British Father, American mother- 2 children born in UK
Hi everyone,
I am the mom who has dual citizenship. We are taking our kids (3 and 1 years old) to the States for the first time this Christmas.
Our children have their British passports and I have not done a CRBA for either of them yet as we were hoping to let them decide if they want to claim their US citizenship when they are older.
Can we enter the USA on their UK passports and an ESTA?

Can I apply for post-completion OPT more than 90 days before my graduation date?
I have a job offer with a start date of November 5, 2026, and I plan to use CPT for it.
I have completed all my coursework, and the only requirement I have left is my capstone, which can be completed through a paper, project, or internship. However, my university only allows me to graduate in April 2027.
My CPT ends on December 12, 2026, and I am hoping to apply for post-completion OPT now, use premium processing, and receive my EAD by December 12 so I can continue working without a gap.
I understand that normally, you cannot apply for post-completion OPT more than 90 days before your graduation date. However, I also read that there may be an exception for students who have completed all their coursework and only have a thesis, dissertation, or equivalent capstone requirement remaining.
I’m confused about whether this exception applies to my situation and whether I can apply for post-completion OPT now, even though my official graduation date is in April 2027.
Has anyone been in a similar situation and successfully applied for post-completion OPT more than 90 days before graduation? If so, could you please share your experience and how your university handled the OPT recommendation?

Hi everyone! Has anyone had their I-751 approved without an interview while their N-400 was still pending? If yes, please share your experience. Did USCIS approve your ROC without an interview, or did you have a combined interview for both applications? Thank you

🚨 A USCIS proposal concerning premium processing timeframes entered White House review on Oct. 13, 2026.
Here’s what we know:
➡️ The current premium processing deadlines are NOT affected at this time.
➡️ The proposal is titled “Amending the Premium Processing Timeframe,” but the public record does not disclose its text or identify who’s impacted.
➡️ The next milestones to watch are completion of OIRA review and any subsequent publication in the Federal Register.
We’re tracking this proposal and will share updates as more information becomes available.

Can i apply for a f-1 after an asylum application got rejected
so basically my parents brought me to usa when i was 13 and applied to asylum, after 5 years the case got denied and appeal got dismissed, it got denied after 4 days that I turned 18, now after a while i got a offer from a university and got a good sponsor to attend this university playing soccer, im wondering if now with a new passport asking for a f-1 visa would be possible or if it will be automatically rejected because of these issues in the past.

NY pro bono requirement under H4 visa
Hi! I’m a foreign-educated attorney who passed all NY bar exams on my first attempt. I’m currently on an H-4 visa without an EAD. Can I legally volunteer for a nonprofit to complete my 60 pro bono hours without jeopardizing my status? I know what the law says, but I’d love to hear from anyone who’s personally been in this situation! 🙏
