🙏 Quick Update: Posts Should Be Flowing Again!

First of all, sorry to everyone whose post was held for review recently. 😅

A Reddit filter was catching many legitimate beta testing posts, which created delays and extra work for both users and moderators.

✅ I’ve reviewed and approved the backlog.

✅ I’ve also updated the subreddit settings to reduce false positives going forward.

If your post was delayed, thank you for your patience.

As always:

  • Be respectful
  • No spam
  • Keep posts relevant to beta testing, feedback, and product validation
  • Include a clear description of what you’re building and what feedback you’re looking for

💬 Also, our Discord community is growing fast and is a great place to get feedback, find testers, and connect with other builders:

https://discord.gg/AN8P9M9fp8

Thanks for helping make r/BetaTests a useful place for builders and testers alike! 🚀

[Linux/Windows] opentrainer – a native game trainer for single-player games (closed beta, 50 seats)

• Upvotes

Hi everyone, I’m looking for testers for opentrainer, a trainer for single-player games that runs natively on Linux and on Windows.

Heads up first

  • It’s a young project: about two weeks old, so expect bugs.
  • It was built with heavy AI assistance (Claude). I’m saying that up front so you know what you’re testing.
  • It’s a closed beta, capped at 50 testers, and it’s closed source for now. The beta has short terms you’ll see when you sign up.

What it does

  • Finds your running games and your Steam library, and lets you toggle cheats like infinite health or gold, or set an exact value.
  • Keeps cheats applied: if a game changes a value, it gets set again, and your profiles come back when you relaunch.
  • Finds a cheat’s address in several independent ways, so cheats survive restarts and many game updates. Unity IL2CPP games are handled by class and field name.
  • Studio lets you make your own cheats by scanning for values. Community lets you share them. Submissions are reviewed by hand and signed before anyone can download them.
  • It’s a native desktop app, not a browser tab.

Safety

  • Single-player only. It refuses to attach to games that have an anti-cheat loaded.
  • Community cheats are signed, and anything that runs code is flagged before you download it.

What I’d like from you

  • Try it on games you own and tell me what breaks. Tell me which games you’d like supported.
  • Report anything confusing in the UI.
  • The Windows build is newer than the Linux one, and I’ve only tested it with automated checks, not on a real Windows machine. Windows reports are especially welcome.
  • Linux needs WebKitGTK 4.1, and attaching to a game needs ptrace rights. The README explains both.

How to join: go to https://opentrainer.dev, claim a username, then download. It’s free. Feedback can go in the comments here or through the feedback link on the site.

Thanks for taking a look! I’ll answer every comment.

Waypoints: testing suburb, language and map navigation for a Melbourne services directory

• Upvotes

I'm building Waypoints, a Melbourne community-services directory: https://waypoints.au

The browsing interface has suburb and language filters, service categories, a map view and links to provider websites. Browsing is free, and providers aren't charged to be listed. You don't need to sign in to browse.

I'm looking for feedback on a small navigation task: choose a Melbourne suburb and a language, narrow the listings, then switch to the map. Can you tell what each filter changes, and can you find the provider's own website without hunting?

I'd especially appreciate knowing where the list and map feel disconnected, or where the language filter makes you expect something different from what the screen shows. Your device/browser and the step that confused you are enough.

Important limitation: listing accuracy and eligibility information still need work. Some records are community listings, and I can't claim every listing has been confirmed by its organisation. This is a navigation test, not a recommendation to rely on a listing for care or urgent help. Please confirm service details directly with the provider.

Please use a made-up scenario for testing and don't post personal health, address or other sensitive details. Honest criticism is welcome.

[Beta] Buna TV: IPTV player for Android TV / Google TV

Thumbnail
gallery
2 Upvotes

Hi all. If you like TiviMate-style players, a full-screen, remote-first app with a proper TV guide, I've been building one called Buna TV, and it's now in a closed beta on Google Play. I'm looking for people who'll use it as their everyday player for a couple of weeks and tell me what breaks or annoys them.

Why another IPTV player?

I wanted one that's fast and comfortable from the sofa and lets me set it up exactly how I like it, without ads, tracking or an account:

Built for the remote. Every screen works with a D-pad. Channel changes are quick, the guide stays readable from across the room, and you can hold OK almost anywhere for options.

Make it yours. Reorder channels and groups (it stays smooth even in groups with thousands of channels), rename or hide channels, build your own groups, set favourites, and remap the remote's buttons.

Private. No ads, no analytics, no account. Your playlists and logins stay on your TV.

Your setup is safe. Encrypted backups, with an optional passphrase, to the TV, a USB stick or a network share, so moving to a new box takes a minute.

What it does

* Live TV with a mini guide over the picture and a channel list you can browse while you watch

* Full TV guide (XMLTV) with search across every programme and on-screen reminders

* Catch-up and watch from the start, where your service supports it

* Recording now or scheduled from the guide, including whole series, to the TV, USB or SD card

* Multi-view: up to four channels at once

* Movies and series from your service, with Continue Watching and My List

* Parental lock for channels and groups with a PIN

Everything is unlocked during the beta.

You'll need an Android TV or Google TV device (Android 7 or later) and your own M3U playlist or Xtream Codes login from your TV service. Buna TV is a player only and doesn't include, sell or recommend any channels. If you just want to look around, there's a sample playlist of free, openly licensed test streams: https://bunatvplayer.com/sample-playlist.m3u

How to join

  1. Join the testers' group with the Google account your TV uses: https://groups.google.com/g/bunatv-beta
  2. Opt in: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.bunitv.player
  3. Install from the Play Store page, pressing Install and picking your TV: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bunitv.player (searching on the TV doesn't always find beta apps)

I'm especially interested in Shield, Chromecast with Google TV and cheaper boxes, big playlists, and anyone who uses catch-up, recording or heavy customisation.

Feedback here, or [support@bunatvplayer.com](mailto:support@bunatvplayer.com). Happy to answer anything.

Looking for 5 testers for my image translation app (Windows & macOS)

Hi everyone!

I'm the developer of Imagoo Image Translator, a desktop app for translating text inside images while preserving the original layout.

I'm looking for 5 people to try it out and share honest feedback.

The app is designed for people who work with translated images, such as e-commerce product listings, game assets, manga, and multilingual marketing materials.

A few things you can try:

  • Translate text inside images.
  • Edit translated text, fonts, colors, and positioning.
  • Process multiple images in batches.
  • Try the available local translation engine.

I'm offering 5 free activation codes to testers.

I'd especially appreciate feedback on:

  1. How accurate and natural the translations are.
  2. How well the original image layout is preserved.
  3. Which features or workflows need improvement.

Website: https://translate.imagoo.ai/

I'm the developer, and I'm happy to answer questions about the app. Thanks for helping me improve it!

This is an independent giveaway and is not sponsored or endorsed by Reddit.

I got tired of AI GMs forgetting my campaign, so I built one that keeps a persistent record. Looking for solo players to break it.

If you've tried running a solo campaign with ChatGPT or similar, you've probably hit the same wall I did. Around session three the AI forgets that you gave the lantern to your companion, that the innkeeper hates you, or that you already found the cellar door. You end up keeping a notes doc and pasting it back in every session.

So I built Sagaweft. The AI still narrates, but the world state is tracked separately from the chat. After each action it records what actually changed:

Item custody: Hooded lantern, Player → Brenna
Quest: The Black Hollow, Unopened → Cellar door found
Disposition: Brenna, Neutral → Favorable

Those changes carry into the next session. Each session is also saved as a searchable journal, and you get a recap when you come back.

It's a closed beta, so expect rough edges.

I'd especially like to hear from people who already play solo, with or without AI:

  1. What's the first thing that breaks immersion for you with AI GMs?
  2. Do you want the AI to handle rules and dice, or just narration?

Beta signup is at sagaweft.app if you want in. Brutal feedback is more useful to me than upvotes.

[iOS/macOS] Looking for testers for Charly, approve your coding agents from iPhone and Apple Watch (free year for feedback)

I'm looking for people who use Claude Code or OpenCode on a Mac to test Charly.

What it is: a Mac app that sends your coding agent's permission prompts and questions to your iPhone and Apple Watch. You approve with a tap, answer by voice from the watch, and get a summary when it finishes. It works with local projects and servers over SSH, and uses your own AI subscription.

What I'd like from testers: use it for a few days with your normal work and tell me what breaks, what's confusing and what's missing.

In return: the first 20 testers who send feedback get a free year of the subscription. The app is free to try and the subscription is optional.

You need a Mac with Claude Code or OpenCode and an iPhone. The Apple Watch is optional.

To join, install it from getcharly.dev and the App Store, then comment here or DM me so I can send you the code.

[Web + SMS] Looking for beta testers: text an announcement onto a live page—3 months free

Hi everyone! My sisters and I created Text2MySite (T2MS), and we’re looking for people to test signup, setup, and publishing announcements by text message.

Think “Cronuts sold out today” or “Tonight’s event is canceled.” Send a text to T2MS, and your announcement appears on the web.

See it before signing up:

One text updates both examples.

What you get:

Your own standalone page with its own web address—no existing website needed. You also get a widget for an existing website, with ticker, pop-up (modal), or full-page display options. The widget requires installation and your website provider’s permission. Use either option or both.

What we’d like you to test:

  1. Sign up and set up your standalone announcement page.
  2. Send your first announcement from your verified mobile number.
  3. Send another text to change the announcement.
  4. Tell us whether the updates appeared correctly and which steps were confusing.

You can leave feedback in the comments here. Please don’t post your phone number or verification codes.

Get three months free with code REDDIT50, limited to 50 accounts across our Reddit invitations.

Sign up: https://text2mysite.com
Code: REDDIT50

Signup requires email and phone verification. Use the mobile number you’ll send announcements from.

Thanks for helping us test! Honest feedback—including anything that doesn’t work—is welcome.

Try a Bay Area data layer and tell us if it’s useful

We're looking for app developers, founders, and people building agents to try Dayplay and tell us the truth.
The problem: anything that plans a night in SF, Oakland, or Berkeley tends to invent it. Closed venues, stale events, routes that aren't actually walkable.
Dayplay is the data layer under that. Live events and verified places, over MCP.
https://www.dayplay.io/
There's an iOS app on the same data if you want to see it as a person first. It's early and not perfect. We're letting people try the infrastructure so we can get honest feedback. Hit me up with questions.

[Web] WordPress bloggers wanted: test one draft and its calendar workflow

Draft for r/betatests — submit only after account restrictions are resolved and the community's age/karma requirements are met.

I'm Autopubly's builder and I'm looking for 10 WordPress bloggers to test a small workflow: connect a site you own, create and edit one article draft, then check the calendar. A test site is fine; keep the article unpublished.

The app combines AI-assisted drafts, WordPress publishing and optional Pinterest scheduling after individual review. Signup is required. The existing beta trial is free within the limits shown in the workspace, and I can help with setup.

What I'd value: the first confusing step, whether the draft was useful after editing, and any reproducible error. No purchase or positive review is requested.

Thanks for taking a look.

Can you test StreamKey and Voucher on Android? Feedback on setup and mobile usability

Could you help me test two web pilots on Android? I'm their developer, and I'd especially like feedback on small-screen usability. Pick whichever interests you.

  1. StreamKey: https://streamkeynow.com

Tracks streaming subscriptions, watchlists, budgets and renewals. Open Get started, add a service and a title, then refresh. Are the setup steps understandable? Does your data stay saved? Does the planner make sense? The availability catalog is limited, paid checkout isn't active, and native store releases are still in preparation. Feedback can go through the Feedback tab.

  1. Voucher: https://looking4voucher.com/demo

A practice walkthrough for a collector trade-record service. Can you follow the agreement-to-confirmation flow on your phone? Is it clear what gets recorded and what doesn't? No real transaction is necessary. If you explore signup at https://looking4voucher.com, new accounts wait 24 hours before real trade actions. Voucher doesn't hold funds, provide escrow, or guarantee trades.

I'm also preparing Fort Locker, an Android app/website blocker. Its Google Play test isn't open yet, so I am not presenting it as installable here. Planned pricing is free download with $2.99/month protection; subscription setup and billing validation are still pending.

Please comment with the project, phone/Android version, browser, and a confusing step or reproducible bug. Positive reviews aren't requested; candid feedback is what helps. Thank you!

Can Claude Code or Codex users test pitwall’s new queued messages and first-run setup?

We're Quantic Studios, building pitwall, a free MIT-licensed desktop terminal for running multiple coding agents. Its sidebar shows which agent is working or waiting for you.

We shared the alpha here earlier. The beta now includes queued messages between agent panes, and we'd like help testing that specific workflow rather than another general launch.

Who can test: developers who already have Claude Code or Codex installed and authenticated. Linux is where we use it daily. macOS and Windows builds are available but have less hands-on testing. Your agent subscription or API costs remain separate.

Install options and screenshots: https://quanticstudios.github.io/pitwall/

Current release: https://github.com/quanticstudios/pitwall/releases/tag/v0.1.0-beta.8

Suggested test:

  1. Install pitwall, open it, and use its first-run hook setup. In Codex, run /hooks once to trust the hooks and restart existing agent sessions.

  2. Open an agent on a small repository and ask it to explain the project without editing files.

  3. From another pitwall terminal in the same session, run pitwall ls to find its tab. Run pitwall send TAB -- "Which file should a new contributor read first? Do not edit files.", replacing TAB with that tab's number.

Does hook setup make sense? Does the message arrive after the current turn, without interrupting a permission prompt? Does the sidebar match what the agent is doing?

Messages wait until the agent is ready; they don't approve anything. The queue is held in memory and is lost when the daemon restarts.

Please report your OS, pitwall version, agent version, expected behavior and what happened. Comments or GitHub issues are welcome. No positive review or star is required.

Looking for Freelancers to try out a sales tool I made : Closingly

Closingly sits in your sales/discovery calls , understands what happened then depending on the context generates ready to send proposal which you can customize. It also :

  1. Lets you know when the client viewed it or if they approve or want changes
  2. Suggest follow-ups based on the context , ready to send with one click.
  3. Lets you know if a client request is out of scope and how much you should charge.
  4. Forecasts your revenue for the month based on your pipeline and close probability.

And there are tons of other features , it's basically a full AI revenue operating system for freelancers and small agencies without a sales team.

Please sign up here to get free access: https://closingly.app

I am looking for freelancers taking 5 calls a month to use and test Closingly , in exchange we will give you special discounts when we do the proper launch.

This is something me and my friend built for ourselves as we were both in the service industry for the past 4.5 years and realized that Revenue was leaking because of :

  • too much time spent on drafting proposals
  • forgetting to follow up
  • doing extra work for free
  • no way to visualize our revenue and sales pipeline.

And we decided to convert this into a product and share it with others.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

[iOS] DAY'S: looking for feedback on the travel-history coverage setup (free core)

I'm the developer of DAY'S, an iPhone travel log. I'd like people to check one part of the setup: whether it's clear what period of travel history the day counter can use.

This is the released App Store app, and the test uses the free core. You can use fictional trips and documents.

Try adding a country stay with arrival and departure dates, then open the stay-day calendar and follow the history-coverage prompts. Is it clear which dates you still need to enter manually? Does the app explain why missing history affects a result? Please tell me the screen or wording that was confusing.

The core trip log, document records and current day counter work offline, without GPS or a DAY'S account. Optional monthly Premium adds future forecasts, local reminders and private iCloud sync.

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6464660094

Screenshots: https://olegotka.es/days

iOS 16+; English, Spanish and Russian.

Please keep personal itineraries and document details private. Calculations depend on what you enter and do not confirm permission to enter a country.

[iOS] Looking for 5–10 beta testers: an app that digs the buried to-dos out of your Gmail (ADHD-friendly)

I'm building QuietHand because I kept losing important stuff in my own inbox. If you've got an inbox of shame, or you're a little afraid to open your email, this is for you.

It connects to your Gmail and pulls the things that actually need you (a bill, an RSVP, "can you send me X by Friday") into simple to-do and calendar cards on your phone. It also surfaces the stuff you meant to answer before it becomes "it's been too long to reply now."

Caveats: iOS only, TestFlight beta, rough edges. Google is still verifying the app, so I add each tester's Gmail by hand. Comment or DM the Gmail you'd use and I'll add you within a few hours. Free during beta, and honest feedback is the whole point.

I’m a breeder who built a pedigree app for Mac, iPhone and iPad. Looking for beta testers (free)

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

We keep English Springer Spaniels, Field Spaniels and Labradors, and I got tired of retyping AKC pedigrees and titles one at a time in older pedigree software. So I built KennelTree, and it’s now in a free public beta on TestFlight.

What it does:

  • Reads AKC research pedigrees, registration certificates and title certificates (PDF, scan or photo) and shows every change for you to check before anything is saved
  • Shows how close each dog is to its next titles, from the AKC Titles & Points page
  • Keeps health clearances (OFA, CHIC, DNA), litters and planned breedings in one place, with COI and trial matings
  • Publishes your kennel’s own website free (Netlify), with a page per breed and per dog
  • Imports your records if you’re coming from iPed

Your records stay in your own iCloud; nothing is sent to me. Nothing is charged during the beta.

Join here (50-second video and sign-up): https://kenneltree.com/beta/

I’d really value feedback from other breeders and exhibitors, especially what’s missing or wrong. Happy to answer questions here.

[Android] Mortar Aid: looking for feedback on a free PUBG PC/console companion

Thumbnail
gallery
1 Upvotes

Hi everyone! I'm the developer of Mortar Aid, a free, unofficial Android companion for PUBG on PC and consoles.

Place a mortar and a target on an offline map to calculate the sight setting, bearing and flight time, with terrain elevation taken into account. It also has a slope overlay, moving-target calculations using vehicle speed, saved positions and match lookup.

I'm looking for Android testers, especially people who play PUBG, but you don't need to launch the game to try the app. We currently have 5 people in the closed test and need at least 7 more.

I'd particularly appreciate feedback on:

- Is it clear how to place and edit the mortar and targets?

- Are the map controls and terrain toggle easy to understand?

- Does the interface fit your phone, and do you notice lag or crashes?

How to join (use the same Google account for all steps):

  1. Join our Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/mortaraid-testers

  2. Become a tester: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.mortaraid.app

  3. Install from Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mortaraid.app

Please remain opted in for 14 consecutive days and come back periodically to try different features. Honest feedback is welcome here or in the Google Group. For bugs, your phone model, Android version and steps to reproduce are helpful. No email DM or Telegram signup needed.

The screenshots below show the calculator, vehicle controls and match search. Thanks for helping!
