New rule

After repeatedly having to remove posts from so-called "curious outsiders" this week, I have decided to make a new rule: posts from outsiders asking about antisexualism are no longer permitted. These posts have almost always turned into attempts to challenge, debate, or undermine the purpose of this space. Outsiders can't respect the space and follow the rules, so these posts are banned period.

If anyone is genuinely interested in antisexualism, there are already plenty of resources available. You're welcome to read the pinned post and browse through the discussions for more information. Making a post is not necessary to learn more about the community's ideology.

Once again, we are a safe space, not a debate forum. If someone wants to make arguments in favor of sex, there are plenty of spaces for that. There are not many spaces where someone can voice criticisms of sex without being shut down.

Future posts like this will be immediately removed. They're annoying, unnecessary, and serve nothing.

rant Why do some people feel like everyone needs to know about their fetishes?

• Upvotes

I was scrolling on Instagram last night and I came across this weird video. This girl was walking her boyfriend on a leash IN PUBLICCCCC. Then ppl in the comments were defending this disgusting action, and the people were who rightfully saying it was disgusting were being called prudes. Keep in mind,in the video they were in what looks to be a mall and you could LITERALLY SEE CHILDREN A FEW FEET AWAY FROM THEM. What is actually wrong with these people? Imagine just trying to go to the mall and buy some clothes or shit, and then you see someone walking another human being on a leash. You're not even safe in public anymore.

question Is “Romance” just sex?

I don’t know if this fits here, but it’s something I’ve been grappling with for the past few months. So I’m going to cross share this with multiple subs.

I’ve always been able to form deep emotional bonds with people, I would say me and my friends are closer than normal according to American society. But recently after an encounter with a man who I’ve been friends with for a while, he started behaving differently towards me, like flirty. He eventually asked me out and I turned him down, he got mad and claimed that I led him on.

This isn’t the first time something like this has happened. I’ve accepted that I’m aromatic and that I’m sex repulsed despite being bisexual. The traditional mold of romantic relationships doesn’t align with me and I’m a big fan of relationship anarchy.

I have deep conversations with my friends, we hang out, we hold hands. We’re always there for each other. But when some of them, both women and men inevitably ask to take things further I get confused. What’s the difference between what we have now and what they expect from me?

I’ve made it very clear of my views on romantic relationships and the whole “you’re the only one for me” and “I can’t live without you” I absolutely hate it.

Then there’s the sex talk. I have extreme views on sex and most of them are negative. I hate sex jokes and so many people think it’s entirely normal to just sexualize me when we’re friends.

I’m not asexual but I’m committed to lifelong celibacy and when and I tell people this they laugh it off or look at me like I’m crazy, and say things like I’ll change my mind or I have “puritanical views”.

I genuinely don’t care about what other people think. I’m comfortable with myself and the behavior that’s recently been directed towards me has deepened my beliefs even further.

Sex just ruins friendships, they look at you different and treat you as a potential sex partner instead of a friend. I’m honestly so frustrated, I don’t even feel human.

I obviously still care for them even if I don’t give up access to my body, is that all they want from me?

Is romance just an excuse to have constant access to one’s body without being demonized by society.

I just want to have a deep connection with someone without sex and have it mean something. Have it be as important as a romantic relationship. Is that impossible in today’s sex-obsessed world?

question Am I the only one who thinks sex is animalistic?

I think sex is inherently animalistic from an objective standpoint. Other animals have sex, and sexual desire is a primal desire. I find sex repulsive because I find it degrading as a male. I wouldn't want to have sex because I feel like I'm above my animal instincts, as a human. There's nothing wrong with being a virgin and I don't like it when people shame others for being against sex. They're basically saying: listen to your animalistic desires, and if you don't, that's unnatural because humans are sexual creatures. But natural doesn't always equal good. That's a very common fallacy.

I've developed cognitive dissonance when it comes to sex. It's hard to believe that others are actually having sex, sharing bodily fluids, and making moaning sounds, while at the same time, appearing like civilized (for lack of a better word). It sounds a bit like a contradiction. But I know sex is real, so I have this cognitive dissonance every time I go out. I've learned to live with it, because it's not like it's going to change.

Can you relate to my cognitive dissonance, or my experiences?

rant This sex model image ruined my day NSFW

TW: for enteral model of heterosexual penetrative intercourse.

So not to be sensitive, though I know people will understand where I’m coming from in this sub so I’m just gonna say it here, this image made me sick and scared. I find it gross and unnerving. I hate that it exists and is not just a photo. I found it on X and people were saying it’s of real people who donated their bodies to science. I’m not sure if this is the case, it obviously makes it worst, but it could be a wax model of a half dissected male and female to show the inner workings of penetrative sex, either way it has legit made me think humans were meant to see this. I wish I could see this as just some cool science model because I love science, but wherever sex is, misogyny follows because why is the women headless? Why does she get reduced to only her sexual organs and usage? And her nipples are shown and erect, yes I know that’s a common bodily response, but men have nipples too which can also become erect during state of arousal so it just feels like a way to complete the aesthetic ~ of boobs. They could add that detail, but not give her a damn HEAD. Meanwhile the man is give a head/face AND leg!

question Confused

I hope I don’t get attacked for this but just want to share because I feel kind of confused. I don’t crave penetrative sex and it kind of makes me sick that people are so obsessed with that. However my main confusion is that I do have a fetish that makes me aroused. It’s something that doesn’t need to involve sex of any kind, but is it possible for me to be anti sex while also engaging in the fetish?

philosophy Breaking up with someone because of sex

My mind can’t understand how people can love someone deeply but still be ready to break up with them just because they aren’t having sex.
My mind is blowing
Edit: I hear a lot of people saying that they won’t handle month or two without sex, they will breakup. How can you breakup with someone you love because of that

rant Why do men say that sex is love for them while women don't say that or say that very rarely?

Controversial opinion on that: i think it's because men are more biologically privileged and sex serves them more, while women have hang ups after sex when the man doesn't commit, that's BECAUSE our position in sex is more vulnerable and servile, so serving without commitement feels pointless and traumatic. like in that yt reel where nessa berret said she feels used after sex and hundred women in the comments were saying they relate or talking about how guys play them then ghost them after sex and how traumatizing is that and they don't wanna date anymore.

the answer is: biological differences and male privilege, male privlege also makes men sexually egositic and even sociopathic and predatory not even bc they are desperate and have to lie, its often bc they enjoy an ego boost from conquering and that is a position of POWER. that's how a person in power acts. bc they fucking CAN. while women can't, but then we're told we're not understanding towards men's "NEEDS" (sex is not a need),

sex can be so so so evil. a cause of so many EVIL, VILE behaviors. but these men keep talking and talking about how they are beyond woman's comprehension and how women have "no empathy" for how important sex is for men. BITCH, maybe if sex was about our pleasure and power and we could penetrate someone soft, pleasant and loving and NON THREATENING to us, then we would see it as something that gets us loved and pleased too!!! duhh!!!!!!! oh my fucking god.

meta World is sick because even intelligent people succumb to sexualized degenerated idiocracy

Did you notice how more and more people who are supposed to actually be intelligent, wise, work in highly academic fields, etc. massively succumb to sexual celeb/pop/cool narratives and try to appeal to the broad audience of masses by becoming like influencers, following trends, etc?

Everything is swallowed by idiocracy, sexualized trends, sexual attraction...

More and more academic researchers want to become famous so they do half-nude photoshoots, promote typical instagram lives on social media, etc...

They had integrity once. But they all bow down to idiots now.

More and more scientists and similar persons seek value through how "cool" they are. More and more of them are getting pushed and promoted by how interesting, cool, well dressed they are, how hot they are, etc. And they love it because even academic circles have degenerated massively in past few years. Nowdays, younger women scientists behave more like instagram models and influencers. Men also put sexual attraction, gym life, etc. over the very progress of society and personal integrity.

And you cannot say anything against that because you are instantly labeled as boomer, misogynistic, obsessed with people's lives, etc.

Tldr, academia has degenerated more than ever and now cares more about superficial things than actual research, originality, social improvement.

The Shakers! 🙌

Been deep diving a lot about The Shakers and Mother Ann Lee. Some aspects of the sect hasn't aged as gracefully but I think a lot can be learned by a staunchly celibate commune.

The main reason for their near extinction was lack of procreation which is a Catch-22 when it comes to any religious community. But that could easily be mitigated with a reasonable amount of community outreach.

Who else would be down with a sexless commune? It would be a good way for some of us to build a physical community with eachother outside of reddit

rant People just reduce you to your reproductive organs/secondary sexual characteristics

one of the worst things about sex / biological sex / reproduction is that most people essentially reduce you down to your reproductive organs and secondary characteristics. i mean essentially this is the reason why sexism exists and furthermore it's the reason why people treat "ugly" people like shit: because they don't want to have sex with them

its not even that the people who are judging people by their sex and sexuality are bad people because its literallt hardwired into us, written into our dna, to be constantly horny and objectifying and evil to people who aren't deemed sexable.

like if you're a woman the first thing people are gonna see about you is how pretty your face is, the shape of your breasts, if you have a good hip waist ratio or not. if you're a man they're going to be looking at your height, your facial hair, your muscles. and then people just base their whole first impression off of these stupid useless* sex features that we didn't even choose to have and usually can't change

i just really hate being a human because it seems like we're the most sexual creatures on earth and you can't do anything about it, even if your antisex the way other people look at you is still going to based on whether or not you're sexy to them. And the most evil aspects of sexuality are still going to be happening all around us as long as this species exists. Even other complex animals are pretty much only acting on instincts and they're not smart enough to comprehend morality. Like most animals in nature rape and kill each other. The large majority of creatures reproduce asexually. I wish that could be us. Anti sex asexual amoebas wiggling around eating bacteria. no brain

If High Schoolers Smoked Crack, People Would Lose Their Shit

If students at school smoked crack every week and talked about it incessantly, most people would throw a riot.

Yet, when it comes to s\*x and p\*rnography, people treat it like it's good for them.

Pleasuring of the body releases enough feel good chemicals to cause psychological dependency, addiction, reward seeking, and compulsive behavior. Over 90% of students are exposed to this before high school even begins.

Every type of person, from the homeless person to the billionaire, has people enabling them to indulge in physical pleasure. There are people who live by proverbs such as, if it exists, people will s\*xualize it. To the average person, s\*xuality isn't just unavoidable, it's woven into social life, media, and a portion of slang.

S\*xuals are blinded to the vanity of pleasure and the world at large behaves entitled to it. They're unable to view it as anything much less than good because it feels too good, and it's practically everywhere. And the act itself is literally referred to as a way to waste time and energy ("your head up your ass", "dih in hand", "somewhere j\*rking off").

At least crack in and of itself doesn't carry the risk of pregnancy, STDs, or s\*xual offenses, and most people agree there should be usage restrictions and an age requirement. You might at least be productive on crack.

Looking for Good Anti-Sex Literature:

I was wondering if anyone had any good readings they could recommend so that I could broaden my understanding of our movement. Everyone seems to be so s-e-x positive, It's disgusting. I need to find a book that isn't in favor it, so I can read in peace, and have a perspective that is actually for antisexualism and not simply against it. I want to imagine a future in which the human race no longer has to be bound by its every whim, in which we can be free from such tyrannical impulses. In a word, sterilized. A human race in which we grow not from unneeded human relations, but from the only source that can be trusted. That is to say, rational action based upon the needs of our civilization.

rant The natural power imbalance in sex and the patriarchal gender roles.

If this post isn't alright, remove it and i'm sorry for making it, i'm gonna try to be decent here.

so imo and in my analysis and what my dysphoria makes me feel, i see that in sex, gender roles are almost like inherent? another point to consider in this analysis is that sex IS in fact animalistic. okay so following this though process that just an intutive analysis of real reality, in sex female biology has a feminine role(mentally and physically) and men can technically have both but is centered around the masculine/penetrative role. those are gender roles created by sex and thats another reason to be antisex, bc uhh those roles are patriarchal bc theres inherent imbalance in sex between men and women. even if a woman got a "good gentle decent man" who shits out flowers out of his ass for her, the sex still has animalistic female male polarity and mechanism and him acting decent doesn't free her from the burden of female sex role bc women have to do all the obscene and dark things in sex i wont be naming them, just think. her role still requires to be a whore, im not even saying it as an insult, but a word that fits the darkness of womans position in sex. this made me think that its not men or patriarchy that subjogates us women, but its our own biology and sex instead that does that and then anything else comes second.

sex makes me predators or degenerates and women masochistic pickmes who go against feminism and their own comfort. beacause... thats what female biology is stimulated in in sex, humans above these urges are more decent. its just a matter of mental developement. i never had sex at 26 and dont feel touch straved, dont fight urges and dont feel fomo even i have a high libido. sex is NOT a need. youre just undeveloped, entitled or a pickme or want to be a cool girl to get male attention, depends on your gender. sex even makes men sociopathic towards women, bc they are born with power and the upper hand, so they dont care ab romance like women do, women care bc we have a vulnerable role, not bc we want. its out of powerlesness, if we could have upper hand, we also would not care ab emotional depth and attachement and only want men for sex and convinience, seek novelty, not get attached, play games, be predators, use men, discard men after sex, be lustful, see men as an ego boost. men always say they just want sex and sex is love for them. but they dont realize its bc they r born privileged and women arent. they act like they are special and beyond womans comprehenson but they are just annoying with all their power they soak in. if sex was ab my power and pleasure then i would see it as love too, duh!!! but fuck sex and its vile power imbalance that creates a system when one uses another for its own egoistic gain and other bows and kneels to them and then calls it feminist and empowering.

i have a female biology like all women on earth and it has the same universal desires but i consciously choose to be sovreign, independent and to not engage in my own subjogation bc i genuinely find it suffocating to be in that role. sex very much LOVES patriarchy and even rapism. humans wont admit it, they will sugar coat instead but most of patriarchy probably comes from sex and not from socialization, society itself is made in the image of human biology anyways.

another thing is porn, it shows female and male biology and female male polarity and it pretty much reflects the reality, the reality of human nature, womanhood, male nature and human sexual desires. its not fiction. the reason porn is degrading to women is bc sex has power imbalance naturally, if it didnt porn wouldnt be able to be so shocking and vile. the female bodies you see in sex who r getting penetarted in all those compromising positions... its what female biology is and made possible for a woman to be in that role she is in porn ykwim.

ive been a virgin my whole life, by choice.. a conscious choice and discomfort with female gender role. i think sex is inherently gender conforming. i feel more "sexually" fullfiled being celibate and abstinent from masturbation even, i feel rebellious and powerful this way, self loving and independent, enlightened even. i think sex shows human darkness they have to work through. both sexes have darkness, womens is masochism and mens both this and opossite and just general degeneracy. both sexes darkness is... patriarchal desires, i know its controversial to say but thats my perception based on observing real life. im not into making humans stop having sex etc. im rather just using anti sex to express myself. but i opt out. i also feel too sensitive for female role and for sex. if a man wanted me, how could i feel comfortable engaging in lustful animalistic fucking if im so fragile and autistic? i think what autism did to my mind kinda exposes the nature of sex bc if a innocent sensitive woman who hates sexual submiossion and sexual degradation cant not feel shocked by sex then what does that say ab sex? i kinda wish human sticked with the "autistic ppl are like children and asexual" stereotype but nowadays i see stuff like "why autistic BADDIES THRIVE IN BDSM!!" i'm not even exageratting lol!!! or "why neurodivergent ppl LOVE KINK!!!".

sex disturbs me so much bc of the imbalance that i have to change the gym i got attached to bc i found out a man in there wants me to get into his bed and thats his whole intentions. i dont feel comfortable being myself in there anymore or being confident and self assured, now i feel self conscious and overpowered and humiliated, mocked even for being such a powerless sensitive female slave. im just someones ego boost. hope he finds a new target or targets he can play a game with. im sick of the power imbalance sex created between genders. it makes me wanna scream and cry. i just wanted to enjoy myself and be playful.

question Stance on strict reproduction?

Is this community antinatalist? What if sex was performed not out of lust, but between a couple strictly for pregnancy and a child?

I am also wondering how everyone judges animal sexuality. Are we only talking about human sexuality or do we moralize against animal instincts too? As in, is universal extinction the goal, or just human extinction? Or is reproduction okay under the right conditions (e.g. not out of lust etc.) Thanks for any reply.

Is lesbian sex harmful?

I've been a lurker on this sub for a while, and your ideas make a lot of sense to me. I've always thought the way men talk about women is absolutely disgusting, and I feel like hetero sex is clearly degrading to women. The way men just think about women as objects for their pleasure is abhorrent to me. I don't understand how women can allow themselves to be used by their oppressors.

However, as a (non-sexual!) lesbian with a lot of lesbian friends, I feel like these problems don't seem to apply nearly as much in lesbian relationships? The lesbians I know never talk about other women in the crude, dehumanizing way men do, and in lesbian sex, there's no power imbalance. I mean, no one's doing the 'using', the imposing upon another person. I've seen you guys say all forms of sex are harmful, even non hetero sex, but I'm trying to understand what exactly is the problem when there's no man involved. Women don't have to penetrate each other, they see each other as equals, there’s no orgasm gap, and they don't risk procreation (I'm also anti natalist). Are lesbians really hurting themselves when they have sex with each other?

Sexuals and their revolting sense of humour

Post image
62 Upvotes

[using the image post as an example] What is genuinely funny about animal abuse? sexuals love churning out disgusting, unfunny jokes that act as a direct confession of who they are. I can not fathom ever having thoughts like that toward an innocent creature, let alone sharing or laughing at them.

I am so sick of how often this cruelty is excused or worse, applauded as clever and edgy dark humour when the entire punchline relies on hurting animals. Naturally, sexuals don't stop there. They also feel the need to broadcast their explicit, predatory, or abusive "jokes" onto animals , children, and random people and even objects just to prove how "humorous" they are.

I am sick of sexauls dismissing each others behaviour as harmless shock value. These individuals are revealing their true character, and i am very worried about what they are capable of doing or excusing in real life.

debate One bad thing about sexuality is how objectifies the human body

It's because rather than seeing a person, sexuality makes others see the human body as an object of desire. I think this is damaging to society because someone's worth is tied to their physical body. If you don't have a conventionally attractive body, they're deemed less valuable by others, which is sad. As a result, so many people have issues with their body image, because they're worried if they're "attractive" or not. It's yet another source of inequality in society, and humanity needs less, not more inequality.

Would you agree with my points?

low-effort "Silly little me thinking love was more than sex work"

I just saw a part of an interview with Nessa Berret and she said she wrote the song Candy about she always feels used after sex with men and how it's something she gives up something for to have with men.

"Had me on my knees, I did my best work
Gave it up for free and still I get hurt
If I charged a fee, I might feel better
Silly little me thinking love was more than sex work"

but like i said in my own post here humans keep sugar coating female role in sex and gaslighting. ohh ok!

discussion Is this a good place to say i think sex during pregnancy is really weird and disugusting?

Even though technically there isnt any physical contact between the guy and the baby, the concept of this feels so degenerate to me. I don't know how more people don't share this view, because when i tried to find some threads about it, everyone was embracing it as something positive.
