🙏 Quick Update: Posts Should Be Flowing Again!

First of all, sorry to everyone whose post was held for review recently. 😅

A Reddit filter was catching many legitimate beta testing posts, which created delays and extra work for both users and moderators.

✅ I’ve reviewed and approved the backlog.

✅ I’ve also updated the subreddit settings to reduce false positives going forward.

If your post was delayed, thank you for your patience.

As always:

  • Be respectful
  • No spam
  • Keep posts relevant to beta testing, feedback, and product validation
  • Include a clear description of what you’re building and what feedback you’re looking for

💬 Also, our Discord community is growing fast and is a great place to get feedback, find testers, and connect with other builders:

https://discord.gg/AN8P9M9fp8

Thanks for helping make r/BetaTests a useful place for builders and testers alike! 🚀

I built a tool that turns Excel workbooks into tested pandas or SQL and proves the numbers still match. Looking for testers (free beta)

• Upvotes

Disclosure: I built this. Beta, free, here for feedback not sales.

The target: the workbook that runs a pricing model or a month-end pack, that three people depend on and nobody dares rewrite, because "nearly right" is worse than the workbook.

What it does: parses the workbook, builds the cell dependency graph, groups copied-down formulas into blocks, generates readable Python, pandas or SQL, then recalculates every formula cell and compares it with the workbook's stored value. You get a workbook map, a dependency graph, the code with tests, and a reconciliation report that names every mismatch and every cell it could not convert. Nothing is guessed.

Where it stands: two public workbooks reconcile 100% on Python and pandas and over 99.5% on SQL (IRR and RATE need a solver SQL lacks). Excel semantics are checked against Excel itself. Macros are inventoried, not run.

Data: the hosted converter (Azure, UK South) deletes uploads within six hours, runs no AI step, and records counts, never values. The CLI runs the same pipeline inside your own environment. Detail: power-migrate.com/help/#privacy-and-data

The ask: try it on something real and tell me what reconciled, what did not, and what you would need to trust the code. It is tested equivalence, not "guaranteed identical", and the report says what was tested.

Samples: power-migrate.com/samples

Try it here

Beta: power-migrate.com/beta

[Android] Pulse Foundry metronome: looking for feedback on setup and background playback

I'm building Pulse Foundry, an Android metronome, and would like feedback from people who practise an instrument. The priority is a clear, steady click that keeps playing with the screen off.

The free core includes tempo entry and tap tempo, three click sounds, time signatures, subdivisions, accents, count-in, and saved presets. There are no ads or app accounts. Optional advanced practice tools use a lifetime Pro upgrade; you don't need to buy anything for this test. Requires Android 8.0 or later.

I'm especially interested in three things:

- Can you set a tempo, change the beat accents, and start without needing help?

- Does playback continue normally when you lock your phone or switch apps?

- What feels awkward or unnecessary during actual music practice?

Playback demo: https://synterasystems.com/pulse-foundry-playback-demo.html

Google Play closed-test opt-in: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.synterasystems.pulsefoundry

This is an invite-only test. Before using the opt-in link, email the Google account address selected in your phone's Play Store to [daultongroup@gmail.com](mailto:daultongroup@gmail.com), subject 'Pulse Foundry tester'. I'll add you and send joining instructions; please keep your address out of public comments.

Please remain enrolled for at least 14 consecutive days, try the free features during practice, and send honest feedback. A phone model, Android version, and steps for any problem would help. No ratings or positive reviews are requested. Thanks!

Looking for iPhone/iPad testers for Touch Grass

• Upvotes

I'm looking for people to try the introduction in Touch Grass, an app I'm making where you play bowls, gongs and other instruments with touch. Their sound changes a moving, sand-like pattern on screen.

Could you try five minutes and tell me where you had to guess what to do? I'm working on teaching the gestures: tapping to strike a bowl, then tracing a circle to keep it singing. I'd also like to know if anything sounds harsh or too loud on your headphones.

The beta is free on TestFlight for iPhone and iPad running iOS/iPadOS 26 or later. No account needed in the app.

https://testflight.apple.com/join/a5jT7hhA

You can reply here or send feedback through TestFlight. If something breaks, please include your device and the instrument you were playing.

[Web App] Fundamental equity research tool. Looking for alpha testers

I've been building a fundamental equity research app to make analyzing individual stocks more structured, and I'm looking for early users to test it.

The app brings together several financial factors in one framework:

  • Liquidity
  • Growth
  • Capital efficiency
  • Coverage
  • Valuation
  • Risk

The goal is to give investors a more structured way to evaluate a company's financials without having to jump between metrics and spreadsheets.

The app is ready for alpha testing, and I'm looking for people who do their own fundamental stock research to try it out and give me honest feedback. I'd especially appreciate feedback on the usefulness of the factor framework, the user experience, and what's missing.

If you're interested, you can sign up for the alpha here: https://theprojectmoonshot.io/alpha or send me a DM. I'll help get your login set up.

I'm the developer, so I'm happy to answer questions about how it works or what I'm looking to improve.

Thanks!

Looking for feedback on SalesSavvy, an AI assistant that preps your sales calls, takes notes and updates your CRM for you

Hi everyone! I'm part of SalesSavvy, a web app (with a mobile version) for B2B salespeople who spend too much time on admin instead of selling.

Here’s what it does:

  • Before a call: gives you a 1-minute brief on the prospect, pulled from your CRM, past calls and LinkedIn, plus a suggested agenda
  • During the call: live transcription and notes, a goal tracker, and you can ask the AI for objection tips in real time
  • After the call: auto-generates a MEDDIC/BANT report and syncs everything to your CRM in one click

It currently works with Zoom, Google Meet, Aircall and HubSpot (Salesforce, Teams and Google Calendar are coming).

You can try it free here: https://www.salessavvy.ai

I’m looking for feedback on:

  • Is it clear within the first 30 seconds what SalesSavvy does from the homepage?
  • Is the onboarding easy, or did you get stuck connecting your tools?
  • If you’re in sales: would you trust an AI to update your CRM? What would make you hesitate?
  • Is anything confusing, or a feature that feels unnecessary?

Honest feedback is very welcome, even if it’s honest. I’ll reply to every comment!

[Web] Q-Gambit: does one captured piece look like five?

Post image
1 Upvotes

I'm Q-Gambit's developer. It's a browser chess variant where pieces can have several possible identities, and moves eliminate the identities that cannot make them.

I'm looking for a short usability check of the captured-piece display. In this actual CPU-practice screenshot, Black has captured one White piece. The five icons beside 'Captured pieces 1' are that single piece's remaining possibilities: Queen, Rook, Bishop, Knight and Pawn.

Does that grouping read clearly, or does it look like five separate captures? Can you tell which side captured the piece? Do the captured-piece row and the 'Unresolved identities' counts seem to describe different things?

Try the current game at https://q-gambit.com/ in a desktop or mobile browser. CPU practice on the title screen starts a free guest match without an account or download. The How to Play page has the rules.

A first impression of the screenshot is useful. If you play for 5–10 minutes, a confusing capture plus your browser/device would help. Comments here are enough; no recording is required. Testing is voluntary and unpaid.

Looking for beta testers for a vocabulary app for readers

Hey everyone!

I've been building Vocabist, a web app that helps you save and remember unfamiliar words you come across while reading.

You can upload a photo of a book page with underlined or highlighted words, capture them and save their meanings and context, and practise them later.

The first version is ready for testing!

You can try it here: Vocabist

I'm mainly looking for feedback on:

  • Is it easy to understand how to upload a page and save words?
  • Does the app correctly identify highlighted or underlined words?
  • Is the practice feature useful, or does it feel like an extra step?
  • Would you actually use this while reading, or is your current way of looking up and saving words easier?
  • Is there anything confusing or frustrating about the experience?

Happy to test your projects and share feedback too. Let's help each other out! :)

Willing to pay people experienced with fitness apps to test our AI personal training app, and give honest feedback.

We’ve worked on it for months with legit trainers to make it as helpful as possible. We’d love to hear what feels confusing, what’s missing, and whether you’d actually use it.

We expect to launch on the app stores within a couple of weeks.

DM me if you’re interested, along with which fitness apps you’ve used.

[iOS] Tallihaus: the app your realtor should've told you about

I'm a homeowner and solo developer looking for a few more testers before my iPhone app goes on the App Store.

🏠 Shopping for a home?

  • Today's mortgage rates and what you can comfortably afford
  • A tour checklist for showings that turns concerns into repair estimates
  • Save homes by screenshotting the listing, then compare them side by side
  • A closing checklist built around your closing date

🔑 Already own one?

  • 📸 Snap an appliance label and it tells you how old it is
  • 🧾 Reads your utility bills, even password-protected PDFs
  • 🏦 Tracks your mortgage and equity, and tells you when you can drop PMI
  • 🔧 Reminds you about the maintenance everyone forgets

When you get the keys, everything from house hunting carries over to homeowner mode.

No account, no ads. Your info stays on your phone and your own iCloud.

Don't own a home? You can still test it: tap "Explore Sample Homes" or "Take a tour with a sample home."

What I'd love to hear: anything confusing in the first few minutes, anything that looks broken, and whether scanning a bill or label worked for you.

https://testflight.apple.com/join/W8sgVj5N

iPhone, iOS 18 or later. More info and a short video: https://tallihaus.com

Thanks!

[iOS] Looking for beta testers — OCTRuTA, a calendar app that combines Google, Outlook & iCloud in one view (with booking links that check all of them)

I’m a solo developer launching an iPhone calendar app and I’m looking for ~20 people to try it before public release.

What it does: Shows all your calendars (Google, Outlook/Exchange, iCloud, iCal feeds) in one view, and lets you create/edit events on any of them. The Pro tier adds shareable booking links that check availability across every connected calendar, including personal ones, so nobody books you during your kid’s soccer game.

Who I’d especially love to hear from: consultants, freelancers, coaches, real estate agents, or anyone juggling a work calendar plus personal/family calendars.

What I’m asking: Use it for a week or two. Add a calendar. Create, edit, delete an event. Create a booking link and schedule a meeting. Please tell me what’s confusing, broken, or missing. A short feedback call is a bonus if you’re up for it.

Privacy: Calendar data is only ever stored locally on your device.

Comment or DM me and I’ll send the TestFlight link.

I built a file explorer for your browser tabs 📁

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I believe I’m not the only one struggling with tab management, especially when working on big projects or studying multiple subjects for exams, etc.

That’s why I decided to build an extension that solves this kind of problem. Yes, tab managers are everywhere, and I tried many of them, but unfortunately none of them clicked for me. I wanted something that organizes and saves tabs in a more robust way, something I could integrate seamlessly into my workflow. That was the inspiration behind the “file explorer” format: I’m used to working with both Windows File Explorer and VS Code’s Explorer to organize files, so why not use the same approach for tabs? It worked. Thanks to the similarities between TAB Explorer and VS Code’s Explorer, organizing tabs became way easier.

It is possible to use TAB Explorer to save the tabs you don’t want to lose, group the tabs and files necessary for your projects in dedicated folders, save your session before closing the browser, and perform many other operations that support file explorer shortcuts (e.g., copy and paste, multiple item selection, deletion, saving tabs, etc.).

An example of a workflow TAB Explorer allows: saving the tabs and files of a study session in a study folder (for example, inside the Study workspace), then closing the browser or the tabs after finishing to do something else, and finally using TAB Explorer to retrieve the session again.

TAB Explorer is available for free on the web store : TAB Explorer

I’d love to hear your feedback, and how you currently manage your tabs.
