Spotted walking into the store, keep your cameras with you, you never know what you’ll see!
This is my first year shooting film, I’ve been shooting digital for 10 years or so. Any criticism good or bad is greatly appreciated!

Infrared Halifax [Contax S2b, 28mm, 45mm f/2.8, Kodak IE 2236]
I recently shot a roll of Kodak IE 2236, the older version of EIR. It expired in 1984. Very surprised that I got some decent results (+ post editing). I shot at 25 with a BW 040 filter and a CPL filter. I cross-processed it in C-41 as the original processing is E-4 and had to spend some time looking for the right temperature, processing time, and agitation methods to prevent the emulsion melting.

First scans. Went on a dusty offroad motorcycle trip with my 3 brothers and took my Pentax 17 out for the first time. Impressive! [Pentax 17, Half Frame, Kodak Gold 200]
All shot on a recent trip I undertook with my 3 brothers, camping and motorcycling. I had so much fun taking pictures, it is a photogenic hobby.
I didn't do any editing of the scans other than some minor exposure adjustments. How do you guys handle Kodak Gold 200 in lightroom? It's all pretty new to me, this is the first time I received scans instead of paper prints.
Very impressed with the quality of the half frame shots coming out of this new(!) camera. Still amazed by that, how you can buy a film camera new these days. Good times!
I've been reading about the supposed lack of resolution on half-frame camera's, and while it's true you can see the shots being half the size of normal 35mm, the pictures are WAY sharper than I imagined them to be. Pentax made a fantastic lens. Absolutely sufficient for digital use and small/medium prints, although I might be a bit biased because I'm not a fan of a razor-sharp digital look (or a sharp analog look for that matter).
Probably wouldn't use it with with ISO's higher than 400 (800?) though, unless I really want to go for that thick grainy look. From what I've seen online, it gets muddy quick. I will try some 3200 B&W I have laying around tho, that should be fun.
72 shots a roll for me is a big selling point! I've heard counter arguments of it taking long to shoot a full roll, but it just motivated me to go out and shoot more which I love. I shot 4 rolls of half frame in the first two weeks of owning the Pentax (2 Kodak Gold, 2 Fujifilm 400), it feels liberating to be able to shoot film so much cheaper.
Hope you enjoy the snaps!

Gold 200 pushed to 800 [Mamiya 645 Super | 80mm 2.8]
These were shot on a highly overcast day and honestly, I’ve never gotten colors this good when home developing C41.
Developed for 4:15 minutes at 38 Celsius, the negatives came out quite thin. I think they would have needed a few more seconds. You also need to meter for the shadows when shooting, they fall apart very quickly when underexposed. I might try shooting it at ISO 640 next to be safe and then still pushing it two stops when developing.
I love how warm they turned out, despite it being a muddy grey day. Perfect for the endless grey skies we get here in Germany for half of the year!

Personal film from Greece [canon elan 7NE, 50mm 1.8, can’t remember the film stock]
Once I spotted this outdoor shower after lounging on the beach for hours, I knew the setting sun would hit it at the right angle. Mama had a vision and mama EXECUTED it perfectly. Can’t believe these turned out exactly how I wanted them to
