Support PA32UCDM ProArt monitor calibration software cannot connect

• Upvotes

While on firmware version 108, I managed — despite a few errors — to calibrate the monitor using the ProArt software and the Calibrite Display Plus HL device. However, after updating the USB hub firmware via the standalone update from the ASUS website and subsequently upgrading the monitor to firmware v109, I am no longer able to establish a connection between the ProArt Calibration software and the monitor. The USB hub, Display Widget Center, and brightness adjustment software all work fine, but the ProArt Calibration software does not. I have tried using both a PC and a Mac, over both HDMI and USB-C connections. I contacted support describing the issue and was told they would get back to me, but I have not received a fix or solution yet

What to do?

Support SSD failed. How should I go forward?

Hi everyone, I’ve never dealt with this issue on any device before. But the SSD on my 2023 ASUS M16 (the one with the NVIDIA 4070), gave me a screen when I powered it on today which said:

S.M.A.R.T Test Warning

SM2269

S.M.A.R.T Status is Bad. Please Backup and Replace the device.

Press any key to continue to Boot..

Note, I do have an external Samsung SSD that I added to the laptop. I’m assuming this is the original SSD that came with the laptop since Windows is installed on it and that’s why I’m always going to the boot menu on startup.

Again, i appreciate any advice since this is the first time I’ve dealt with this! I hope to recover some files that I have on the SSD as well. Maybe I’ll contact ASUS as well but I want to know what I should do before I contact them.

Thank you!

Support Samsung 990 pro SSD with ROG Z16

Will not update firmware on my 2025 z16 4080.

I have tried all of the online troubleshooting steps including the flash drive part and no luck.

Should I just uninstall it at this point? Anyone else try everything and still can’t update the firmware?

Product Review ASUS ROG Xbox Ally X20 Review – OLED Steals the Show!

Having spent the past two weeks with the ASUS ROG Xbox Ally X20, I've had plenty of time to put this handheld through its paces, and ASUS has definitely delivered something special. From its stunning 7.4-inch 120Hz OLED display and the 1,400 nits of peak brightness to its redesigned controls and premium translucent finish, the X20 brings some welcome upgrades to an already impressive handheld.

Under the hood, the X20 packs an AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor, 24GB of RAM, 1TB of storage and a massive 80Wh battery. ASUS has also introduced new TMR magnetic joysticks designed to reduce stick drift, alongside a customizable D-pad that switches between 4-way and 8-way directional controls.

While it might not deliver a massive performance leap over its predecessor, the improved Xbox full-screen experience, refined design and upgraded controls make the X20 feel like a more complete handheld. But if there's one feature that truly steals the show, it's that gorgeous OLED display. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Support High CPU Tempratures Asus Even after repaired by authorised technician

I have Asus expertBook P1 notebook laptop, its slim so it overheats sometimes. It was not turning on yesterday so i called customer care and they sent a tecnician today. He daignoste my laptop and found nothing unusal but still he changed the thermal paste, and after that its normal idel tempratures are more than 60 celcius or even 85. I didn't saw the tempratures before so i can't tell what was the tempratures before but it was below 90 even in stress i guess. but still i think 60-65 is high for idel laptop and 85 for web surfing.

how can i check if its his mistake or is this normal for notebook laptops

Discussion I changed my vivobook x512jp laptop battery. Need advice.

I have changed my Asus Vivobook X512JP Laptop Battery few days back from an 03rd Party Seller.

I have few questions regarding this battery change. I used the original battery from the day i purchased 2020 November to 2026 October. But i cannot remember how long the original battery should last. If someone using the original Asusa Vivobook X512JP battey can you help me with following confirmation.

  1. How many hours the original battery lasts when it charge from 0 - 100%?

  2. How long it takes to charge 0 - 100?

  3. My current replacement battery doesn't show how long it will take to full charge in the task bar? Is it normal? Does original battey show a countdown of time to fully charge?

  4. My new battery took first charge 3-100% 2.5 hours. And i kept the display on and movie and music play it lasted like 2.5hours. Is that normal for an non oem third party battery?

Please help i wanna know is this battery good or should i replace.

Product Recommendation Asus vivobook 16 core ultra 5 225H 16gb /512gb

Iam planning to buy from Asus website iam getting it for 81000/-

My primary usage:

* Power BI (large datasets and dashboards)

* SQL (SSMS, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)

* Python (data analysis, automation, Jupyter)

* Heavy Excel usage

* Studying, research, lots of browser tabs

* Occasional casual gaming GTA V

What matters most to me:

* Smooth multitasking

* Good thermals under sustained workloads

* Battery life

* Display quality and comfort for long work sessions

* Upgradeability (especially RAM)

* Reliability and after-sales support

The ASUS has a 16" 16:10 WUXGA display, which seems great for productivity, while Dell is generally known for better support and build quality.

For those who have used either model:

  1. Which one would you choose for data analytics/business intelligence work?

  2. How are the thermals and fan noise during heavy workloads?

  3. Any real-world issues with either laptop?

Thanks in advance!

Support ASUS TUF Gaming F16 FX607VB-RL087WS RTX 3050A HDMI 2.1 FRL PORT SPEED?

ASUS TUF Gaming F16 FX607VB-RL087WS: can the HDMI 2.1 actually do 4K120 HDR10 10-bit RGB/4:4:4 + VRR?

I am planning to buy ASUS TUF Gaming F16 FX607VB-RL087WS,with:

\- Intel Core 5 210H

\- RTX 3050A Laptop GPU 4GB

\- 16GB RAM

\- 512GB SSD

\- HDMI 2.1

\- USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 with DisplayPort

Asus's official specification says the HDMI 2.1 port FRL supports 8K 60Hz / 4K 120Hz.

My actual goal is to use this laptop as a GeForce NOW Ultimate client connected to my OnePlus Q2 Pro 65-inch 4K 120Hz TV.

I specifically want:

3840×2160 @ 120Hz

HDR10

10-bit or 12-bit

RGB Full / YUV 4:4:4

VRR / G-SYNC

I already know that 4K120 SDR works on other hardware, so my concern is whether this particular Katana can actually maintain 10-bit HDR at 120Hz, rather than dropping to 8-bit SDR.

Questions for asus tuf owners:

  1. Has anyone connected the asus tuf to a 4K120 TV or monitor?

  2. Can you select 3840×2160 @ 120Hz + RGB + 10 bpc + Full in NVIDIA Control Panel?

  3. Does Windows HDR remain enabled at 4K120?

  4. Can you get 4K120 + HDR10 + 10-bit RGB/4:4:4 simultaneously?

  5. Does VRR/G-SYNC work at 4K120?

  6. What exact TV/monitor did you use?

  7. Which HDMI cable did you use?

  8. Did you need to enable Discrete Graphics/MUX mode in Asus Center if this has one, or does it work normally in Hybrid mode if it has one?

  9. In NVIDIA Control Panel → Set PhysX Configuration, is the HDMI display shown as being connected directly to the RTX 3050A?

  10. Does anyone know the actual HDMI signaling/bandwidth of this laptop? Specifically:

\- 24 Gbps FRL?

\- 32 Gbps FRL?

\- 40 Gbps FRL?

\- 48 Gbps FRL?

  1. If HDMI works, has anyone tested the combination with 10-bit RGB + HDR + VRR rather than just 4K120 SDR?

  2. Has anyone used the USB-C DisplayPort output with an active DP-to-HDMI 2.1 adapter and achieved:

4K120 + 10-bit + RGB/4:4:4 + HDR + VRR?

  1. Are there any BIOS, firmware, NVIDIA driver or Asus Center settings required?

14.Your suggestions for what I explicitly want if u have any?

I'm asking because HDMI 2.1 laptop implementations seem to vary massively. Some laptops advertised as HDMI 2.1 FRL apparently use only 24Gbps, while others have full FRL.

I'd really appreciate screenshots of the NVIDIA Control Panel showing 3840×2160 / 120Hz / RGB / 10 bpc / Full, or actual measurements/results.

Thanks in advance!

Support UK charger for ASUS TUF Gaming F16

Moving to the UK and would like a charger for my laptop that doesn’t require a US to UK adaptor. Can anyone point me in the right direction? How much does it matter/not matter that it’s the exact same model of charger? I can’t find the model I have on Amazon, the Asus store doesn’t sell them, and a lot of third party sites seem sketchy

Discussion Asus you fumbled on the pg27aqwp

could have been a great monitor despite the awful banding and dirty screen effect.

all you had to do was make a quick select menu to change moniter settings like ELMB and hertz

resize moniter size when going into 720p as this looks ass on 27inches (who thought this was a good idea?)

and include vesa screw mounts!

for £1000 I would rather just wait for new tech thats coming in 2027

and ofcourse better customer service, sending the monitor i bought back to you has been the biggest headache, I got the moniter over a month ago and I have been trying to get a refund from 4 days after using it and i still have not got my money back. I have been with out a monitor since. worse customer service i have ever experienced. I will never buy asus product ever again.

Hi everyone before I mention the two products i am looking at, I already own the 26’ Asus Zephyrus G14 with the Intel core ultra 9, 16GB ram, RTX 5070Ti and 1TB ssd.

I already owned the Zephyrus G14 and have had it for about five months now and my only real complaint is how low the ram is. 16GB for $3000 is just insane. I do like it for gaming and I do use it for lots of schoolwork, I use it heavy on AI use, lots of claude and GIS agents for big data sets. I do environmental modeling with GIS and remote sensing work too so i need my laptop to handle these things. The 16GB of Ram fills up so fast and I can tell it struggles once I have multiple things going on in the background.

My question is: Should I turn it in for the ASUS - ROG Flow Z13? It is about $700 cheaper than what I paid for this Asus G14 and I really do like the detachable Ipad style plus it has 64GB Ram which is amazing. I will be using it for gaming and the same things I mentioned before for schoolwork.

Support - SOLVED! Asus b850m WiFi 7 Bluetooth not Working

Making this post because I solved a problem that I found hard to find a Reddit post explaining it well.

So if your Bluetooth/wifi drivers suddenly stopped working one day, turn off your pc, unplug the power supply, hold down your power button for 20 seconds draining the residual power, then replug it in. This reset the chip and now I have my WiFi and Bluetooth.

Support issues with my asus laptop's wifi card

so my laptop is a asus tuf Fx505dd that i bought back in the start of 2020 and over the last couple years ive had issues where sometimes i couldn't get back on wifi upon waking the laptop up or where it would disconnect and just not be able to reconnect sometimes. ive managed to more or less still have it be relatively useable through driver changes and device manager power setting stuff but its gotten to the point where i pretty much can only use the laptop hardwired via ethernet and it sometimes taking 6+ restarts to get the wifi showing up again before the driver deletes itself from existence. weirdly if i have the laptop hdmi'd to my tv and just dont move it it stays connected but i cannot open the screen up or move it around at all or no wifi until i restart the entire laptop where it lasts 5 minutes if im lucky. the consensus seems that the realtek 8822ce wireless lan 802. 11ac pci-e nic card is kinda a piece of shit in general but the inconsistency regarding the movement aspect gives me pause that its not some sorta power or wiring issue that would absolutely be beyond my ability to diagnose or fix myself.

ive seen some suggestions on previous threads about replacing it with a AX210 but i get pretty confused when theres like 8 listings for that product and most of them have this massive antennae in the screenshots that absolutely could never fit inside a laptop and really dont know what to buy here. $30 ish bucks actually isnt completely insignificant to me right now so i wanted to ask about this before committing to a decision i dont know is wrong or not.

im not worried about opening the laptop up ive had to do it before because the hdd that came with this thing fucking died and needed replacing.

Support Screen forming black from exhaust air ExpertBook B1

This ASUS laptop has i3-1115G4 CPU and exhausts air from the bottom of the screen. I am just finally trying to play some games but I saw the LCD panel was turning black by the heat. I still want to play games tho, it runs smooth as butter, any suggestions.

The screen is fine right now btw.
