Dark sorcery. They already have October and are now shortening September in order to expand. 😔

  • The Penelopiad
  • Death With Interruptions
  • Mort
  • 2010 Odissey
  • The Summer Book
  • Summer Fishing in Lapland

... And I'll try Between Two Fires.

The House of Doors is on my waitlist, but my library's system doesn't tell you how long the line is.

But gosh. Past me is laughing right now. I thought I was gonna go all out in September and then have a lighter October. At least most of these are on the shorter side! The TBD runner up better not tempt me!! 🤧

October is so stacked! Unfortunately I'm moving this month so I will likely be focusing on the reads I'm helping run (Katabasis, Of Empires & Dust, Ana & Din). I've got The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay, Death with Interruptions, Mort, The Bacchae, The Penelopiad, Between Two Fires, Knightmare Arcanist, and Summer Fishing in Lapland all on the backlog!

Good luck with the move!!

I’m having a clear out month after a busy September, so just picking up Death With Interruptions and The Bacchae this month and catching up on the things I missed! I have London Falling and I’m Not Going Anywhere on deck, plus The Blue Castle!

I'm interested in practically all of them!

  • Between Two Fires (Horror)

  • The Penelopiad (Female Author)

  • The Summer Book (Read the World)

  • Summer Fishing in Lapland (Read the World)

  • The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay (Evergreen)

  • Death With Interruptions (Discovery Read),

  • Murder at Spindle Manor (Runner-up Read)

  • The Lion's Tusk (Bonus Book)

  • A Trade of Blood (Bonus Book)

  • The Bacchae (Bonus Book)

This is terrible. I'll never get to them all!

Oh I hear this! My reading has tanked lately too as I am commited to more IRL stuff. I am not really able to adjust my expectations with what is realistically possible for one person to achieve.....so the pile/list/backlog just keep growing
