Odd post and not too sure if it’s even allowed, but I genuinely don’t have any friends. I only talk to my husband and my Miichii so ya know.

I just wanted to show everyone my baby. I got her at 2 months old in August of 2025. When I got her, I was sure that I would quit my job and never leave the house again. Genuinely, I was so unhappy with myself and everything around me that I saw no point in living.

Then one day, my husband and I went in for litter for Jack (our other baby) at Petco. I went up to the cat adoption center as you do at Petco or Petsmart and this little void pranced up to me with her tail in a curl. She “ppprrrrtttt”-ed at me and flopped over to her back. She showed me her tummy, rubbed against the glass, talked to me, looked at me like she was in love. I inquired about her at the counter and they told me not to adopt her since she had a cold and needed to be seen by a vet.

I left the store for a few hours, but I could not stop thinking about her and the way she looked at me. The way it felt like she was perfect for me, so I went back. I greeted her again and it was the same, she was so insanely happy and I knew i had to take her home.

I paid and she came home with me and we’ve been inseparable ever since.

I immediately put a harness on her the moment she recovered and fit in one, she loves car rides and going out with mom and dad. She talks to me, never leaves my side, it’s like she knows what I need exactly when I need it.

She’s made me realize that I could never be alone and I should never feel lonely because she’s always looking for me and looking forward to seeing me. She’s made me realize how pretty I am, because I see myself in her beautiful eyes and I love how I look in them.

I know this whole post may sound selfish, my cat does this for me, my cat does that for me— I know. I wish I could tell my girl how much she means to me in words she understands other than feeding her and getting her things that she likes. I wish I could tell her that I am absolutely in love with her and appreciate everything she has ever done for me. I’m literally crying typing this out.

She’s a year and a half now, I wish time would go by slower so we could spend even more time together.

Yes, I did end up taking her to a vet shortly after getting her. She’s perfectly healthy now!

My beautiful tiny baby Jeez had four teeth removed and her teeth scaled. She is in no pain, enjoying plenty of lil soup and squeeze tube for the next few weeks!

First 4 photos are Jeezy stoned, 5th pic is her fangs, and final pics are her when she's not high at all hehehe. 🤭🤭 I'll miss those big fangs!!

I wanted to share this for anyone getting their kitty's teeth pulled or cleaned, having anxiety about it like I was.

Below is a thorough recap of our dental experience:

She had developed alevolar osteitis and her body was pushing her fangs out of her little skull (pic 5). I check my cats teeth usually every 3ish weeks to see if anything is going on, and the alevolar osteitis went from 0 to 100 within just a few weeks. They also took two small premolars that had pocketing around her gums. They fixed the protruding alevolar bone too, and she is expected to have no issue chewing, drooling, playing, or anything else.

Total cost was $1500, Pittsburgh area. I went to Avalon Veterinary Hospital, they were AMAZING!! HIGHLY recommend.

We knew there was something wrong because of bad breath, the swollen alevolar bone, her fangs appeared to be growing long, and her gum line being slightly red.

Our vet recommended a water additive that helps dental, and we will begin using this when Jeez is fully healed. My other two cats do not have dental issues, so this will be preventative for them.

I know there's a lot of discussion online about fear of removing their cats teeth/getting them cleaned because of the risks of anesthesia; my Jemmy girl here took it like a champ. She got blood work done ahead of time to confirm she was healthy enough, and her total anesthesia was 2 hours for all 4 teeth pulled, sutured, microchip, and a little sanitary trim.

My cousin has worked between two shelters for 4 years, she said only once has she seen anesthesia kill an animal. It was puppies with parvo that sadly just did not wake up. She has never seen any other animal, healthy or unhealthy, die from anesthesia. Of course there are horror stories, but this is not as common as you'd think. They checked Jeez's blood and made sure she was healthy enough for anesthesia. Thankfully, nothing else is wrong, just her teeth!

Do not be afraid to get your kitty the help they need. This is routine, and your experienced vet will know exactly what to do. It breaks my heart my little black cat was in pain, but she's going to have a long happy life, even without her fangs!! 😝🤞🖤

So she proceeds to launch herself through my window screen into a giant muddy pool of water. A lesson was learned today.

This sweet boy was dumped at a farm a couple days ago. He's found his forever home now.

This is Logan. He loves to steal my seat. It's one of his favorite things. And he is NOT happy when I relocate him.

Well I thought maybe its a warmth thing, so put this warming mat (that i bought months ago and has been ignored) on the sofa right next to me where he always wants to curl up before stealing my seat.

Well, he investigated a few times and refused to sit there and went behind the couch to pout until I removed it. Or hopped on the sofa arm to bap my forehead.

So I removed it and straight to his spot he went. OK.

Well, I had to get up to do something a bit later and I had an idea.....lol.

He sniffed it. He straddled it. He bapped it. But he would not sit on it. So as i observed this from the kitchen he turned to give me an annoyed glare, as he defeatedly returned to his own seat. Leaving mine, for me.

Love you buddy, lol.

Kennedy turned 10 years old this year. he could've gotten older... but he didn't. and i always hoped that he'd stay for a few more years... but he didn't. he died in his sleep yesterday, october 13th 2026, and fell off my bed as a result... i picked him up shortly after and he went limp in my arms... today we buried him in our garden next to our other deceased cats.. maybe they're all together now, who knows... if anyone asks me, we still have 5 cats. in our hearts, at least... the other cats will be devastated too once they fully realise (now they still seem more confused)

he's my baby. my little baby... my cuddle baby who would always start purring the second i touched his fur... who would always steal my arm and lie down on it every chance he got... who i often had full conversations with which nobody but us understood... or rather, i pretended to understand him.. i wish i could've...

rest in paradise, my baby...🖤 i will never forget you... i will never stop missing you... i will forever love you... i hope you can rest now... i hope you could feel my love for you, especially in your last moments... nothing will ever be the same again, it all feels so empty without you...
