I've had it with the job application process.

Ever since I completed these free computer science courses last year and got CompTIA A+, Network+ and Security+ certifications, I've been unsuccessfully applying for jobs even though the agency that administered the courses in the first place promised that I would have a job after graduating the courses. Not even help revising my resume or assistance from a local agency that assists autistic people with job placement has done anything. I just recently got a job, but had to turn it down when I found it was a fuckin' telemarketer job. I swear, every day that passes, the probability of me killing someone gets closer and closer to 100%.

Yeah I feel you. It’s getting to the point I have to take my PRN after doing any job search stuff because my feelings of despair just get so out of control. It’s rage worthy. Im sorry that job didn’t work out, I hope one does for you

Yeah, I hope so too, because I've had to resort to Uber to make money, and even that didn't work because they deactivated my account pending an appeal due to a fraudulent report of "unsafe driving", so I'm trying to get my GrubHub account reactivated just in case and also filed a job application as a merchandise stocker with BJ's as a temporary measure to at least provide me with a paycheck.

You're not the only one. I had those 3 certs plus more AND years of actual IT work experience. Due to not being able to find a job in the field, I let the certs expire and I'm probably going to go for a Rad Tech degree even though I only had 5 classes left to finish my Bachelors in Cybersecurity. The IT field and this country are a complete joke.

Yeah, I barely have any official IT work experience at all despite having decades of experience with computers - my friends and family would even say that I was born with a keyboard in my hand - and it sucks that nothing works.

No, my younger brother works in construction, and knowing what I know about that job, I'm not desperate enough to take it.
