Is some regions better than others in Albania in November?

I know weather might not be the best, we would like to rent a cabin for 10 days in the mountains but are all the trees with dead leaves or is it still green and beautiful?

I want to go from Orestiada to Budapest via Bulgaria and Romania. Which route is better? How are the streets? I cant leave Schengen so Serbia is not an option. I care only about speed and safety. The scenery is not that important

Miscellaneous Why hasn't Croteam grown into becoming the Balkans' CD Project Red?

Croteam is a Croatian game studio famous for Serious Sam and the Talos Principle. Yet compared to the polish studio it hasn't grown to be that big. Why? For, me it had the largest chance at becoming that. They made technologically impressive game engines. They had ties with big developers.

Miscellaneous Where are cheapest tools in Balkans?

I am looking to buy some Dewalt tools and here in Serbia they are really expensive, double the price then in Germany for example but if I order them by the time they get here it will cost the same unless I buy a couple of them which I cannot now.

So looking where in the 'neighborhood' I can find them for cheaper and either order them, go get them myself or have someone pick them up for me, mainly looking at countries bordering Serbia and I assume it is going to be EU countries but I do not know your local stores.

Some tools I want to buy is DCD805, DCF512/513/514, one of those and maybe DCBP318 battery just for reference.

Going with Dewalt since I already have impact hammer and 2 5ah batteries.

Thanks.

Politics & Governance North Macedonia under right handed Vmro stalls behind Albania on the journey towards the EU, what do you think of Skopje's intentions?

The government of Vmro accused for further isolating MK is currently not planning to continue it's journey to the EU, while Albania has already started to close negotiations chapters.

Skopje officially is denying to change it's constitution to include minorities such as Bulgarians, which is agreed since 2022 with the EU.

Vmro government compromised of people close to other autocratic leaders in Balkan

Vmro government compromised along with Albanian corrupted politicians in MK.

Culture/Traditional What's one wedding trandition of rour country/region that may sound odd?

I go first, in my area the Thursday leading to the wedding we plan a family gathering to set the couple's bed. We have women of the family set it up, throw money on it so that the couple has wealth and in the end we throw a kid so that the couple has many children on it. What's a weird wedding custom of your area?

Culture/Traditional Is my list of Romanian Mythology Vampiric beings correct?

Thanks friends for read this post, the Romanian myths of Vampires i recopilate, and i think could do good RPG's enemies are:

. Strigoi: two hearthed vampire, that starts as a Poltergeist-like spirit before reconstruct his body, its always red-head, can turn into Owls, spreads disseases and can steal the Animals Shadows to turn in them, it also can have descends with normal women that gonna turn into new Strigois after die

. Moroi: the son of a Nosferat and a Female Human, or between two Strigoi, small, beastly, hairy and with a Bat/Goblin/Gargoyle-like appearence, they can "project" their souls out their bodies to suck the blood of humans at distance

. Muroni: a weaker form of Strigoi, it sucks blood and spread diseases and can take animal forms freely (Dogs,Cats or Moths are their favorite)

. Nosferat: an Incubus-like Vampire, they spread diseases, suck blood of old people and had affairs with young ones, is specially evil & disgusting

. Pricolici: a Strigoi-like Vampire with a Wolf tail that can turn into a giant wolf to hunt and devour the Men & the Cattle, they born from Werewolves that resucitate as Vampires or from Kids that are breastfeed when they dont need it (yeah very weird....)

. Vârcolac: an Eldritch abomination Werewolf/Vampire-like creatures, Vârcolacs can project their souls into the forms of Giant Wolves that, as the Norse Fenris try to devour the Sun, for luck if the Vampire body of the Abomination is move when their soul is hunting he dies

Miscellaneous Can Balkan countries realistically become rich?

This question is mostly targeted to the “poorer” Balkan countries like N. Macedonia, Bulgaria, Albania, Kosovo, Serbia. But it can be true for the rest of the Balkans too.

I once thought that Albania is the greatest country in the world, the country with the MOST potential in Europe, but now I have realised that Albania and these smaller Balkans countries are maybe too irrelevant and small to become rich.

Balkan countries’ already small population is declining because people migrate to richer countries, little industries and some dependent on tourism (which is not that sustainable).

What do you think?

Disclaimer: When I mean rich, I mean a country that has good urban planning, good public transport, good waste management, good wages so the average citizen can live a comfortable life, etc. I don’t mean rich like Switzerland or Norway.

Outdoors/Travel Flixbus reliablility in winter late Dec, early Jan

I am planning a trip from Tirana, to Ohrid, Skopje, Sofia, ending in Bucharest in X'mas time all the way to New Years. How reliable is the Flixbus, do they usually cancel due to weather? Should I be concerned and plan other ways to travel?
