I'm not from the US. Just finished replaying AC III and was wondering how those who are feel about it. I have superficial knowledge of y'all's early history and, to me, it felt way more like a historical reenactment than the previous entries.

Very disappointed Connor never met the Iroquois Confederacy, his initial intended goal, but, instead, joined the war of independence which, as we know, didn't end well for the natives in the long run.

The tone shift was jarring. So much glazing for the founding fathers. So many unfun sequences that are just reenactments of iconic stories of your independence war, like going door to door to warn the British are coming to Lexington (?). It felt like an interactive play of Hamilton.

The ship sequences were easily the best part of the game. Good thing they chose to focus on that in Black Flag, which I've played before, and Rogue, which I'll play next.

I’ve tried getting the other kids first, restarting the checkpoint, closing the game, and restarting my Xbox, and I still can’t climb it. I also can’t find anything about this online

I heard and recorded this from ingame, but i cannot figure which track it is from the game OST

Assassin's Creed 3 remastered has, hopefully, fixed a few bugs from the original. I can't know for sure because I can't get that far; the game's rendered itself unplayable before I even got past Haytham's segment. Problems I am having:

1: The game constantly minimizing itself. I've been advised to run it in windowed mode to resolve this, but editing the INI file has done jack squat. The game refuses to not be fullscreen, and refuses to function properly when it is. I tried running Steam's launch command of "-windowed" on a whim, which MAYBE resolved the minimzing?...but created a new problem:

2: Launching the game shuts off my computer's sound. Not just for Assassin's Creed 3 Remastered, but everything. Even after closing the game, all audio is still off until I reset the entire damn computer.

Any advice?

This is the last thing I need to do to 100% the game and I've been stuck on this sucky-ass optional objective for the last few hours. I've read several different threads and watched videos and nothing is working.

I chainshot then ram them - nothing happens or they die instantly

I just try ram them - same again

I chainshot then roundshot the front as least accurately as I can - same

I honestly am losing my mind!

EDIT: I finally did it! After scrawling through numerous forums I found one person suggest mashing half sail and stop while facing a ship and miraculously it actually worked even with the fully upgraded ship.

This game is a buggy mess and honestly, I'm starting to love it. My man ran up, grabbed his back, and died of old age.

*I apologize for the voice over.

Hey all, I've been trying to launch AC3 (og and remastered) thru ubisoft connect but it just keeps crashing immediately and sending me back to the ubisoft connect home screen. I've searched around for solutions and nothing seems to work. Can anyone help with this?

I'm looking for a co-author on a Ratonhnhaké:ton x FOC fic, anyone interested or know someone who would be interested?
