I think sex is inherently animalistic from an objective standpoint. Other animals have sex, and sexual desire is a primal desire. I find sex repulsive because I find it degrading as a male. I wouldn't want to have sex because I feel like I'm above my animal instincts, as a human. There's nothing wrong with being a virgin and I don't like it when people shame others for being against sex. They're basically saying: listen to your animalistic desires, and if you don't, that's unnatural because humans are sexual creatures. But natural doesn't always equal good. That's a very common fallacy.

I've developed cognitive dissonance when it comes to sex. It's hard to believe that others are actually having sex, sharing bodily fluids, and making moaning sounds, while at the same time, appearing like civilized (for lack of a better word). It sounds a bit like a contradiction. But I know sex is real, so I have this cognitive dissonance every time I go out. I've learned to live with it, because it's not like it's going to change.

Can you relate to my cognitive dissonance, or my experiences?

So not to be sensitive, though I know people will understand where I’m coming from in this sub so I’m just gonna say it here, this image made me sick and scared. I find it gross and unnerving. I hate that it exists and is not just a photo. I found it on X and people were saying it’s of real people who donated their bodies to science. I’m not sure if this is the case, it obviously makes it worst, but it could be a wax model of a half dissected male and female to show the inner workings of penetrative sex, either way it has legit made me think humans were meant to see this. I wish I could see this as just some cool science model because I love science, but wherever sex is, misogyny follows because why is the women headless? Why does she get reduced to only her sexual organs and usage? And her nipples are shown and erect, yes I know that’s a common bodily response, but men have nipples too which can also become erect during state of arousal so it just feels like a way to complete the aesthetic ~ of boobs. They could add that detail, but not give her a damn HEAD. Meanwhile the man is give a head/face AND leg!
