🖤 Rain and Regret
Told this MF don't go outside while it's pouring, just sit in the window..
So she proceeds to launch herself through my window screen into a giant muddy pool of water. A lesson was learned today.

My Boy yells at me when it's raining out like somehow I'm responsible.
Then he checks every 'egress point' in the house and much to his chagrin, it's raining at everyone one of them which leads to him yelling at me louder.
Cat's gonna cat.

"I have seen you turn on the rain in the bathroom, hooman! That thing you call a shower. If you can turn off that rain, why cant you turn the one out there???"
Your cat

This probably isn't far from the truth.
He sits outside my bathroom door in the mornings and warns/admonishes/chastises me for my daily 'stepping into the water cube' ritual.

My friend has a lovely little Devon Rex whose favourite place to nap is in the armchair, but only when the sun shines on it.
That cat yells at my friend until eventually, thanks to the passing of time, the sun shines on the armchair. Thus, she thinks that yelling at mummy makes the sun shine on her armchair.
Cat logic.

My void does the same thing- runs back and forth between two doors hoping the weather is better at the other 😂

My girl would glare at me so fierce when the sky was wet at both the front and back doors. My fault, entirely lol!

I've had my cats yell at me to turn off the outside water.
"I can't do that" I tell them, from inside the shower where I have turned on the inside water.

I had a little black cat who made it her life’s mission to make it out my front door.
Unfortunately for her, I come from family well practiced in the ancient art of WATCH THE CAT, so it took literal years before she had a successful attempt.
My brother’s girlfriend at the time left the door open just a bit too long, and that’s all it took. She bolted out of the house like a bat outta hell, and straight into the snow pile.
She made it about four steps before deciding Outside was bullshit, and her zest for escape attempts dampened only slightly.

Our family cat isn’t allowed in the basement, so of course she tries at every opportunity.
One time it flooded pretty badly and in the rush she slipped past us and bolted down the stairs into stagnant water at the bottom and panic swam further into the room until she was rescued.
She has not tried to get into the basement since.

My void Lovecraft has been a Houdini most of his adult life. One time he darted outside, but stopped short as we were getting graupel (look it up - it's weird) and it short-circuited his furry little brain.

We walk our void often. He loves it. Hates rain, snow and any type of wind. Strange logic there lol

My void is a former feral who lived entirely on the streets before I caught her, got her fixed, and socialized. I also have a couple “regular” cats. My cats are mostly indoor only, but I have a fenced in backyard so I’ll let them out for a while (I supervise the entire time) if the weather is nice.
My void will not go outside unless I leave the door or a window open the whole time. Even with me standing right by the door and opening it as soon as she wants me to, she never wants to be outside unless she has 100% permanent access to coming back in.
I guess she remembers what outdoor life was like and has zero interest in returning to it.

One of my voids yells like it’s my fault when it’s raining another loves to run circles in the garden getting soaked through? He is a bit daft though

Oh I hope she's learned to keep herself inside the window screen from now on. I think it's so nice when cats can enjoy an open window to smell the neighborhood. I'm lucky my cat is content with just sniffing the world through the window screen and respects it like it's a solid, but an open door is still an issue

We bought a kitty buggy with a two story separate crate set up to take our void cats outside. One loves it, the other literally growls like a dog and tries to claw himself out. So we only do one now. The one who growls was the more adventurous of the two the few months we’d let them out supervised by 2 humans before we decided that was too dangerous for them. (Mean dog lives in neighborhood 3 mos out of the yr and one guy drives like a maniac even though we are at the end of a culdesaq).

I have a buggy for my little girl but she doesn't like it. The one we got is like an umbrella stroller so she doesn't have enough room to lay down and doesn't like sitting up while bumping around. I want to get her one that's more like a pram. So she can be her comfiest while riding around. I tried a harness and leash so she could explore but close enough I knew she was safe and she was not a fan at all.

I have two voids, one hates the rain never goes out but the other loves the rain, goes in the garden getting wet, never seen a cat do that before. But what is funny, he comes back fully drenched and tries to cuddle into the other dry void. Don't know if being a dxck or not

Had you just let her out the door like a normal person this would have never happened!!

Maybe I’m tripping but is this not AI? It’s looks like a drawing instead of a picture and the paws in the front look strange to me. One looks like a tail and then there’s two shadows, one dark then the other. The blanket in the background looks strange too. The comments are confusing me bc no one has mentioned this so maybe I’m wrong.

On the contrary, she’s a void, meaning exactly zero lessons were learned today and she will in fact do it again should the opportunity present

She looks like she somehow blames you for her choices lol
