming from the southwest suburbs, so I’m planning on taking the metra. What time could this show realistically end? I’m just worried about missing the 12:30am train and ending up stuck in the city. Also, what time should I plan to arrive there if the ticket says 5pm?
