This is what worked for me after trying 3 or so years with zero results. NSFW
Holy prostate.
After owning several Aneros models for 3 or so years, or maybe even longer, I finally experienced what might pass for a prostate orgasm. Wait. Make that 3. Or was it 5? 6? I can't really say! Feel free to replace with a term you prefer!
Oh and despite the length of time being 3 years, I haven't routinely tried getting a prostate orgasm. At times there have been months without any attempts.
Here's exactly what I did:
I did a 15 min session of TRE before using the aneros. May be unrelated, who knows, might as well mention it, see end of post*
I followed the guidelines as referenced to by SwitchBoy01, here: https://www.reddit.com/user/SwitchBoy01/comments/15rbqrf/aneros_how_i_made_it_work/
There's really nothing technical, just: breathe, relax, enjoy.
I was lying on my side as instructed.
I had all lights off and I kept my eyes closed.
And, since edibles seem to be mentioned all the time: I did NOT take any edibles or anything else for that matter.
I started the session using an aneros helix, but after maybe 45 mins realized I felt as if I didn't even have an aneros inserted. It was kind of odd. So off to the deep and and in with the progasm ice.
Again, once I lay on my side, I honestly felt very little. But I figured I might as well give it time.
I don't know how long exactly passed. At some point, I started getting these tiny, involuntary clenches. And while the instructions mentioned previously state that you should relax, I didn't force myself to relax and just let things occur without doing anything except observing.
This went on for a while. I didn't keep track of time. It was like waves of... something... would come and go with what sometimes felt a long time between them. Sometimes those clenches were miniscule. Other times, surprisingly hard.
I didn't feel like my prostate was being stimulated. I don't even know if I would recognize the feeling.
Then, quite out of nowhere, I would first feel my abdominal muscles go tight... tighter... as tight as they could get. After that, I could feel my, well, ass get tighter. And then it hit me. I started shaking throughout my body. Breathing became ragged and I would almost gasp for air. I would grip the pillow hard with my hands.
This lasted maybe minutes. It passed. I lay down doing absolutely nothing but breathing and staying relaxed. And then I would feel my muscles getting tight... another round of shaking.
As I mentioned, I don't know how many times this happened, I was so absorbed in the moment.
When I figured I'd had enough, I went on the floor to lay on my back. But sure enough, after doing pretty much nothing for a short while, another round hit me.
It was nice. It was more than I had expected. And, at the same time, it was less than I expected based on what I'd read before. But this is just the beginning for me.
Things that I've read being mentioned but didn't occur to me during this first successful aneros session: I did not get a rock hard erection. I did not get a hands free wet orgasm. I did not leak an epic amount of precum, but enough to feel it.
I'm quite certain what I experienced was a hands free dry orgasm. Or prostate orgasm. Or whatever you want to call it. Funny, just writing this shortly afterwards causes my muscles to clench and body to shake. Just a little though.
I tend to come hard during sex (ie. shake involuntarily and all that) when I come inside my wife. This was a different kind of feeling. Maybe not as intense (yet!), but it sure lasted longer and there was this nice afterglow.
From start to finish this took maybe 2 and a half hours.
And since someone might ask, I own these aneros models (in no particular order):
Helix
Eupho
GMX
Maximus
Progasm Ice
Peridise
I haven't really had any success using any of these until now.
I tried the Vice 2. Hated the silicone coating. Doesn't slide that well and good grief does it retain odour. Threw it away eventually.
Still want the Tempo at some point.
Best of luck in getting results to you all.
* This may be totally unrelated, but before I even thought about doing an aneros session I spent 15 mins doing TRE. The what now? I'm not even going to try to describe it in words. This is the video I learned TRE from: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QoB9wpuO688
Why do I mention TRE? Because, when done right (I guess), you can feel both relaxed and experience tremors - for lack of a better word to describe them. This particular TRE session went really well for me as I was only 15 minutes in and was shaking from head to toes. And for some reason, got an erection. It was a kind of mixture of relaxation, shaking and sexual pleasure.
Anyway, if you look up TRE you will find all kinds of stories. For me, it's been a purely physical 'exercise' which helps me relax my body. No effects otherwise whatsoever. YMMV.
Okay, so what DOES any of that have to do with aneros and/or prostate orgasms?
This: what I experienced today when using my aneros progasm had surprising commonalities with TRE, ie. whole body shaking and a pleasant feeling. It could be TRE had sort of primed me to get 'results'. Or not.
