I missed out on the original release of these figures on the official Bandai shop, so I had to scavenge through the internet to find them (wasn't that hard apart for Steel Haze Ortus). I love them, especially since I absolutely suck at precise manual work and have to pass on model kits. The quality is top notch (they match the price point lol), they're pretty customizable (you can swap the shoulder units on walter and rusty for instance) and they're my favorite characters of ac6 (excluding chad Michigan) so I'm happy

Just got Armored Core 6 last night and had so much fun. After being absolutely brutalized back in AC3 and AC:LR, I finally bit the bullet and got this game.

That being said, how's this build? Anything I could improve upon?

...was when everyone kept telling me shotguns were great and I could not figure out why I kept missing even with a FCS geared towards short range.

Everything was fine until I got to the arena fight against Coldcall (act IV?) and suddenly could not track the dude no matter what I did. I got frustrated so I went back to read the difference between hard lockon and soft lockon and turns out I have been using the right stick to MANUALLY AIM my fucking plasma rifles up until now.

I stopped touching the right control stick and suddenly, the game is very easy. I'm a goddamned crack shot with staggered plasma rifles though so long as you arent 10x faster than me. I had my build 100% energy weapons (with dual shoulder laser cannons) but have switched to a 50/50 energy/explosive build so I can use shoulder mounted grenade launchers and lol.

Thing is, I still don't like shotguns vs. those medium range pulse rifles I unlocked in act 2 so I guess I'm just gonna roll with it.

Sorry for the wordy title. But I've posted before and some people immediately jump to "this is crap for PVP, change it". I do dabble in PVP, but I mostly play PVE, so these are based on what I enjoy aesthetically and what I find enjoyable to play. Having said all that, here they are.

The first is called VENATOR. I've posted it before, so this is an updated, more optimised version of that. It's a lot of fun. The C3 arms aren't the best for melee punish, since they only boost the damage by 5%, but they're probably the best looking arms in the game for me, so I use them anyway.

The second is called GUNGNIR. I 100 percented the game with a variation of that build. The only difference is some of the internals and I had the Verrill head, not the Shade Eye. The Verrill is a better head, but the Shade Eye just looks so damn cool.

The last is called MATRIX, and is, obviously, an Optimus Prime tribute. G1, specifically. I made a version of it a while back after I heard Peter Cullen had died. This is, again, an improved version of that. The Curtis or Harris rifles would be better thematically, but the Ransetsus are so much more controllable, especially with the Basho arms' abysmal target tracking. Also, the Autobot decal isn't mine. I’ve always wanted to start the armored core franchise after I saw some edits and the especial episode with Keanu on Netflix, when I researched the franchise I just felt like I would love it, but at the time I couldn’t get in because of all the games, emulators, and the time I had, so because I wanted to start from the origin I felt like maybe it was impossible.

I GOT A RG35XX PRO and got introduced to a whole new world and now have access to the early era of the games, but I don’t know where should I start and if maybe handheld controls are not ideal

What do you think?

So I’ve been trying to emulate AC4A on steam deck and it ran perfectly fine for a long time, like I had it working for I year or so, then I did a bunch of updates to RPCS3 and now the game crashes whenever I fight an enemy Next along with a ally Next for some reason? I’ve seen some solutions online but nothing has worked for me, is AC4A just not playable on steam deck anymore?

This is my first time building AC properly: with motive in my mind. So I made it around my newly acquired long range FCS, putting 3way pulse missiles and vert missiles on it. Let me know what you think :D
