This isn't about the horniness of the series but just a thought i reached when watching shinobu mail and im thinking that, man, this is one of the greatest series if not THE greatest series of all time. Kizu was a masterpiece and the entire story is so damn good. This is the only piece of fiction that had me opening up my notes to write stuff down.

woah, where are we moving this slow? have you seen her? Purple hair girl?🗣️💥

I recently finished Ougi dark and it was a very amazing conclusion(going to start zoku later). I originially started reading the light novel 3 months after finishing the anime to jolt my memories, ended up learning and liking monogatari even more? So what's yall favorite arc in the novel, I personally adore Mayoi Jiangshi, Sodachi riddle+lost, Hitagi end and lastly Ougi dark the most.

Who are your honorary Monogatari girls/boys? A character from another series that fits the vibe of Monogatari.

I nominate Vivy from Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song. Without spoiling, I would say she traveled a similar spiritual path as Araragi.

I need some stuff explained about ougi:
I get that she’s the part of ragi that criticizes himself and yada yada.
But why is she presented as a black hole/ darkness?
What did araragi mean by saving himself?

For those who don't know what I am referring to, there is a story arc in the second Monogatari novel where a character named Nadeko gets inflicted with a curse that gives her snake marks as I wanted to better understand how it works.

Recently, I started reading the third installment of the Bakemonogatari series as I found the character particularly interesting for how she likes to walk around in a swimsuit as her eccentric nature made me curious about how her curse ability works, but also why she comes as a bit peculiar again since she likes to walk around in public in a swimsuit for some reason.

been a while since my last re-watch but yea these are the rankings.
