Malaysia - The House of Doors/ The Letter [Schedule] Read the World - Malaysia - The House of Doors by Tan Twan Eng & The Letter by W. Somerset Maugham

Hello and welcome to the schedule for our next destination for Read the World - Malaysia! We will be reading The House of Doors by Tan Twan Eng AND The Letter by W. Somerset Maugham, a short story with a connection to the novel.

The Letter can be found in several W. Somerset Maugham short story collections - The Casuarina Tree is one and Short Stories is another. I believe it is available only for Canadian readers on Gutenberg. An audio version of it can be found here.

I'm going to try to join this one! My library has the audiobook, so I have no excuse šŸ˜… Plus, always down to learn more about my neighboring country
