I was surprised that the first result for The Summer Book was a DVD for the movie! Might have to check that out afterward.

tove jansson is proper sharp about people tbf, even when she is writing about a tiny rock in the middle of nowhere.

I recently read The Summer Book so I might lurk in the discussions to see what everyone thinks of it. I loved it!
I thought there were no copies available of Summer Fishing in Lapland in the US on any platform I tried... until I saw it is also published under the title Fishing for the Little Pike. So glad to know about that title! Thanks for the heads up!!
