Bit of a shot in the dark. I hunted for a long time for a mix tape of old that I was absolutely fiending over. Long story short, I ended up finding a copy of it, and it's taken me all the way back.

The recording isn't the best. It seems to start half way, and the last half has volume issues. It's still awesome.

The point of my post. Does anyone know much about this DJ, have a better copy of the recording, recognise any one the tracks, and can recommend similar rave style songs/artists from this same era, or new ones?

It really scratches an itch for me that I have struggled to get to. It's a pretty unique style in my opinion, and I love it.

How is freaky deaky like with security? I am 18 but i haven’t gotten a state id yet and only have my learners permit which has now expired. Will they care if the ID is expired? Should i bring another form of id or do they not check that hard?

I bought a pass for Escape this halloween weekend and now I am kinda scared,I went to shows all the time through my early 20s (yes i am an unc now) and then work happened and I kinda stopped without ever deciding to. Now I am here scrolling and every second post is someone saying they feel too old at 30, so that’s helping a lot lol.

And escape because I never made it to one back then and the people I knew who went said it’s more than just the music(Crazy Town, the roaming characters, the fortune tellers, fire performers everywhere) ANDD saturday has Zedd and galantis too so I have go like its now or never

None of my friends are coming as they said have fun when i asked them to join me(I need new friends) .I am going anyway, but I keep picturing myself standing at the back with earplugs in while everyone around me is 21 and knows every song.

I don’t even know what I am worried about, I think I just miss it and I’m scared it won’t feel the same

Also anyone who has been to Escape or who came back to the scene after a long break what should I know that's changed??

I'm 38m, and have lived in Vancouver for four years. I am trying to build up my social circle. I'm realizing I don't have much going on for Halloween.

I know it's expensive as it's late, but I would love to find a group for Foundations this year, and maybe an after-party. Let me know if interested. We can head to other gigs after.

Also a little about me. I am a big outdoor person. I have a seasons pass at Whistler (fingers cross the snow won't be as horrible as predicted). I enjoy logic puzzles, and board games, road trips, and just finding the hole-in-the-wall pubs.

Hey all, I’m heading to Boo Seattle this year and have some names in mind that I really want to see, but want to get some recs on some of the other artists/what they’re like.

I’m a big fan of UKG, like a good amount of Techno (will be seeing Sara Landry/Clara Cuve for sure), quite like a lot of tech house, and like a good amount of bass/dubstep but it’s not always specifically MY THING (I know this is a massive bass event, I’m still going to enjoy those sets fs)

So far I definitely know I want to see Sara Landry, Clara Cuve, Taiki Nulight, Walker & Royce, and I’m actually pretty excited to see Champion as well.

Westend, Omnom, It’s Murph, Cloonee, Usaybflow, James Hype, Griz, Levity, Subtronics are also all on the list to see depending on set times.

Does anyone have any other recs for UKG, Techno, or Tech House on the lineup for Boo Seattle this year? Thanks in advance!

I’m so over the whole plur Kandi sticker stem trinket community. It feels like nobody is here to enjoy music and they are here for these fesivities. I am for taking care of people, showing love to people and overall just not being a dick, but the plur rave community is doing too much. Put your flow stars and fans away. I was barricade getting a flow star in my face by this random and he would hit me in the face repeatedly and not apologize. Stop with the Instagram plur and come for the music and be kind to others.
