University uceap program dates

i'm planning to study abroad at nus this spring, but uceap isn't releasing program dates until november (and i think tickets are going to be much more expensive by then..) in general, how much earlier are uceap start dates compared to the actual schools' academic start dates? does anyone have past experience w/ study abroad at nus that they'd be able to share?

I had to be at NUS for January 8 this year! Classes started Jan 12.
