Meanwhile Gengar is supposed to be hiding in the shadows, but right now, at 46 tiles wide, it has the stealth of a Snorlax shouting through a megaphone.

Right beneath it lurks Spiritomb. 108 spirits sealed in one Pokémon, which happens to be the exact number of browser tabs I had open while planning this layout.

Crawling nearby is the Spider Queen straight from Dark Moon. I’d like to formally apologize to anyone with arachnophobia, but Flick pays well, and he doesn’t ask where they came from.

Tucked right below the spider is Pumpkin Head, Jack’s cousin from Oracle of Ages. Same unsettling smile, but this one makes you fight for the candy.

Just above Luigi's hat roosts a chill Keese. Bats usually gather in swarms, but this one is on his own. Still, I wouldn’t shake the trees nearby.

Then we have the Link's Awakening Ghost, who haunted Link until he finally brought him home, only to realize the house was completely unchanged from when he was alive. At least here he can finally redecorate. (Because he could handle death. The beige though, not so much)

And finally, Boo, the only one here who truly gets me, as we both freeze the moment someone makes eye contact and look significantly better in the dark.

As for the villagers, every single one of them currently owns a throwback skull radio. Either they're all die hard horror fans, or Nook’s Cranny got a massive bulk discount on cursed merchandise, hard to say.

Anyway, Tom Nook has asked me to remind you all that the haunted mansion is still for sale. He’s been trying to get rid of it since 2001. No refunds, previous tenants included.

The rooms are somewhat based off of various One Piece arcs (if my island name wasn’t obvious enough). I really need to redo a few of the rooms, I wish we could save design presets to be able to shake things up every once in a while!

I’ve always avoided miss scorpion because the first time she stung me was the first time I ever saw her and I genuinely screamed 😭 but I saw her today and I really just ran at her with my net and caught her! Friends who have visited my island seem to like my house so I thought I would share here! My house has a pretty strong theme but the rest of my island doesn’t lol or at least not compared to some of the themed islands I’ve seen on here. Hi everyone! I just started New Horizons and it's so cozy, I love it. I'm still learning the ropes and still working on paying off the first home loan.

I'd love some advice on two things:
1. Iron nuggets. I have about 12 of the 30 I need to build the shop despite grinding for days, I've already tried hitting rocks with a stone axe on an empty stomach and traveling on a Nook Miles Ticket. Any tips for getting the rest faster? I feel like it’s taking forever! I only get like a couple boulders on my island.
2. Making Bells. What's the best way to earn Bells quickly as a beginner? I placed my tent in a spot I'm not happy with, and I just learned moving it costs an extra 30,000 Bells. Live and learn! 😅

Lastly, my town is brand new, so I'd love to see how yours looks! Im curious on how towns look for those much further in the game! Screenshots or videos of your town or island would be some great inspo. (I don't have Nintendo Switch Online, so I can't visit islands unfortunately)

Hello all! Me and my mom have been playing animal crossing for years. I recently got the new one and showed her how it all works and she’s excelled as usual. Her only issue is the shooting stars. Whenever they fall she’ll maybe get a few but she can’t hear them. I can hear them just fine on her switch but I think just her age has caused her to not hear them falling. She only manages to wish upon them when she happens to catch a glimpse of them in the sky. She’s tried headphones on blast to no avail. Is there any way to change the pitch of the noise to something lower or someway to get it louder? I’m not super switch savvy so idk if there’s something in settings to do this or even in game? Any answers or suggestions are welcome!

I have Tia on my island and just met Dizzy on a mystery island, but decided against him.
