I think the path is the ingame cobblestone (minus the little steps), what I think you need to ask for is the code for the brick curb

The ATM in community services (been awhile since I've played, forgot if it's called that) should be selling them under the Nook Miles tab after the first KK concert. You also need to buy terraforming

Have you gotten KK to come to your island? I'm not sure but I think you don't get the custom designs until after he comes for the 1st time.
