Do you mainly go for melee combat or do you have a sudden urge to flex your second amendment ingame? For me, it was an instant "Mmh, time to become an American in filthy ol' France" the moment i got my hands on the pepperbox gun for 1k Livres. Same situation in london, i just got the revolver for free instead.

I am returning to my love for AC Shadows after going through a recent hype with Japanese history. A passion for Asian histories has been with me since I read the Romance of the Three Kingdoms Moss Robert's Edition in high school. I returned to where I fought the Ox and Tsuno as Yasuke. A fight I felt I had to do as Yasuke to give them the honorable battle and death deserving of a samurai. Afterward, I proceeded to the mountain region within Harima region. Here, I know what was coming! A great view of the land around the corner where I situated Naoe. I have come to love winter season the most in this game.
I don't know what it is about this game, but I find the scenery to be so picture perfect no matter where I go! Besides this, I absolutely loved AC Origins in the same vein of a really stunning game visually.

Hope you all are saving great images in any AC game you play and having a good week!

Hi, I’m new to the Assassin’s Creed series and have got to Revelations, but to achieve 100% on Steam, it requires achievements that can’t be unlocked without a paid DLC that Ubisoft has taken off sale. Does anyone have a solution to this problem, or should I just move on to ac3?

Peace through subjugation is the idea of peace of the privileged and the oppressor. IF it succeeds it is only peace in appearance. You see, peace and violence are not just limited to things in appearance to be judged, they are states of mind as well. A mind under subjugation, is a mind under torment, not under peace. This is why the brotherhood is noble and the Templars not.
(I'm only upto the flame and foam mission, these are my opinions thus far. I do not know the future is the imperative to keep in mind.)
His peace is that of a ruler, the brotherhoods peace is off the kind that is true most righteously. Though, true everlasting peace is impossible due to simple reasons.
I hate the fact that Connor pays any mind to the words of Haytham. Regardless, I suppose he is a child just meeting his father.
Haytham envisions a world under control because he's a rich man in an early capitalist world who has never been the one under control.

I remember finishing Resynced and feeling a bit unsatisfied. I know I love Black flag since the original was the game that started my journey into assassin’s creed. But after playing Origins for the first time, I feel like none of the games have really given me that same sense of joy that playing Assassin’s Creed gave me when I was just a teenager.
It’s like having your favorite meal every day for a long period of time until you eventually start to dislike it. You still enjoy it, but that feeling of excitement isn't the same anymore. I missed that feeling I used to get from playing these games.
After finishing resynced I decided to give mirage a try cause one of my friends liked it. I was under the impression it was a horrible game and at first I kinda hated it. The open combat especially felt terrible. It was clunky, some of the dialogue felt off, and it seemed like the usual new RPG formula. But then I got to the main city, and I just fell in love with the game. It felt like I was playing AC Revelations and Unity again for the first time.
The stealth was fantastic, I loved the setting and atmosphere of Baghdad, and I loved learning about a culture I knew nothing about. The parkour while slower felt amazing, and the gadgets were super fun to throw around. Throwing knives were SO fun in this game. Eventually, I actually started to love the open combat too, surprisingly. It felt like I was actually an assassin again, and not just someone with a Hidden Blade.
The story was pretty good, even though the ending was a bit messy. It was super unique, I just wish we had more time with Basim. The DLC actually made me tear up. It was one of the best stories we've had in a long time. The game isnt perfect, but it gave me something I hadn't felt from this series in years.

I've played most of the non RPG titles, including 1, 2, Brotherhood, 4, Rogue. I've also tried Liberation (didn't like it) and Syndicate (also didn't like it). I hate the RPG elements that's why I didn't like Syndicate and I will never play the RPG ones. So what's left is 3, Unity and Mirage. From what I know they are all bad, so what's the least bad of the 3 that I should play? There's Revelations too but I'm not sure about that one as well

I to this day still watch the AC trailers and the ezio short (not all the time cause thats too emotional), but I see how people have been making all these other short animations for like Spiderman or other ip's, I think AC Animated shorts could be cool, like either remade versions of scenes we have seen in games or moments from comics or books or even the random conspiracies that are popular, what would you guys like to see, i wish I had the skill or ubisoft was planning something but I know they have that Netflix show supposedly still happening, but I've always been curious what you guys would want to see, in the styles of like the trailers or different animation styles
I imagine a recreating of the Desmond ending scene in AC 3 make it more emotional or even cooler, maybe include the attack on abstergo he did abstergo to fetch his father what do you think of that, but mainly what would you guys want to see?
Sorry if this a whole Lotta yap

Hello, i hope there is somebody in here that can help me.
Im playing Assasins Creed Black Flag Resynced right now. Im in Kingston now for the mission „a world without gold“ and i‘m at the point „not even a real captain“ and i have to go back to the jackdaw. But when i‘m back at the jackdaw (where the next checkpoint is), there is a wall in front of it which i can‘t pass. When i try to swimm, the wall went wider and i can‘t even swim to another island. Fast travel and other things doesnt work to. I‘m stuck in Kingston now and can‘t do anything against it.
Its also not possible to load a new save, because the earliest one was 3 minutes before and the Error is still there.
Did i miss anything 🤔

(PC) Apologies if this is the wrong sub, but wow this looks unfortunate. I've capped FPS to 60 and have changed most graphic settings in the game but I'm not sure how to fix? I assume this has been asked a lot, but can't seem to find a definitive fix?

I recently got back into the series after a few years away. I realized there were 2 books I didn't have in my collection. The Golden City and The Desert Threat. I've only found like 1 or 2 copies of Golden and they're like $130! As for Desert I can't find any physical. If anyone knows where either or both of these are located where I'm not spending 10x cover $ I appreciate the help. Just throwing up a Hail Mary. Thanks

Hi everyone,
I’m playing Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered on my PS4 Slim. I was almost finished with Sequence 2, but my console suddenly shut off. When I turned it back on and launched the game, my progress was gone, and I was back at Sequence 1.
I’m really frustrated because I spent so much time playing, and I don’t want to start all over again.
I don’t have PS Plus or a USB drive, so I can’t use cloud storage or make a USB backup.
Is there any way to recover my lost progress without PS Plus or a USB drive? Has anyone experienced the same problem, and did you find a solution?
I’d really appreciate any help. Thank you!

So ive been playing this game for years on steam and for some odd reason ive never heard City of Rome and many other music tracks when im in the areas they would play. Ive tried looking for videos that talk about fixes but can't find anything at all. Some other tracks that never play are Echoes of the Roman Ruins. So im just making this post to hopefully get some information on why they refuse to play.

Doing my nth replay of the game (the original cuz I actually like the modern day and I wanted to play freedom cry and the Aveline mission) and I never realized how young Edward is in this game. He does not carry himself or seem to be that young imo. It’s implied he’s been a pirate for years now with him being a higher up in the pirate community and knowing all the leaders. And he started as a privateer. And before that everything with Caroline prior to him leaving. He had to have only been like 16,17 when he left Caroline and began privateering. Maybe even younger. Kinda feel like the writers should have aged him up a bit imo.

I'm not from the US. Just finished replaying AC III and was wondering how those who are feel about it. I have superficial knowledge of y'all's early history and, to me, it felt way more like a historical reenactment than the previous entries.
Very disappointed Connor never met the Iroquois Confederacy, his initial intended goal, but, instead, joined the war of independence which, as we know, didn't end well for the natives in the long run.
The ship sequences were easily the best part of the game. Good thing they chose to focus on that in Black Flag, which I've played before, and Rogue, which I'll play next.
