The ad definitely makes me stupider every time I see it, which extra sucks because it feels like it was designed to make me stupider and I’m falling for it lol

I saw posts about the ad before I actually saw it so I thought it was just a proactive commercial. Saw it for the first time the other day and the thing that bugs me the most is how stupid the target audience must be for the ad just to be her naked saying “Sports” over and over

One marketing strategy is to annoy people into remembering a company's name. Then when you need insurance or whatever you can't help but think of that company with the annoying ad. And you can forgive an annoying ad if the product offered ends up being worth it.

So next time someone asks about sports betting your monkey brain will instantly go to a naked Sydney Sweeny being annoying (in theory) and you might suggest that company. Or even mock that ad, which still might make someone check it out.

I don’t even know what’s it’s advertising, I just know she says sports in a braindead manner, so I can’t say that strategy is working here.
