Coming up on my third year playing airsoft and looking to get into milsim at some point, why are there so many people who will genuinely see you as subhuman for not using the perfect gear setup that'll cost you an arm and a leg to even finance.

I've noticed this a lot (especially in milsim circles) where someone will ask a question or show off their new gear, just to get clowned on by somebody who thinks they're superior because they sold their car to buy real crye.

Recently decided to mess around with painting my airsoft replica and went for a Bloodsport-inspired look. I know this style isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I've always liked the aggressive, industrial look with the red accents.

Took a bit of work to get it where I wanted, and there's probably a few things I could've done better, but overall I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. 😁

What do you guys think? Anything you'd do differently?

I am considering attempting the most expensive project on planet earth . I am going to attempt to buy a VFC GBB m249 (or other relevant GBB system) and then attending to fit this into an MG42 and then Hpaing this system so that I will then have the world first GBBR Mg42 ! . I really want to know of this is possible and if anyone have the dimensions for the internal space of the mg42 or the dimensions of the m249 system ?

Hey yall just recently got my very 1st shotgun. That being the Jag arms scattergun HDS. Im going to attend z9 at Ballahack airsoft. But I still have a major question. What kind of sling will I need? I noticed the areas to put one are kind of small so if anyone can help me out that would be great thanks!!!! (Yes im holding it one handed to take the picture and yes its unloaded and without gas too)

I'm wondering if anyone out there could help me figure out this issue with my VSR 10. It's a basic CYMA 701B with nothing but a spring, spring guide and piston upgrade. It's been perfect for weeks and now for some reason I am having an incredibly hard time pushing the bolt back.
It got stuck the other day so bad that I had to tap it pretty hard to force it back in as I didn't want to leave the spring compressed.

I keep seeing posts about the spring guide stopper potentially being the issue, But being so new to this I don't really know why it would be doing this.
Everything is nicely lubed where it needs to be. Nothing is overtightened. Everything seems to be aligned properly. Have been really enjoying this rifle, and I have been studying it's internals quite a bit so I can strip it and clean it regularly and upgrade it which I really do like doing.

If anyone has had this issue or knows what could potentially be the cause please let me know. I was hoping one day to actually take it to an event. I have a Specna Arms M4/AR15 which I should probably use first, but would like to try sniping at some point, but not like this :(

I’d like to know ya’ll’s thoughts on my first build! I personally feel like something is off about the look of the Sig Romeo there and I might change it to my EOTECH 558 that I have lying around. The optic is just kind of off for me, not sure why lol. Also here’s a list of the furniture:
